Abstrak:
Tesis ini membahas bagaimana tingkat kecerdasan emosional perawat RSIA Hermina Jatinegara dan apakah ada hubungan antara karakteristik individu dan pekerjaan dengan tingkat kecerdasan emosional serta faktor apa yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadapnya. Penelitian dilakukan secara potong lintang dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan skor tingkat kecerdasan emosional 3,6872, Terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat kecerdasan emosional antara respoden berpenddidikan menengah dan tinggi. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat kecerdasan emosional antara responden sudah menikah atau belum. Usia dan lama kerja berkorelasi positif dengan tingkat kecerdasan emosional. Faktor yang dominan berpengaruh adalah tingkat pendidikan.

This research is done with cross sectional and quantitative approach. The result finds emotional intelligence score is 3,6872. There is significant difference of emotional intelligence level among middle educated and high educated responden. There is no significant difference of emotional intelligence level among not yet married and married responden. The age and working period have positive correlation with emotional intelligence level. The dominant influencing factor is eduation level.
