Abstrak:

ABSTRAK Kebakaran gedung bertingkat bisa memakan korban jiwa yang banyak jika tidak diantisipasi sejak dini dengan memfasilitasi gedung tersebut dengan fasilitas keselamatan dan pelatihan kebakaran. Evaluasi keselamatan kebakaran adalah salah satu cara untuk mengetahui kesiapan sebuah gedung dalam menghadapi kejadian kebakaran. Tesis ini membahas evaluasi keselamatan kebakaran digedung Menara Karya dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Computerised Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES). Perangkat Lunak CFSES membantu memberikan perhitungan hasil observasi peneliti terhadap 12 parameter safety berdasarkan NFPA 101A Alternate Approaches to Life Safety yaitu Fire Safety Evaluation System. Dari hasil evaluasi terhadap 12 parameter akan didapatkan nilai kontrol penyebaran api (fire control), nilai jalur keselamatan keluar gedung (egress) dan nilai keselamatan umum (general safety) di gedung tersebut. Kemudian nilai hasil penelitian dibandingkan dengan nilai yang telah ditetapkan oleh NFPA 101 A untuk klasifikasi gedung tersebut. Jika nilai yang didapat dari hasil evaluasi berada dibawah nilai persyaratan maka perlu tindak lanjut untuk memperbaiki parameter safety yang melekat pada gedung tersebut untuk meningkatkan kesiapan gedung dalam menghadapi kebakaran. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan saran kepada pihak gedung untuk memperbaiki parameter vertical opening pada shaft kabel yang ada pada gedung tersebut untuk dilengkapi segera denga fire stop sehingga perambatan api kelantai atas dan penyebaran asap bisa dihambat.

ABSTRACT In case of fire in high rise building able to make a lot of victims if it is not anticipated early through provide firefighting equipment on that building and enhance knowledge of occupancies related to fire drill training.Fire safety evaluation is a way to get information how the building ready to face in case of fire. This thesis discusses the evaluation of fire safety in the Menara Karya building using software Computerised Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES). The software CFSES help to provide the calculation of the 12 observations researcher safety parameters based on NFPA 101A Alternate Approaches to Life Safety is Fire Safety Evaluation System. From the results of an evaluation of 12 parameters which fire control, egress and general safety in the building. Then the value of the results of the study compared with the value set by the NFPA 101 A for the classification of its building. If the value obtained from the results of the evaluation are below from mandatory requirement it is necessary to improve safety parameters attached to the building to improve the building's readiness in the face of fire. The results provide advice to the building to improve the parameters of vertical shaft opening on the existing wiring in the building to include premises immediately stop making fire onto the floor above the fire propagation and spread of smoke could be inhibited.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja Manajemen dan Penerapan SistemKeselamatan Kebakaran pada Bangunan Gedung di Kawasan Kampus UniversitasIndonesia, Depok dengan metode penelitian Semi Kuantitatif dan desain DeskriptifAnalitik. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan kesesuaian 12 safety parametes dan persyaratantambahan pada NFPA 101A: Alternate Approaches to Life Safety dengan standar NFPA101: Life Safety Code. ®. Variabel yang dianalisis adalah komponen Manajemen,Penerapan Sistem Keselamatan dan Proteksi Kebakaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukankinerja sistem keselamatan kebakaran cenderung kurang baik, hal tersebut dipengaruhimanajemen yang kurang baik, hasil evaluasi dimaksudkan untuk tindak lanjut perbaikandan peningkatan kinerja sistem keselamatan kebakaran yang diterapkan.

This research is aimed to evaluate the performance of management and the application ofthe Fire Safety Systems Building in the area of University of Indonesia, Depok, by Semi-Quantitative research methods Descriptive Analytical design. The evaluation is based onconformity 12 safety parameters and the additional requirements in NFPA 101A:Alternate Approaches to Life Safety standards NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. ®. Thevariables analyzed were components of Management, Implementation of Safety and FireProtection Systems. The results showed the performance of fire safety systems tend to beless good, it is influenced by poor management, the results of the evaluation is intendedfor the follow-up fixes and performance improvements of are applicable fire safetysystems are applicable.

Abstrak: Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan keselamatan kebakaran gedung dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menilai 12 Safety Parameter dan persyaratan tambahan yang terdapat pada NFPA 101A: Alternate Approach to Life Safety dIsesuaikan dengan standard dari NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. Gedung Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia yang dievaluasi adalah gedung A, C, D, dan H. Didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa tidak satupun gedung yang dievaluasi memenuhi nilai persyaratan keselamatan minimum pada NFPA 101: Life Safety Code.

This study has the purpose to evaluate the fire safety of buildings using software Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia. Evaluation is done by assessing 12 Safety parameters and additional requirements contained in NFPA 101A: Alternate Approach to Life Safety adjusted to the standard of the NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia, which is evaluated is building A, C, D, and H. Obtained conclusion that none of the evaluated buildings meet minimum safety requirements on the value of NFPA 101: Life Safety Code.
