Di Indonesia, prevalensi stunting pada balita masih cukup tinggi. Tujuanpenelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran, faktor-faktor yang berhubungan, faktordominan, dan perilaku unik positif kejadian stunting pada balita. Faktor-faktortersebut adalah jumlah anggota keluarga, keanekaragaman makanan, perilakupemberian makan, perilaku pengasuhan anak, perilaku kebersihan, dan perilakupemeliharaan kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatifcross-sectional dan kualitatif yang dimulai dari bulan April hingga Juni 2014.Terdapat 103 responden survei yang telah menyelesaikan pengisian danwawancara kuesioner, serta pengukuran panjang atau tinggi badan balita. Selainitu terdapat 24 orang informan diskusi kelompok ibu, bapak, dan nenek, serta 5keluarga balita yang dikunjungi rumahnya. Hasil penelitian survei kuantitatifmenunjukkan bahwa proporsi kejadian stunting pada balita di Desa Babelan Kotayaitu sebesar 27.2% (kategori sedang) dan perilaku pengasuhan merupakan faktordominan stunting. Hasil penelitian menyarankan agar balita dapat mengadopsiperilaku unik positif yang ditemukan yaitu, anak makan sendiri menggunakansendok, mandi sehari 3 kali, menggunakan alas kaki saat keluar rumah, dan ibumenyuruh anak istirahat saat sakit. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting in children under five is stillquite high. The purpose of this study to describe factors associated, the dominantfactor, and the positive unique behavior of stunting in children under five. Thesefactors are the number of family members, the dietary diversity, feeding behavior,parenting behavior, hygiene and sanitation behavior, and health-seeking behavior.This study uses cross-sectional quantitative research and qualitative starts fromApril to June 2014. There were 103 survey respondents who have completedfilling questionnaires and interviews, as well as the length or height measurementsof under five children. In addition there are 24 discussion group informants ofmother, father, and grandmother, as well as 5 families of children whose home arevisited. The results of the quantitative survey research shows that the proportionof the incidence of stunting in children under five in the village Babelan Kota is27.2% (medium category) and parenting behavior is a dominant factor of stunting.The results of the study suggest that children can adopt positive unique behaviorsthat was found, child use a spoon to feed themselves, bath 3 times a day, using thefootwear when going out of the house, and the mother tells the child to restwhenever ill.Keywords:Behavior, children under five, positive deviance, quantitative and qualitative,stunting

Abstrak:
Tesis ini membahas tentang analisis perilaku pemberian makanan, perilaku pengasuhan, perilaku kebersihan, dan perilaku perawatan kesehatan sebagai perilaku PD pada keluarga status ekonomi rendah dengan kejadian tidak stunting di Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan phenomenology. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Perilaku Positive Deviance pada keluarga status ekonomi rendah dengan kejadian tidak stunting adalah 1) perilaku pemberian makanan atau MPASI dengan frekuensi tiga kali sehari masing-masing untuk makan utama maupun makanan selingan, (2) bahan-bahan makanan yang dikonsumsi anak bernilai gizi baik dengan makanan utama menu empat bintang yang terdiri dari nasi, protein nabati, protein hewani, dan sayuran serta makanan selingan seperti kacang hijau serta buah seperti pisang dan pepaya, (3) kuantitas waktu orang tua bersama dengan anak dimana orang tua yang anaknya tidak stunting memiliki waktu 24 jam bersama anak, (4) peran orang tua ketika bersama anak yaitu mengajak anak aktif berinteraksi tidak hanya menonton TV dan bermain handphone saja, (5) kegiatan bersama yang dilakukan sebelum tidur seperti memijat, bercerita kegiatan sehari-hari dan bernyanyi, serta (6) perilaku menjaga kebersihan tubuh anak seperti sikat gigi sebelum tidur
his thesis discusses the analysis of feeding behavior, parenting behavior, hygiene behavior, and health care behavior as Positive Deviance behavior in families of low economic status with non-stunting in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research using the phenomenology approach. The results of this study are Positive Deviance Behavior in families of low economic status with non-stunting are 1) feeding behavior or MPASI with a frequency of three times a day each for main meals and snack foods, (2) the food ingredients consumed by children with good nutritional value with the main meal of the four-star menu and snacks such as green beans and fruit such as bananas and papayas, (3) the quantity of time parents spend together with children where parents whose children are not stunted have 24 hours with the child, (4) the role of parents when with the child is to invite children to actively interact, not only watch TV and play on handphones, (5) joint activities carried out before bedtime such as massaging , telling stories about daily activities and singing, and (6) the behavior of keeping the child's body clean such as brushing their teeth before bed.
