Hospital is a health facility that organizes health service activities. Apart from having a positive impact, hospitals also have a negative impact, namely the presence of waste generated from hospital activities, which if not handled properly will have an impact on public health and the environment. In March 2020 there was a non-natural disaster from the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia which caused the production of solid medical waste in hospitals to increase significantly, thus requiring an increase in its management capacity in terms of quantity and quality. Dr. Rumkital Mintohardjo as one of the covid19 referral hospitals has implemented waste management even though it is not optimal. This study aims to analyze the management of solid hazardous and toxic (B3) waste through a systems approach at Dr. Rumkital. Mintohardjo. This type of research is observational, which describes the B3 solid waste management system starting from the input, process, and output to find out the problems that exist in the hazardous solid waste management system at Dr. Rumkital. Mintohardjo. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from in-depth interviews and direct observations, while secondary data were obtained from reviewing existing documents. The problem at the input stage is the lack of officers in the environmental health department, while at the process stage the problem lies in the implementation procedure for B3 solid waste management which is still not optimal (not in accordance with the established standards) and the capacity of the incinerator machine which is not proportional to the amount of B3 waste generation. solid. At the output stage, it is expected that all solid hazardous waste generation will be managed properly. Because there are problems in the management of B3 solid waste, it is necessary to improve the management of B3 solid waste and regular management evaluations in order to create a healthy hospital environment
Background: During the current COVID-19 pandemic, the use of personal protective equipment is the best way to minimize infection risk. Although the benefits have been proven, compliance with the use of PPE still encounters obstacles. The aims of this study is to determine the compliance of nurses in wearing PPE in the COVID-19 inpatient room. Method: This research is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional design with research instruments are questionnaires and observation forms. There are109 nurse where selected based on the total sample who served in P. Selayar, P. Pagai, P. Tarempa, P. Sangeang, P. Numfor, P. Sibatik wards. Data were collected using a questionnaire share via a Google Form link and observation checklist form that is guided by the applicable SOP. Bivariate analysis used Independent T-test and Correlation test. Multivariate analysis of research variables in the form of ordinal and interval tested using Multivariable Linear Regression. by the Data analysis using Linear Regression test. Results and Conclusions: Nurses' compliance in wearing PPE needs to be improved in hand-hygiene activities. Good knowledge and positive attitudes are shown by most of the nurses in the COVID-19 inpatient room. Recomendation: Raise nurses' awareness of HH performance between activities when doffing PPE. Develop training/socialization through digital media such as making teaching videos. Provide availability of PPE for all size. Optimizing the role of IPCLN in the ward.
Pada era transisi otonomi yang sedang terjadi pada saat ini, perusahaan-perusahaan termasuk organisasi rumah sakit di Indonesia juga mengalami tantangan yang cukup besar. Rumah Sakit pemerintah perlu melakukan berbagai perubahan untuk menyesuaikan organisasinya sehingga dapat bertahan hidup dan bersaing.Beban pembiayaan pelayanan kesehatan khususnya rumah sakit semakin meningkat dengan adanya krisis ekonomi. Rumah sakit harus mencari peluang untuk meningkatkan penerimaan dari masyarakat golongan ekonomi atas. Salah satu jalan keluar dengan mengembangkan perencanaan strategik ruang paviliun RSUD.Prof.DR.WZ.Johanes Kupang yang merupakan tempat pelayanan rawat inap bagi pasien mampu. Oleh karena itu diperlukan analisis strategi pengembangan di instalasi tersebut.Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pengamatan langsung, pengumpulan data sekunder, mengadakan wawancara mendalam dan Consensus Decision Making Group (CDMG). Analisis penelitan dilakukan terhadap faktor-faktor eksternal dan internal yang mempengaruhi ruang paviliun dengan menggunakan alat formulasi strategi berupa matrik Internal-Eksternal, dan matrik BCG.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa matrik IE berada pada kuadran V (Hold & Maintain) dan Matrik BCG pada kuadran Stars serta Matching alternatif strategi yang dianjurkan ke dua matrik menunjukkan strategi penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk.Perumusan strategi pengembangan terhadap ruang paviliun RSUD Prof.DR.WZ. Johannes Kupang didapatkan dengan matrik QSPM yaitu pengembangan poduk.
Analyze of Situation on Determining Strategic Development in Overnight Paviliun Instalation at RSUD.Prof.DR.WZ.Johannes Kupang, 2001At the moment, mostly companies including hospitals in Indonesia have to face a great challenge. Government hospital need to make changes so that can survive and competitive.The cost of health care especially hospitals have increased due to the current economic crisis. Hospitals have to get a chance to increase the revenue from more affordable patient. One of the solutions is to develop strategic planning for Paviliun room at RSUD Prof.DR.WZ.Johanes which its target market is for more affordable patient. Hence we need to analyze develop strategic for those installation.This research done by direct research, collected secondary data, interview, Consensus Decision Making Group (CDMG). Analyzing external and internal factor of paviliun room using strategic formulation such as Internal-External matrix and BCG matrix.The result has shown us that the hospital position using IE matrix is on quadrant V (Hold & Maintain) and by Matrix BCG is at Stars and the result of matching alternative strategic for both matrix is market penetration and development product.Strategic formulation for development of overnight Paviliun instalation RSUD Prof DR WZ Johannes Kupang QSPM matrix is product development.
Salah satu pelayanan penunjang medik yang terpenting dalam proses pelayanan pasien adalah pelayanan farmasi, yang merupakan salah satu komponen biaya operasional yang besar dari seluruh biaya operasional rumah sakit, sehingga harus dikelola dengan efisien agar rumah sakit tidak mengalami kerugian. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan melakukan pengawasan dan pengendalian.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapat gambaran bagaimana pelaksanaan pengawasan dan pengendalian perbekalan farmasi di Departemen Farmasi RSAL Dr.Mintohardjo Jakarta.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan content analysis, dengan menggali data dan informasi dari berbagai informan sebagai data primer, serta dokumen yang terkait sebagai data sekunder, untuk validasi data dilakukan triangulasi sumber dan metode.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pelaksanaan pengawasan dan pengendalian perbekalan farmasi belum berjalan dengan optimal, hal ini disebabkan karena sarana pengawasan dan pengendalian (Organisasi, Kebijakan, Perencanaan, Prosedur, pencatatan dan pelaporan) yang diperlukan belum memadai. Selain itu juga disebabkan belum adanya Pemeriksa Intern.Untuk memecahkan masalah penulis mengusulkan mengubah struktur organisasi dengan meletakkan Departemen Farmasi dibawah wewenang dan tanggung jawab Wakabin sebagai pengendali angggaran, membuat job description, sampai ke tingkat pelaksana, membentuk Tim pembelian dan Tim penerimaan agar ada pemisahan fungsi, membuat kebijakan 1 peraturan 1 prosedur tetap yang mengatur pelaksanaan pengelolaan bekal farmasi, membuat rencana pengadaan dan distribusi, membentuk KFT untuk mengawasi kelompok profesi, membentuk satuan pengawas intern sebagai alat bagi pimpinan untuk melaksanakan pengawasan dan pengendalian perbekalan farmasi, merekap isi resep sehingga dapat dipakai sebagai dasar perencanaan kebutuhan dan anggaran, serta memonitor pemakaian bekal farmasi oleh ruangan melalui pencatatan dan pelaporan, menggunakan sistem komputerisasi sebagai sarana dalam kegiatan pengelolaan pebekalan farmasi agar lebih efisien dan efektif.Daftar bacaan : 26 (1982 - 2002 )
One of the most important medical support services in relation to patient services is the pharmacy service, which is one of the largest components of a hospital's operational budget. Pharmacy services must be managed efficiently to prevent any financial losses to the hospital. One method to ensure this is to conduct supervision and control.The objective of this research was to obtain an illustration on how the Pharmacy Department of RSAL Dr. Mintohardjo Jakarta conducted supervision and control of pharmaceutical supply.This research utilized the qualitative method with content analysis gathered from various sources as primary data and other related documents as secondary data. Data validation was done using triangulation between source and method.The research revealed that the supervision and control of the pharmacy supply was not conducted optimally due to the lack of provisions for supervision and control (organizational, policy, planning, procedural, recording and reporting). Besides that, the absence of an internal audit was also another reason why supervision and control of the pharmacceutical supply had not been carried out optimally.This research proposed to change in the organizational structure by placing the Pharmacy Department under the authority and responsibility of the deputy director for development as the budget controller; to drafti job descriptions until the operational levels, to form of a separate purchasing team and a receiving team in order to separate their functions; to develop policies/regulations/procedures that will regulate the management of pharmacy supply; to plan supply and distribution; to build a Pharmacy and Therapy Committee to supervise professional groups, and an internal auditor as a means for the director to conduct supervision and control of pharmacy supply; to recapitulate of medical prescriptions as the basis for the planning of demand and budget, to monitor the use of pharmacy supplies by users through record keeping and reporting, to implement a computerized information system to ensure a more efficient and effective management of pharmacy supply.List of references: 26 (1982 - 2002)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja dokter di poliklinik rawat jalan Rumah Sakit Angkatan Laut Dr. Mintohardjo, yang dilakukan terhadap seluruh dokter sebagai responden, menggunakan kuesioner penelitian dengan analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan disain cross sectional. Penilaian kinerja dokter dilakukan oleh pasien yang meliputi perilaku, kehadiran dan komunikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja dokter di poliklinik rawat jalan Rumkital Dr. Mintohardjo Jakarta adalah faktor psikologis (kepuasan kerja), faktor organisasi (kepemimpinan) dan faktor organisasi (budaya organisasi).
The research aims to find out the factors that relate to the performance of doctors in outpatient polyclinics Naval Hospital Dr. Mintohardjo, with the respondents of all doctors, using the questionnaire, analysis of univariate and bivariate by cross sectional design. Performance appraisal of doctor was performed by patients, which covers the behavior, presence and communication. The result showed that factors that influence the performance of doctors in outpatient polyclinic Naval Hospital Dr. Mintohardjo Jakarta are psychological factor (satisfaction work), the organization factor (leadership) and the organization factor (organization culture).
