Infectious diseases pose a serious threat to global health. One of the infectious diseases with a high prevalence rate is acute respiratory infection (ARI). This study aims to describe and analyze the risk factors contributing to the risk level of ARI among manufacturing workers at PT XYZ in 2026 based on residential risk factors (kitchen location, industrial area, and occupant density), health behavior risk factors (smoking habits, physical activity habits, BMI, PPE usage, and motivation), workplace risk factors (working hours and tenure), healthcare system risk factors (knowledge regarding ARI and vaccination history), and genetic/health status risk factors (history of lung disease and history of allergies). This study is a cross-sectional study utilizing a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 125 questionnaire respondents selected through stratified sampling and analyzed using chi-square and Odds Ratio (OR). A total of 31.2% of workers have an acute respiratory infection. Descriptive analysis reveals a high proportion of workers in variable groups vulnerable to acute respiratory infections (ARI), such as indoor kitchen locations at 97.6%, abnormal body mass index at 54.4%, the habit of not wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at 76.8%, poor working environment conditions at 60%, overtime working hours at 80.8%, low level of knowledge regarding ARI at 30.4%, and a history of allergies at 21.6%. No risk factors were found to be associated with the incidence of ARI. Interventions include the management of communicable disease policy-making and smoke-free zones, education regarding clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS), as well as routine workplace cleanliness inspections.
