Abstrak
Peningkatan populasi lansia di Indonesia, terjadi pula di Kota Depok, Jawa Barat dengan jumlah lansia 202.194 jiwa yang erat kaitannya dengan peningkatan kebutuhan lansia. Program sekolah lansia IRL Kota Depok hadir sebagai salah satu langkah untuk menjawab tantangan penuaan yang ada sehingga lansia dapat menua dengan sukses. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program sekolah lansia IRL Kota Depok dalam mencapai successful aging. Metode yang digunakan mix-method dengan desain exploratory sequential, untuk penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus dan untuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap program sekolah lansia IRL Kota Depok melalui Teori Manajemen oleh George R. Terry yang terdiri dari proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian, serta kebermanfaatannya mendorong lansia dalam successful aging melalui Teori Fernandez Ballesteros. Hasil penelitian bahwa program sekolah lansia IRL Kota Depok sudah cukup baik dalam mendorong lansia mencapai successful aging yang tergambar pada keseluruhan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan termasuk kurikulum dan materi yang disampaikan, kebermanfaatan tertinggi terdapat pada dimensi spiritual dengan nilai rata-rata 4,29 dan terendah pada dimensi vokasional dengan nilai rata-rata 3,40. Namun dalam proses perencanaan masih perlu analisis kebutuhan lansia secara komprehensif, proses pengorganisasian perlu gambaran struktur organisasi yang jelas dan pelatihan pengurus secara berkala, proses pelaksanaan perlu dukungan pendanaan, narasumber, sarana maupun prasarana yang lebih baik, serta proses pengendalian yang masih perlu penyesuaian terhadap proses monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan. Rekomendasi yang disarankan meliputi analisis kebutuhan lansia secara komprehensif, membentuk kurikulum dan rencana pembelajaran lansia menyesuaikan kebutuhan dan kondisi lansia, kerjasama antar instansi maupun komunitas, koordinasi dengan sistem yang lebih baik antar sekolah lansia, evaluasi perkembangan lansia secara berkala, pencatatan sumberdaya lansia, memberdayakan lansia dengan melibatkan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan.
The increase in the elderly population in Indonesia also occurs in Depok City, West Java with 202,194 elderly people, which is closely related to the increasing needs of the elderly. The Depok City IRL elderly school program is present as one of the steps to answer the existing aging challenges so that the elderly can age successfully. Therefore, this study aims to evaluation the Depok City IRL elderly school program in achieving successful aging. The method used is mix-method with exploratory sequential design, for qualitative research with case studies and for quantitative research with survey methods. Evaluation was carried out on the Depok City IRL elderly school program through Management Theory by George R. Terry which consists of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling processes, and its usefulness in encouraging the elderly in successful aging through Fernandez Ballesteros Theory. The results of the study that the Depok City IRL elderly school program is good enough in encouraging the elderly to achieve successful aging which is reflected in the overall activities that have been carried out including the curriculum and material presented, the highest benefit is in the spiritual dimension with an average value of 4.29 and the lowest in the vocational dimension with an average value of 3.40. However, the planning process still needs a comprehensive analysis of the needs of the elderly, the organizing process needs a clear description of the organizational structure and regular training of administrators, the implementation process needs better funding support, resource persons, facilities and infrastructure, and the control process which still needs adjustments to the monitoring and evaluation process carried out. Suggested recommendations include analysing the needs of the elderly comprehensively, forming curriculum and elderly learning plans according to the needs and conditions of the elderly, cooperation between agencies and communities, coordination with a better system between elderly schools, periodic evaluation of the development of the elderly, recording elderly resources, empowering the elderly by involving them in various aspects of life.
