Abstrak
Wilayah Jabodetabek sebagai kawasan metropolitan terbesar di Indonesia memiliki mobilitas komuter yang tinggi dengan dominasi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi, meskipun berbagai moda transportasi publik dan upaya integrasi sistem transportasi telah tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara jenis moda transportasi dengan tingkat stres dan keluhan kesehatan pada pekerja komuter di wilayah Jabodetabek menggunakan data Survei Komuter Jabodetabek tahun 2023. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara moda transportasi dengan tingkat stres (OR= 1,19; 95% CI: 1,05–1,35; p=0,005) dan keluhan kesehatan (OR=1,17; 95% CI: 1,01–1,35; p= 0,032). Namun, analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa moda transportasi tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan tingkat stres (aOR = 1,02; 95% CI: 0,89–1,17; p = 0,794) maupun keluhan kesehatan (aOR = 1,11; 95% CI: 0,95–1,29; p = 0,181) setelah mempertimbangkan variabel kovariat. Pada model stres, kenyamanan perjalanan bertindak sebagai confounder. Pada keluhan kesehatan, efek moda transportasi dipengaruhi oleh kenyamanan perjalanan serta faktor sosiodemografi termasuk usia, tingkat pendidikan, dan kondisi disabilitas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kesehatan komuter lebih ditentukan oleh pengalaman perjalanan dan karakteristik individu daripada pilihan moda transportasi. Oleh karena itu, upaya peningkatan penggunaan transportasi publik perlu diiringi dengan peningkatan kualitas layanan, khususnya pada aspek kenyamanan perjalanan.
The Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) metropolitan area, the largest in Indonesia, has a high level of commuter mobility with a predominance of private vehicle use, despite the availability of various public transport modes and ongoing efforts toward transport system integration. This study aims to analyze the association between mode of transport and levels of stress and health complaints among commuter workers in the Jabodetabek area using data from the 2023 Jabodetabek Commuter Survey. Bivariate analysis indicated an association between mode of transport and both stress levels (OR= 1,19; 95% CI: 1,05–1,35; p=0,005) and health complaints (OR=1,17; 95% CI: 1,01–1,35; p= 0,032).. However, further multivariable analysis showed that mode of transport was not significantly associated with stress (aOR = 1.02; 95% CI: 0.89–1.17; p = 0.794) or health complaints (aOR = 1.11; 95% CI: 0.95–1.29; p = 0.181) after adjusting for covariates. In the stress model, travel comfort acted as a confounding factor. In the health complaints model, the effect of mode of transport was influenced by travel comfort as well as sociodemographic factors, including age, education level, and disability status. These findings suggest that commuter health conditions are more strongly determined by travel experience and individual characteristics than by the choice of transport mode. Therefore, efforts to increase the use of public transport should be accompanied by improvements in service quality, particularly in terms of travel comfort.
