Abstrak
Analisis hubungan variabel dependen (keluhan respirasi) dan variabel independen (karakteristik pekerja, karakteristik pekerjaan, intensitas pajanan dan pencegahan gangguan respirasi) pada pekerja penyemprot parakuat di perkebunan kelapa sawit Kalimantan Tahun 2022. Desain penelitian potong lintang, studi kuantitatif deskriptif analitik dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara daring Agustus – Oktober 2022. Total sampel 189 responden pekerja dan 10 responden manajemen. Hasil-keluhan respirasi (13,22%), keluhan batuk (11,11%), batuk disertai dahak (3,17%), sesak napas (2,11%), ashma (1,05%). Analisis multivariat menunjukkan kebiasaan merokok memiliki risiko 4x (p 0,006), OR 4,12 (1,50-11,32)) keluhan respirasi dibanding yang tidak merokok, buruh tetap memiliki risiko 3x (p-value 0,022, OR 2,98 (1,16- 7,64)) dibanding buruh lepas, dan penggunaan APD kurang baik memiliki risiko 4,77x (p 0,002, OR 4,77 (1,78 - 12,80)). Tidak ditemukan hubungan bermakna pada analisis upaya pencegahan gangguan respirasi dan keluhan respirasi. Disarankan bagi 1) Pekerja, proaktif melakukan upaya pola hidup sehat/kerja sehat dan program berhenti merokok, 2) Perusahaan, implementasi metode RAPKPIEK, pemeriksaan lingkungan kerja, program fit to work, peningkatan kualitas & kuantitas penggunaan APD, sistem pelaporan keluhan respirasi, sinergi manajemen & pekerja, 3) Regulator, pengawasan penggunaan herbisida terbatas dan ratifikasi konvensi Rotterdam 24 Februari 2004. Analysis of the dependent variable (respiration symptoms) and the independent variables (worker characteristics, work characteristics, exposure intensity, and respiratory prevention disorders) in paraquat sprayers in oil palm plantations in Kalimantan 2022. Methods-A cross-sectional quantitative study descriptive analytics of 189 worker respondents and 10 management respondents. Administered questionnaire instrument from August to October 2022. Analysis of bivariate relationship in Chi-Square 2x2, for p>0.25 the multivariate test was continued. Results-respiration symptoms (13.22%), cough (11.11%), coughing with phlegm (3.17%), shortness of breath (2.11%), asthma (1.05%). Multivariate analysis found that smoking habits had a risk of 4x (p 0.006), OR 4.12 (1.50-11.32)), employment status of permanent workers had a risk of 3x (p-value 0.022, OR 2.98 (1, 16-7.64)), and poor use of PPE has a risk of 4.77x (p 0.002, OR 4.77 (1.78 - 12.80)). No significant relationship between the prevention of respiratory and respiratory symptoms. Suggest-1) Workers-A healthy lifestyle, healthy work, smoking cessation programs, 2) Company-RAPKPIEK method on PKDTK, work environment inspections, fit to work programs, improve quality and quantity of use of PPE, reporting system, synergy between management & workers, 3) Regulators-Supervise the use of limited herbicides and ratify the Rotterdam convention 24 February 2004.
