The high rate of nurse turnover > 10% at Prikasih hospital causes a variety ofproblems, increased operating cost, disruption operations and raising moral issuesin nurse who stay, This research is a quantitative analytical research aiming todescribe the types of organizational culture (clan, adhocracy, market, hierarchy)and organizational commitment (affective, normative, continuance). The researchalso aims to illustrate the relations between the different types of organizationalculture and organizational commitment, and the association with turnoverintention at Prikasih hospital as well as to identify the most dominant factor ofrelations. The research uses cross-sectional method with 102 nurses asrespondents, using questionnaires. The result correlation and regresion analysisshows that there is correlation between organizational culture (clan, market,hierarchy), organizational commitment (affective, normative, continuance) withturnover intention. Affective commitment exhibits as the most dominant variablein relation to turnover intention.Keyword : nurse, organizational culture, organizational commitment, turnoverintention
Tesis ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan komponen-komponen quality of work life dengan turnover intention perawat dan bidan pelaksana Rumah Sakit Tugu Ibu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif secara cross-sectional pada 143 perawat dan bidan pelaksana. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat dengan uji statistik menggunakan chi-square dan regresi logistik menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Pemodelan multivariat dengan menggunakan metode enter.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kontribusi variabel-variabel quality of work life terhadap turnover intention perawat dan bidan pelaksana. Saran untuk Rumah Sakit Tugu Ibu berdasarkan hasil penelitian adalah memperkuat rasa bangga terhadap institusi, menerapkan program manajemen risiko klinis, mempertahankan kekeluargaan dan toleransi dalam komunikasi organisasi, memberikan kompensasi yang seimbang sesuai model jenjang karir perawat klinis menurut Depkes RI, mempertahankan fasilitas refreshing, meningkatkan pengelolaan sistem jaminan kesehatan dan pensiun, serta meningkatkan dan mengevaluasi kepuasan kerja.
The aim of this study is to analyse the correlation between the components of quality of work life with the nurse and midwives turnover intention at Tugu Ibu Hospital. Quantitative Cross-Sectional methods was used on 143 nurses and midwives sample. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate data analyses were used using Chi-Square and regression logistic statistical test with SPSS version 20. Enter method was assessed for multivariate modeling.
The result shows that there are contributions from quality of work life variables to nurse and midwife turnover intention. Suggests we give for Tugu Ibu Hospital based on the thesis result are strengthening the sense of pride in the institution, implementing clinical risk management program, maintain sense of kinship and tolerance in communication, balance compensation based on Depkes RI nurse career path, maintain refreshing facility, improve the management of health insurance and pension, improve and evaluate job satisfaction regularly.
Goals Hospitals in providing public health services should be able to maintain quality of services. One of the government's efforts to improve the quality of home services through accreditation, which is compulsory and required by government regulation. This study focus on two goals of Prima Medika Hospital in preparation of KARS 2012 accreditation: International Patient Safety Goals and Millennium Development Goals. The purpose of this study is to determine the stages, problems and monitoring in the preparation process of accreditation on the patient's safety goals and the Millennium Development Goals. This research uses qualitative method by involving 7 participants working group of accreditation. Data collected by in-depth interview technique and document tracing, then analyzed using content analysis. The results of the interviews show that the preparation phase begins with the commitment of all hospitals, the accreditation working group established by the director, the compilation of documents of the assessment elements according to the accreditation standards, program dissemination to medical and non-medical staff, then the implementation. The next stage are monitoring and evaluation, through monev report, quality indicator and field inspection. In conclusions, the very important stages in preparation process are: commitment from all level of hospital, approaches to the specialist doctors formally or informally, more internal training. Acute pain usually caused by postoperative pain. Effective pain management is afundamental component to serve a quality service to the patient. There is noStandard operating procedure in pain management in Prima Medika Hospital. Theaim of this study is to measure the intensity of pain in postoperative patient in thishospital, to arrange a standard operating procedure for postoperative painmanagement to serve a quality and safe service to the patient. This is a qualitativedescriptive study where data were collect by observed pain intensity in postlaparotomy patient, in-depth interviews with the informans and revieweddocuments. Result show that pain intensity in 24 hours after surgery were mild,and in 48 hours the pain intensity were mild to moderate with no proper protocol.A standard operatimg procedure is needed to give the best pain management tothe patientKeyword : postoperative pain, SOP
