Abstrak:
VO2max sebagai salah satu indikator kebugaran kardiorespiratori, yang merupakan kemampuan tubuh untuk menyerap oksigen secara maksimal selama beraktivitas, dimana nilai tersebut dapat menentukan kebugaran dan performa sesorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan nilai estimasi VO2max yang meliputi jenis kelamin, aktivitas fisik, status gizi dan asupan gizi pada atlet softball nasional tahun 2014. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional, pada 77 atlet softball nasional di bulan Maret-April 2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui 20-m shuttle run test, pengisian kuesioner GPAQ (Global Physical Activity Questionnaire), pengukuran berat badan, tinggi badan, persen lemak tubuh, dan food recall 2x24 jam. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji kolerasi dan uji t-independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata nilai estimasi VO2max sebesar 33,95 ml/kg/menit. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara indeks masa tubuh, persen lemak tubuh, asupan energi, asupan protein, asupan karbohidrat, dan asupan magnesium dengan nilai estimasi VO2max. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diharapkan para atlet dapat mengetahui kemampuan daya tahan maksimal individu dan faktor yang berhubungan sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai VO2max agar dapat memberikan performa yang maksimal.

Abstrak:
Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan nilai VO2max,aktivitas fisik, status gizi (IMT) dan asupan gizi (energi, karbohidrat, protein danlemak) antara kelompok pesepeda dan bukan pesepeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain ecological study. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2013 pada komunitas Bike to Work (B2W) Indonesia dan mahasiswa FKM UI angkatan 2009 dan 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan proporsi nilai VO2 max pada secara signifikan antara kelompok pesepeda dan bukan pesepeda (p= 0,028). Rata-rata skor aktivitas fisik lebih tinggi secara bermakna pada kelompok pesepeda (p= 0,001). Kedua kelompok disarankan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas fisik agar dapat memelihara daya tahan kardiorespiratori.

Abstrak:
Masalah overfat dan obesitas merupakan masalah gizi yang sedang dihadapai dunia, baik negara maju maupun negara berkembang. Pada penari, persen lemak tubuh merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus diperhatikan karena akan mempengaruhi performa dan nilai estetika saat tampil. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai faktor yang berkaitan dengan kejadian persen lemak tubuh tinggi pada mahasiswi penari RIK UI tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari penelitian mengenai kebugaran fleksibilitas pada mahasiswi. Desain yang digunakan adalah studi crosssectional, dengan sampel sejumlah 128 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 25,80% mahasiswi penari RIK UI tergolong kedalam persen lemak tubuh tinggi. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan proporsi yang bermakna persen lemak tubuh berdasarkan asupan energi, asupan karbohidrat, asupan protein, asupan lemak, aktivitas fisik, dan kualitas tiduri. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan hubungan yang positif antara faktor risiko dengan kasus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis menyarankan agar dilakukan penyuluhan gizi seimbang untuk penari agar enari dapat mengontrol asupannya secara mandiri, dan juga peningkatan asupan serat untuk membantu mengontrol nafsu makan dan menurunkan persen lemak tubuh. In dancers, body fat percentage is one of important aspect because it will affect the performance and aesthetic value when performing. This study discusses the factors related to the incidence of high body fat percentage in RIK UI dancers in 2019. This study uses secondary data from research on flexibility fitness for female college students. The design used was a cross-sectional study, with a sample of 128 respondents. The results of this study indicate that as many as 25.80% of RIK UI dancers are classified as high body fat percentage. No significant difference was found between energy intake, carbohydrate intake, protein intake, fat intake, physical activity, and sleep quality with a high percent high body fat percentage incidence. Nevertheless, a positive relationship was found between risk factors and cases. Based on the results of the study, the authors suggest that balanced nutrition counseling be carried out for dancers so that dancers can control their intake independently, and also increase fiber intake to help control appetite and reduce body fat percentage. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain ecological study. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret - April 2013 di Vihara Adi Dharma, Vihara Ajita, dan Wisma Sahabat Yesus. Pengambilan data estimasi nilai VO2max dengan metode Queen College Step Test, asupan gizi dengan food recall 2x24 jam, status gizi dengan antropometri, dan aktivitas fisik dengan kuesioner GPAQ. Data diolah dengan uji t independen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan bermakna nilai VO2max, asupan energi, karbohidrat, lemak, vitamin C, dan zat besi, status gizi (IMT dan persen lemak tubuh), dan aktivitas fisik. Rata-rata asupan kelompok non-vegetarian lebih tinggi secara bermakna untuk asupan protein (p=0,00021). Kedua kelompok disarankan untuk rutin melakukan tes kebugaran kardiovaskular. Pada kelompok vegetarian disarankan untuk meningkatkan asupan protein nabati.

Abstrak:
Kebugaran merupakan kemampuan seseorang untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik sehari-hari tanpa merasakan kelelahan yang berlebihan. Kebugaran dapat dinilai dari Nilai VO2max yaitu tingkat maksimum dimana oksigen dapat dimanfaatkan oleh tubuh selama aktivitas maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui beberapa faktor yang berhubungan dengan nilai VO2max (kebugaran) yang diukur menggunakan Queen?s College Step Test. Desain studi penelitian ini adalah cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 156 siswa laki-laki kelas X, XI, dan XII di SMAN 7 Mataram. Variabel dependen dari penelitian ini yaitu nilai VO2max dan variabel independen terdiri dari status gizi (IMT), aktivitas fisik, frekuensi asupan gizi makro, konsumsi sumber kafein, kualitas tidur, tingkat stress, perilaku merokok, dan COVID-19. Status kebugaran didapatkan melalui klasifikasi nilai VO2max yang selanjutnya dibagi menjadi kategori tidak bugar dan bugar, status gizi diukur menggunakan antropometri, aktivitas fisik diukur menggunakan International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), frekuensi asupan gizi makro diukur menggunakan Food Frequenty Questionnaire (FFQ), konsumsi sumber kafein diukur menggunakan kuesioner, kualitas tidur diukur menggunakan Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), tingkat stres diukur menggunakan Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), dan perilaku merokok serta COVID-19 diukur menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 34,6% siswa yang tidak bugar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kebugaran berdasarkan nilai VO2max dengan IMT (p-value = 0,012), dan perilaku merokok (p-value = 0,037). Peneliti menyarankan agar siswa tetap mempertahankan kebugaran dengan meningkatkan aktivitas fisik terutama untuk menjaga kesehatan selama pandemi.

Pengukuran VO2max secara langsung memang menghasilkan data yang akurat dan dapat dipercaya tetapi umumnya memerlukan waktu lebih banyak, peralatan yang mahal serta tenaga pelaksana terlatih. Penelitian sebelumnya telah berhasil mengembangkan model prediksi khusus untuk anak-anak dari etnis Jawa berdasarkan jenis kelamin, denyut nadi dan waktu tempuh berjalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi yang cocok bagi kelompok usia remaja dengan prediktor jenis kelamin, status gizi (IMT/U dan PLT), aktivitas fisik dan asupan gizi. Penelitian dilakukan pada 78 remaja laki-laki dan 114 remaja perempuan dengan rata-rata usia 16,19±0,5 tahun. Nilai estimasi VO2max diukur berdasarkan tes lari 1 mil, jenis kelamin, IMT/U ditentukan berdasarkan pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, PLT diukur dengan BIA, aktivitas fisik diketahui melalui pengisian kuesioner, dan asupan gizi dihitung dengan menggunakan metode food record 3 hari. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara jenis kelamin, IMT/U, persen lemak tubuh, aktivitas fisik, seluruh asupan zat gizi makro (energi, karbohidrat, protein, lemak) dan beberapa asupan zat gizi mikro (vitamin B2, vitamin B6 dan seng) dengan nilai estimasi VO2max. Model prediksi non latihan dibentuk melalui analisis multi regresi linier VO2max= 40,7 + 3,1 JK - 2,5 IMT/U - 0,08 PLT + 0,4 AF - 0,004 P + 0,001 A - 1,76 B6 - 0,2 B12 + 0,5 Zn. Untuk meningkatkan nilai VO2max pada remaja, sekolah direkomendasikan untuk mengimplementasikan program TOP yang kegiatannya berfok us pada kegiatan pengendalian berat badan, peningkatan aktivitas fisik, dan promosi asupan yang bergizi seimbang.
ABSTRACT
A direct measurement on maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) provides accurate and reliable data but requires more time, costly aquipment and trained personnel. Previous research has developed a VO2max prediction model special for Javanese children using sex, heart rate and walk time. The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of gender, nutritional status (body mass index for age and percent fat), physical activity level, and dietary intake in another VO2max prediction model for adolescent. The design study was a cross sectional one. Subjects were 78 male and 114 female wih a mean age of 16,19±0,5 years. Estimated VO2max was measured from one mile run test; sex; BMI for age was calculated from measured height and weight, percent fat was assessed by BIA, self report physical activity was assessed by PAQ-A and 3 day food records were used to calculate the average dietary intake. Male students (42,45 ml/kg/min) had significantly higher estimated VO2max than female (38,74 ml/kg/min). There were significant correlations between sex, BMI for age, percent fat, physical activity, all macronutrient intake (energi, carbohydrat, protein, and fat) and some micronutrient intake (vitamin B2, vitamin B6 and zinc) with estimated VO2max. The non-exercise prediction model was developed by a multiple regression analysis: VO2max= 40,7+3,1 JK-2,5 IMT/U-0,08 PLT + 0,4 AF-0,004 P + 0,001 A-1,76 B6-0,2 B12+0,5 Zn. In order to improve adolescent?s VO2max, school was recomended to implement TOP program focused on weight management, increased physical activity and promoted adequate dietary intake.
