This study aims to determine the supervisor's perception of the effectiveness of controls in the form of Geotab which used to control the risk of being hit by a light vehicle. The research was conducted from February to June 2023 at Division X PT.X which is involved in the mining industry. The research is descriptive with a semi-qualitative model. Data collection was carried out through control effectiveness questionnaires, interviews, and document review. The variables studied included Geotab relevance, Geotab coverage, Geotab reliability, Geotab reactivity, resource competence for Geotab, and Geotab monitoring systems. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it is known that the supervisor's perception of the relevance variable has a score of 3.09 (appropriate), coverage with a score of 3.10 (appropriate), reliability with a score of 3.06 (appropriate), reactivity with a score of 2.99 (appropriate), competence resources with a score of (2.93), and control systems with a score of 2.95 (appropriate). Based on the results of interviews for relevance variables identified the keywords "appropriate" and "controllable behavior hazard", the coverage variable identified the keywords "light vehicle operating scenario", the reliability variable identified the keywords "all units are available", "functions well", " there are no indicators” and “there is a system error”, the reactivity variable is identified by the keywords “not yet able to give an immediate warning”, the resource competence variable is identified by the keywords “socialization at the beginning of implementation”, understanding is not a constraint”, and “already understands”, and monitoring system variable identified the keyword "supervision and evaluation is carried out from top to bottom". Meanwhile, based on the results of a review of the Planned Job Observation (PJO) data document, it is known that based on the 33 PJOs that were carried out in June 2023, all light vehicle units observed had Geotab installed. This study concludes that the variables of relevance, scope, resource competence, and control system are appropriate. However, the supervisor's perception of the reliability and reactivity variables is still quite appropriate.
