Tesis ini membahas mengenai Hubungan Peran Caregiver Informal Dengan Kualitas Hidup Lansia Di Wilayah Puskesmas Kampung Sawah Kota Tangerang Selatan Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan cross sectional yaitu jenis penelitian yang mengukur variabel independent (peran caregiver informal) dan variabel dependen (kualitas hidup lansia) secara simultan (bersamaan) dalam satu waktu. Peneliti mencoba untuk menggali ada tidaknya hubungan peran caregiver informal dengan kualitas hidup lansia di Wilayah Puskesmas Kampung Sawah Kota Tangerang Selatan Tahun 2024. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan peran caregiver informal dengan kualitas hidup, sedangkan variabel riwayat pekerjaan terdahulu merupakan variabel counfounder terhadap hubungan peran cargiver informal dengan kualitas hidup pada lansia. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menyarankan untuk meningkatkan jumlah caregiver dengan melakukan sosilisasi tentang pendampingan caregiver informal kepada pendamping lansia serta mengedukasi caregiver informal untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan lansia yang ada di posbindu serta meningkatkan interaksi dengan lansia melalui kegiatan bersama mendengarkan minat dan melibatkan lansia dalam kegiatan tersebut.
This thesis discusses the relationship between the role of informal caregivers and the quality of life of the elderly in the Kampung Sawah Community Health Center area, South Tangerang City in 2024. This research uses quantitative research with cross sectional research, namely a type of research that measures the independent variable (the role of the informal caregiver) and the dependent variable (the quality of life of the elderly ) simultaneously (simultaneously) at one time. Researchers tried to explore whether or not there was a relationship between the role of the informal caregiver and the quality of life of the elderly in the Kampung Sawah Community Health Center area, South Tangerang City in 2024.
