This thesis explored the Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) implementation in the above hospital. The purpose of this research was to asses and identify both the problems and obstacles faced in the implementation of the KMC in the hospital. This study employed a qualitative researchdesign using the method of observation and in-depth interviewsand useda Rapid Assesment Procedure (RAP) design. The results of this research showed that all informants(six mothersof low birth weight babies/LBWB ) practiced the intermitten KMC in the hospital and only 2 informantsundertaken the KMC until the baby's reach birth weight of 2500 grams. The research’sresults suggests to optimize the KMC among the LBWB by improving the quality of human resources through increasing the number of nurses/midwives trained on KMC counseling.This is particularly important especially for nurses in perinatology room.It is also recommended to improve infrastructure and facilities by adding the KMC room facilities beds for counseling.In addition, rooming in for both mother and baby is also endorsed. The Implementation of the KMC in the hospital should also work together with the district health office to develop an effective KMC referralservice. This effort is utmosst important support sustainability of implementation of KMC among LBWB in the above hospital.
Keterlambatan pembayaran klaim Askeskin yang terjadi pada awal tahun 2007, telah memberikan dampak negatif terhadap cash flow Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dan pelayanan bagi masyarakat miskin. Keterlambatan pembayaran klaim Askeskin terjadi selama 2 (dua) bulan, klaim yang seharusnya dibayar pada bulan Januari 2007 baru dibayarkan pada bulan Maret 2007. Penyebab keterlambatan pembayaran klaim Askeskin adalah karena adanya proses administrasi kesepakatan kerjasama I MoU (Memmy of Understanding) antara Departemen Kesehatan dengan PT Askes (Persero) di tingkat pusat dan juga proses administrasi kesepakatan ketjasama I MoU (Memory of Understanding) antara PT Askes (Persero) Cabang Cirebon dengan RSUD Gunung Jati Kota Cirebon. Keterlambatan pembayaran klaim Askeskin tersebut sangat berpengaruh terhadap cash flow RSUD Gunung Jati Kota Cirebon sehingga RSUD Gunung Jati Kota Cirebon terpaksa mcnunda pembayaran kewajiban kepada pegawai dan pemasok serta mernangkas biaya pemeliharaan gedung I sarana dan prasarana. Upaya-upaya tersebut tentunya sangat berdampak terhadap kinerja pegawai dan ketersediaan supplies yang mempengaruhi pelayanan pasien peserta Askeskin di RSUD Gunung Jati kota Cirebon. Siapkan dana yang cukup untuk mendanai pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat miskin, misalnya dengan mengalokasikan pendanaan pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat miskin yang bersumber dari pajak produk yang bersifat destruktif seperti, rokok, minuman keras (alkohol) dan makanan cepat saji. Setelah tersedia dana yang cukup, buat aturan yang memuat sangsi bagi para pihak yang terlibat dalam pelayanan kesehatan bagi rakyat miskin jika terjadi keterlambatan pembayaran klaim Askeskin.
This research analyzed the outpatient medical record services at RSUD GunungJati Cirebon. The purposes of this study were to determine the length of time ittakes in a series of processes of outpatient medical record services and to identifyobstacles. The type of research employed was qualitative research. The resultsshowed that the average length of was 151 minutes. The longest process occurredin the search stage of outpatient medical records. The time required in the processof outpatient medical record services was still within the old category, i.e. >10minutes, which was affected by the lack of training on storage, and the non-optimum use of medical record storage cabinets in the storage section.Keywords: medical records, outpatient, length of time
