ABSTRAK Industri baja memiliki resiko yang tinggi terhadap kesehatan dan keselamatan karyawannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui iklim keselamatan di area rolling mill PT X dengan besar sampel 166 orang. Hasilnya dimensi iklim keselamatan yang paling kuat adalah dimensi individu (3,21), dengan faktor iklim keselamatan tertinggi adalah komitmen pekerja (3,28). Semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan, jabatan dan semakin lama orang bekerja maka semakin tinggi nilai iklim keselamatannya. Kata kunci: Safety Climate ABSTRACT The steel industry has a high risk to the health and safety of its employees. The purpose of this research is to know the safety climate in rolling mill area of PT X with a large sample of 166 people. The result of the most robust dimension of the safety climate is the individual dimension (3.21), with the highest safety climate factor being workers' commitment (3.28). The higher the level of education, position and the longer the people work the higher the safety climate. Key words: Safety Climate
