Tesis ini menganalisispartisipasi keselamatan pada pekerjaPertambangan Emas Bawah Tanah PT X Propinsi Banten.Penelitian dilakukan oleh penulis berdasarkan 7 (tujuh) kalikejadian berbahaya yang samayang terjadi secara berturut-turut pada tahun 2015, dimana kinerja keselamatan terutama partisipasi keselamatan menjadi penyebab kejadian. berdasarkan kondisi atau suasana keselamatan yang menjadi antesenden dalam membentuk partisipasi keselamatan pekerja dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja keselamatan sehingga dapat mengurangi dan mencegah terjadinya kejadian yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesejahteraan, kesehatan dan cidera. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif analitik dengan pendekatan mixed methods meliputi analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan desain study cross sectional, Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa iklim keselamatan, motivasi keselamatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja memberikan pengaruh terhadap partisipasi keselamatan pada pekerja di Pertambangan Emas Bawah Tanah PT X. Perusahaan perlu melakukan tinjauan ulang keterlibatan pekerja, perwakilan pekerja dan manajemen dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program K3. Kata kunci: Partisipasi, pekerja, keselamatan, iklim kerja, motivasi, kepuasan kerja This thesis analyzes the safety participation of underground gold mining workers of PT X of Banten Province. The research is conducted by the authors based on 7 (seven) different harmful phenomenon that occur respectively in 2015, where safety performance especially safety participation is the cause of the incident. Based on safety conditions or moods that are antecedent in shaping workers' safety participation with the aim of improving safety performance so as to reduce and prevent the occurrence of events that may cause welfare, health and injury. This research is an analytic descriptive research with mixed methods approach including qualitative and quantitative analysis with cross sectional study design. The result of the study found that the safety climate, work safety motivation and job satisfaction have an effect on the safety participation of the workers in the Underground Gold Mine of PT X. Company is necessary to review the involvement of workers, workers' representatives and management in the planning and implementation of OSH programs.
