A various of organic solvents are used in PT SCI's testing laboratory, including benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX). BTX is known as a hazardous chemical and can pose a health risks, both acute and chronic. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a health risk assessment related to BTX exposure in order to assess the adequacy of the control methods that have been implemented in the PT SCI laboratory. This study assessed the health risks associated with inhalation of BTX exposure with the CHRA DOSH Malaysia method qualitatively and quantitatively and compared to the Singapore quantitative method SQRA, the level of risk associated with benzene exposure is in the high category, while exposure to toluene and xylene has a moderate risk. CHRA in quantitatively, benzene exposure (TWA measurement = 0.025 ppm) had a moderate risk (RR=5), while toluene (TWA measurement = 0.104 ppm) and xylene (TWA measurement = 0.077 ppm) had a low risk level (RR=2). By using the SQRA method, the risk level is moderate for benzene, and low for toluene and xylene. It can be concluded that the CHRA qualitative method overestimates the CHRA quantitative method; and quantitative methods CHRA and SQRA showed comparable results.
Along with the development of the world's industry and since the beginning of theindustrial revolution, the world is never be separated from the use of chemicals. Oneof the chemicals used is hydrogen chloride/hydrochloric acid which is the rawmaterial of plastic PVC, furniture cleaning materials, to produce gelatin, foodaddictive substances, and the leather tanning process, so the risk of HCL is very large. There is no exception for the tank material as the place to store materials. Therefore,it is very necessary need the level risk assessment in design phase HCl 33% storagetank againts tank material and financial consequences aspects if there is a leak at thetank. In this study, the analysis of the risk assessment used the Quantitative Risk AnalysisMethode API-RBI 581:2008. This study shows that the value of Probability ofFailure (PoF) obtained is 3909,24 and is on category 5 (1000 < Df-total ≤10000), ifthere is a hole in the wall of the tank its cost of consequence is US$ 8.670.000, oncategory D and at the high level risk. While the cost of consequence if there is a holeat the plate of bottom tank is US$ 21.500.000.000 and is on category E and at thehigh risk level. Keywords : Storage tank, Ammonia, dispersion, BREEZE Incident analyst, FaultTree Analysis

This research has objective to predict carsinogenic and non carcinogeniceffect of BTX exposure to offshore workers and the risk management required. Itis cross sectional study which utilize the environmental health risk assessmentapproach. Sample consists of 95 offshore workers in upstream oil and gascompany X. research data is compiled from direct interview and companymeasurement data. As a control, 7 administrative workers are involved incalculation. The result of this research is non carcinogenic exposure of benzenemust become a high concern which has risk quotient - RQ 21.05% at realtimeexposure and 61.05% at lifetime exposure. There is little risk related to tolueneand xylene. Its respectively RQ is lower than 1 for both of them. For carcinogenichealth risk of benzene, 20% of offshore workers and 60% of offshore workers hascarcinogenic effect to their health risk.It can be concluded that risk management isrequired for being applied in order to minimize the benzene health effect tooffshore workers.

Work-related stress is a significant issue in the oil and gas (migas) sector, impacting workers' mental and physical health as well as their performance. This study aims to analyze the prevalence and risk factors of work-related stress among workers in production units I and II at PT XYZ in 2024. The study used a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 120 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using bivariate tests to assess the relationship between risk factors and work-related stress. The analysis included Chi-square tests, Prevalence Ratio (PR), and 95% Confidence Interval (CI). Results showed that 50% of workers experienced work stress. Significant associated factors included educational level (p=0.003; PR=2.200; 95% CI: 1.179–2.700), work duration >5 years (p=0.011; PR=5.954; 95% CI: 0.912–38.893), marital status (p=0.000; PR=4.171; 95% CI: 1.969–8.835), poor social support (p=0.044; PR=1.505; 95% CI: 1.032–2.196), low job autonomy (p=0.001; PR=2.000; 95% CI: 1.341–2.984), and poor interpersonal relationships (p=0.033; PR=1.806; 95% CI: 1.019–3.200). Non-significant factors included age (p=0.096), organizational culture (p=1.000), and resources (p=0.096). This study highlights the importance of addressing individual and psychosocial factors in managing work-related stress in the migas sector. Social support programs, increased job autonomy, and improved interpersonal relationships can help reduce work stress in this environment.
