Angka kejadian, kecacatan dan kematian stroke masih tinggi. Pelayanan stroke di rumah sakit belum standar, baik ruangan perawatan dan terapinya. Hal tersebut yang melatarbelakangi pembentukan pusat stroke di RSMH. Tesis ini membahas kesiapan faktor-faktor yang berperan dalam pembentukan pusat stroke di Rumah Sakit M Hoesin. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain analitik. Hasil penelitian didapatkan faktor yang belum siap adalah SDM dan infratsruktur yang masih kurang dan kebijakan/protokol yang belum lengkap. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan membuat rencana jangka pendek, menengah dan panjang untuk pembentukan pusat stroke di Rumah Sakit M Hoesin yang meliputi infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia dan kebijakan/standar yang dibutuhkan agar pusat stroke bisa berjalan optimal. Hospital stroke service is not up to standard, both the treatment room and the therapy. This is what lies behind the establishment of a stroke center at RSMH. This thesis discusses the readiness of the factors that play a role in the establishment of stroke center at M Hoesin Hospital. This research is a qualitative research with analytic design. The result of the research shows that the factors that are not ready are the human resources and some of the infratructure that is still lacking and the policy / protocol is not yet complete. The results suggest that short, medium and long term plans for the establishment of a stroke center at M Hoesin Hospital covering the infrastructure, human resources and policies / standards required for a stable stroke center.
