Kejadian henti jantung merupakan permasalahan besar bagi dunia kesehatan. Kejadian ini menjadi penyebab terbesar kematian di berbagai negara. Menurut data WHO (World Health Organization) tahun 2015, penyakit jantung merupakan penyebab kematian paling banyak di dunia. Berdasarkan uraian dalam rumusan masalah, dapat disusun pertanyaan penelitian sebagai berikut: Bagaimana kepuasan SDM di Balai Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha (BPSTW) di Unit Budi Luhur setelah mengikuti pelatihan Basic Life Support (BLS), Apakah pelatihan BLS efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan SDM BPSTW. Yang bertujuan untuk Mengetahui tingkat kepuasan SDM BPSTW di Unit Budi Luhur terhadap pelatihan BLS serta mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan BLS dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan SDM BPSTW di Unit Budi Luhur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan studi pre-experimental serta model pre-test dan post-test pada satu kelompok untuk melihat efektivitas pelatihan Basic Life Support (BLS). hasil penelitian yang telah di analisis dan dibahas mengenai efektivitas pelatihan BLS pada SDM di BPSTW Dinsos DIY, diperoleh beberapa kesimpulan penelitian meliputi: Penilaian efektivitas pelatihan BLS menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan BLS memiliki sikap yang positif dan puas terhadap pelatihan BLS yang diselenggarakan dengan menunjukkan rata-rata score hasil penilaian kepuasan adalah 4,24 (Puas) serta pelatihan yang dilakukan efektif karena menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan.
Cardiac arrest is a big problem for the world of health. This incident is the biggest cause of death in various countries. According to WHO (World Health Organization) data in 2015, heart disease is the most common cause of death in the world. Based on the description in the problem formulation, research questions can be formulated as follows: What is the satisfaction of human resources at the Tresna Werdha Social Service Center (BPSTW) in the Budi Luhur Unit after attending Basic Life Support (BLS) training? Is BLS training effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of BPSTW HR?. The aim is to determine the level of satisfaction of BPSTW HR in the Budi Luhur Unit with BLS training and to determine the effectiveness of BLS training in increasing the knowledge and skills of BPSTW HR in the Budi Luhur Unit. This research is a quantitative study using pre-experimental studies as well as pre-test and post-test models in one group to see the effectiveness of Basic Life Support (BLS) training. The results of research that have been analyzed and discussed regarding the effectiveness of BLS training for human resources at BPSTW Dinsos DIY, several research conclusions were obtained including: The assessment of the effectiveness of BLS training shows that BLS training participants have a positive attitude and are satisfied with the BLS training which is held by showing that the average score of the satisfaction assessment results is 4.24 (Satisfied) and the training carried out is effective because it shows an increase in scores before and after training.
