This study is aimed to identify the needs of reproductive health education onprapuberty school-age children in Serang City on 2014. This study usedqualitative method to 3 groups of informants; the 1st-4th grade students, the parentsand the teachers. The result shows that the needs of reproductive healthinformations for prapuberty school-age children were different for every grade.The main source of information about reproductive health for prapuberty schoolage children were parents and teachers. Meanwhile, the most favorite media inreproductive health education was the video or film, and the methods which canbe used in delivering the information about reproductive health were games for 1stand 2nd grade, discussion for 3rd and 4th grade.Keywords : needs, education, reproductive, prapuberty
Decreased birth rates for adolescent aged 15-19 years are the targets of the BKKBNStrategic Plan and the development of population and family planning in the 2020-2024National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), with a target of 25 per 1,000births by 2020 and targeted at 18 per 1,000 births in 2024. Birth rates for teenage girlsaged 15-19 years according to the 2017 IDHS are still high, namely 36 per 1,000women aged 15-19 years, and adolescent girls 15-19 years who have become mothersand or are pregnant with their first child increased from 8.5% in 2007 to 9.5% in 2012.This study aims to determine the factors associated with adolescent pregnancy. Thecross sectional study design, uses secondary data for the 2017 IDHS. The sample of thisstudy is adolescent girls aged 15-19 years who have had sexual relations in the 2017IDHS data. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship betweeneducation level, contraceptive use, access to health facilities and marital status withadolescent pregnancy. Variables that are jointly associated with adolescent pregnancyaged 15-19 years are marital status, exposure to family planning messages, access tohealth facilities and use of contraceptives. Marital status (OR = 12,105, 95% CI =6,449-22,720) is the most influential factor with adolescent pregnancy. The highproportion of adolescent pregnancies aged 15-19 years requires serious attention fromthe government and related parties in an effort to minimize the negative effects of teenpregnancy.Key words: adolescent pregnancy ; adolescent; 2017 IDHS.
Unmet need is a health problem in married adolescents. The existence of teenagers has dominated the population in the world. Based on the 2019 UNICEF report, the population of adolescents (aged 10-19 years) is 16% of the total world population. Indonesia is one of the countries experiencing population density problems, with a population equivalent to 3.5% of the total world population. Research with a cross sectional design, to find out the factors related to unmet need in Indonesia in 2017. The sample in this study was 626 women aged 15-19 years with 626 married status. The proportion of Unmet need for contraception in couple of reproductive age pregnancies of adolescent girls aged 15-19 years in the 2017 IDHS is 8.5%. The results of the calculation of the research modeling showed that the proportion of unmet need for contraception in female adolescent couple of reproductive age pregnancies was 10.4%, with the proportion in urban areas being 53.84% and in rural areas being 46.15%. Meningkatnya temuan kasus HIV-AIDS di Kabupaten Kuningan dari tahun ke tahun, menunjukkan bahwa perilaku seksual berisiko di Kabupaten Kuningan mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa belum dilakukannya upaya pencegahan penularan HIV-AIDS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui besarnya bentuk hubungan antara pengetahuan komprehensif HIV-AIDS terhadap perilaku seksual berisiko ditinjau dari aspek penularan dan pencegahan HIV-AIDS dan sikap terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah berisiko pada remaja di SMA Negeri I Garawangi Kabupaten Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif melalui pendekatan yang bersifat cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret - Mei 2013 di SMA Negeri I Garawangi Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat. Besar sampel yang diambil sebanyak 200 orang, pengumpulan data dilakukan sekaligus pada satu waktu secara bersamaan (point time approach) dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Jenis uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu pengujian statistic chi square dengan batas kepercayaan (α=0,05); dengan estimasi confidential interval/tingkat kepercayaan (CI) 95%. Hasil uji statistik hubungan antara pengetahuan komprehensif HIV-AIDS dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja, diperoleh nilai p = 0,755 maka dapat disimpulkan tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan komprehensif HIV-AIDS dengan perilaku seksual remaja. Hasil uji statistik hubungan antara sikap dengan perilaku seksual remaja diperoleh nilai p= 0,019 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap dengan perilaku seksual remaja.
The findings of increasing cases of HIV-AIDS in Kuningan district from year to year, suggesting that sexual risk behavior in Kuningan has increased. This increase suggests that prevention efforts of HIV-AIDS have not done. The purpose of this study, to determine the relationship between comprehensive knowledge of HIV-AIDS to adolescent sexual behavior in terms of aspects of transmission and prevention of HIV-AIDS and attitudes toward adolescents premarital sexual behavior in SMA Negeri I Garawangi Kuningan. This study uses descriptive research method through a cross sectional approach, was conducted in March-May 2013 in the SMA Negeri I Garawangi Kuningan regency of West Java. Samples taken by 200 respondents, as well as the data collection is done at the same time (time point approach) by using a questionnaire,. with sampling techniques using simple random sampling. Type of statistical test used is the chi square test with statistical confidence limits (α = 0.05), with an estimated confidential interval / confidence level (CI) 95%. Results of statistical tests the relationship between comprehensive knowledge of HIV-AIDS with adolescent premarital sexual behavior, the value of p = 0.755, it can be concluded there is no significant relationship between a comprehensive knowledge of HIV-AIDS with. Results of statistical tests the relationship between attitudes to adolescent premarital sexual behavior obtained p value = 0.019, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between attitudes and adolescent premarital sexual behavior.
