Indonesia is the country with the most population in 10 years in Southeast Asia. In discussions arising from the issue of hearing rate (LPP), the government prepared a family planning program and one of the targets of the family planning program was adolescents. The research objective was to determine the relationship between the needs of family planning services for unmarried adolescents with the intention to use contraception in adulthood.This research is quantitative analytic with cross sectional approach. The questionnaire used by Adolescent Men (RP) and Women of Fertile Age (WUS). The population in this study were all unmarried adolescents in Indonesia. The sample was 18,464 respondents. The results show the proportion of adolescents who intend to use contraception in the future (82.6%). Chi square test results show a relationship between the need for family planning services for unmarried adolescents with the intention to use contraception in adulthood. The result of multivariate analysis shows that there is a relationship between the need for family planning services for unmarried adolescents with the intention to use contraception in adulthood after being controlled for confounding variables. Conclusion Unmarried male adolescents who do not need family planning services, aged 15-19 years, are not exposed to mass media, have knowledge of <4 methods / methods of family planning tend not to intend to use contraception in adulthood. Collaboration between the scientific field and the BKKBN is needed in making a Health Promotion strategy regarding family planning services that is in accordance with the needs of unmarried adolescents.
Hasil regresi logistik ganda menunjukkan bahwa aspek sistem yang paling dominan berhubungan dengan perilaku seks pranikah adalah sikap yaitu remaja yang bersikap positif terhadap seks pranikah berisiko 15,7 kali untuk melakukan seks pranikah dibandingkan remaja yang memiliki sikap negatif setelah dikontrol oleh pencapaian akademik pendidikan, advokasi personal, membicarakan pubertas dan peran teman (OR=15.7; 95%CI: 12.1- 20.2). Diperlukan strategi komunikasi dan intervensi promosi kesehatan remaja berdasarkan klasifikasi generasi menurut era kemajuan teknologi digital
Salah satu masalah kependudukan utama yang dihadapi Indonesia adalah pertumbuhan penduduk yang tinggi, hingga saat ini telah dilakukan berbagai usaha untuk mengendalikan pertumbuhan penduudk, terutama melalui pengendalian angka kelahiran atau fertilitas. Upaya penurunan angka kelahiran ini dilakukan dengan cara pemakaian kontrasepsi kepada pasangan usia subur. Kabupaten Bogor juga mengalami hal yang sama, belum semua PUS memanfaatkan pelayanan KB. Kecamatan Ciseeng untuk cakupan unmet need KB belum memenuhi SPM (5%). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktore predisposisi, pemungkin, kebutuhan dan penguat terhadap pemanfaatan pelayanan keluarga berencana. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan studi cross sectional. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer, diperoleh dengan cara wawancara terhadap WUS yang berstatus menikah. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa umur, pekerjaan, akses dan kebutuhan berhubungan secara signifikan dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan KB. Kebutuhan akan pelayanan KB merupakan variabel yang paling dominan.
One of the main demography issues in Indonesia is a higher growth rate of population. Nowadays, there are any efforts to control the growth rate of the population through the controk of birth rate or fertility by using contraception involuntary by the fertile spouse. Bogor regency also experience the same thing, not all of the PUS use services of KB. Ciseeng subdistrict for unmet need coverage KB has not met the SPM (5%). The purpose of this research was to know relationship factors predisposing, needs and booster of the utilization of family planning services. this research is quantitative with cross sectional study. The Data collected is primary data, obtained by means of interviews to the WUS are married. Resultes of the study explained that the age, occupation, access and requirements associated with the utilization of service significantly KB. The need for services is the most variable KB is dominant.
The proportion of sexual behavior of female adolescent 15-19 years was 0,9% and 20-24 years was 2,6%. Meanwhile, male adolescent 15-19 years old was 3,6% and 20-24 years old was 14%. The enabling factor related to behavior is the information media. The purpose of the study was to prove the relationship between exposure to reproductive health information and adolescent sexual behavior with a Cross Sectional using the 2017 IDHS data. A total of 23.351 respondents were exposed to television (97,2%), print media (56,1%), and radio (50,1%). The most exposure to reproductive health information was HIV AIDS, STIs, condom advertisements, and information on all three. As many as 6.6% have had sexual behavior. The results of logistic regression on print media (p-value 0,001; POR 0,6), radio (p-value 0,001; POR 0,460), and television (p-value 0,001; POR 0,767). Gender was an interaction variable on print media (POR 15,784 on female; POR 1,822 on male) and radio (POR 48,72 on female; POR 1,584 on male). Suggestions for the government, to provide male adolescents with material on the impact of sexual intercourse from a male perspective, are expected to be more effective in preventing sexual behavior and to reach expanding of reproductive health information from the mass media with cross-sectoral collaboration. The government or academics can formulate longitudinal research on adolescent health and examine the effects of media on changes in social behavior using the Use and Gratifications Theory of media effects
Background: COVID-19 is a new contagious disease that was emerging in December 2019 and became a pandemic in 2020. Both morbidity and mortality rates have hit worldwide due to this disease. Health workers as the frontliner had to protect public from the COVID-19 infection. This study used Health Belief Model framework. Objective: To analyze the prevention behavior of COVID-19 among health workers at health centers, during the pandemic in Indonesia in 2020. Method: This study using cross-sectional approach on secondary data of the Association of Indonesian Public Health Educators and Educators (PPPKMI) 2020 in June 2020 survey. Selected variables consist of modification factors, perceived threats, perceived barriers, and cues to action. Whereas dependent variable wass the COVID-19 Prevention Behavior in Health Workers at the Puskesmas. Results: The total sample used was 651 respondents consist of 82% female, 20-29 years old, 54.3% civil servants and 66.2% working area in Java. The average of practicing preventive behavior was 97,75 points with the proportion of actions taken, namely always wearing mask when leaving the house 93,7%, at work 96.2%, always wash hands 90%, always keep a distance 85.7 and the availability of personal masks is above 96%. Independent variables that have a significant relationship with COVID-19 prevention behavior are Gender, Working Area and Perceptions of Barriers. Conclusion: this study found that perceived barriers were the most influencing factor on COVID-19 prevention behavior among health workers at Puskesmas p-value =0,000 OR.2,293

Adolescents in prisons are vulnerable to perform HIV risk behaviors. Results of HIV screening from LPKA, showed that some adolescent had had sexual intercourse, tattoos, piercing, and injecting drugs. Peer education is the most effective and efficient program to prevent HIV transmission in prisons because its sustainability. The research aims to know the effect of peer education on May until June 2017 on knowledge and intent to reduce HIV risk behavior. The research used quasi experimental without control design with pretest-posttest questionnaires. The results showed that there was a significant increase in HIV knowledge based on the MDGs indicator (p = 0.015), total HIV knowledge (p=0,000), intention to only have sexual intercourse with one faithful partner (p=0.05), and intention to test HIV (p=0.02). But, there was no significant increase in intention to abstinance (p = 0.317) and intention to using condom (0.206).
