Previous research stated that the quality of the environment is influenced by several factors such as health, environment, politics, economy and other factors. Indonesia uses the term Environmental Quality Index (IKLH), which is an initial description or indication that provides a quick conclusion of an environmental condition in a certain scope and period. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) in Indonesia in 2017-2019. The study design used is an ecological study based on time with a provincial unit of analysis. The population and sample of this study were all provinces in Indonesia, which amounted to 34 provinces. Research data sources come from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of statistical tests show a significant relationship between population density, HDI and land transportation with IKLH (p <0,05) with r values 0,794; 0,529 and 0,666 (2017); -0,801; -0,539 and -0,729 (2018) and -0,824; -0,583 and -0,741 (2019). Population Density and Land Transportation have an influence on IKLH and the biggest influence is Population Density. The central and local governments are expected to re-invigorate population control programs and develop cheap, environmentally friendly and adequate public transportation
Central Bureau of Statistics (2013) show that during the year 2010 to 2013the rate of growth of the labor force in Indonesia increased. It encourages diversityjob opening, one of the automotive industry. Sectors of the automotive industry, alarge enough role in providing air pollution exposure due to the amount contained inthe working area. Several studies have shown that the workshop workers are at riskfor various types of health problems.This study aimed to determine the risk factors for health problems in workersseen from Physical Work Environment and Characteristics of Work at CentralWorkshop and Parts Margonda Depok 2014. The design of the study is Crosssectional with Accidental Sampling method. The data collection was done bymeasurement of PM10, temperature, and humidity at 7 points, observation andinterviews with stall condition questionnaire for job characteristics and types ofhealth problems.The analysis showed that 55,0% of workers in Central Workshop and PartsMargonda Depok had risk for health problems with most types of health problemsexperienced by workers are respiratory problems (74,2%). The highest risk factorsignificantly associated with the health problems of workers in the region of PM10concentrations (OR = 4,24) and a stall condition (OR = 3,77). It needs to make apolicies to protect the health of workers in Central Workshop and PartsMargonda Depok.Keywords :Health Disorders, Physical Work Environment, Worker, Motor Vehicle Repair Shop
Abstrak
Kebisingan adalah bunyi yang tidak dikehendaki dan dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan, salah satunya dapat mengakibatkan kenaikan tekanan darah dan apabila terjadi terus menerus akan berakibat pada hipertensi. Hipertensi adalah salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi masalah kesehatan yang serius saat ini, dimana 27,5% penduduk di Indondesia menderita hipertensi. Kasus hipertensi di DKI Jakarta terbanyak terdapat di Wilayah Jakarta Timur yaitu 75.099 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan tekanan darah sesudah kerja pada pekerja di PT. Sanggar Sarana Baja Tahun 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 196 orang.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara umur (5,97; 3,03–11,76) dan kebiasaan merokok (5,85; 2,91–11,77) dengan kejadian peningkatan tekanan darah. Besar risiko yang dialami oleh pekerja yang berumur > 40 tahun dan memiliki kebiasaan merokok dalam satu hari > 2 batang untuk mengalami kejadian peningkatan tekanan darah adalah 7,87 kali dibandingkan dengan pekerja yang berumur ≤ 40 tahun dan memiliki kebiasaan merokok dalam satu hari ≤ 2 batang.
Noise is unwanted sound and can cause health problems, one of which can result in increased blood pressure and the event will continue to result in hypertension. Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases are a serious health problem today, where 27,5% of the population suffers from hypertension in Indondesia. Cases of hypertension in Jakarta are the highest in the East Jakarta District 75.099 cases. This study aims to analyze the risk factors associated with increased blood pressure after work on workers at PT. Sanggar Sarana Baja in 2013. This study uses cross-sectional design with a sample of 196 people.
The results showed a significant relationship between age (5,97; 3,03-11,76) and smoking (5,85; 2,91-11,77) with an increased incidence of blood pressure. Major risks faced by workers aged > 40 years and have a habit of smoking in one day > 2 sticks to experience an increased incidence of blood pressure was 7,87 times compared with workers aged ≤ 40 years and has a habit of smoking in one day ≤ 2 sticks.

Industry of tofu is one of the industries that generate large amounts of liquid wasteand liquid waste is generally disposed of the river. This study is an observationalstudy using primary data sampling tofu liquid waste to be analyzed as well asquestionnaires about the health of the community in the environtment industry oftofu. Based on the analysis of the quality of the effluent wastewater the value ofhigh BOD and COD and wastewater treatment systems by providing chlorine hasno effectiveness against reduction of BOD and COD. Skin irritation and itching isa disease that affects the local community ever. Complaints disease experiencedpeople could not be ascertained due to the presence of effluent because there is noresearch that states that wastewater of tofu effect public health aspects around theplant, other disorders are disorders of the stench caused by the liquid waste.Provision of chlorine with the amount of wastewater generated can not provideeffectiveness in the treatment of wastewater. The conclusion is we need forwastewater treatment system in a way coagulant / flocculation and regularmonitoring of the wastewater plant out.
