Abstrak:
Penyakit rabies atau anjing gila adalah suatu penyakit yang sangat ditakuti dan dapat menimbulkan kematian. Penyakit ini ditularkan dari hewan yang sudah terkena virus rabies kepada manusia yang disebut dengan lyssa virus. Lyssa virus dapat menularkan dengan secara cepat dari Hewan pada penderita lain melalui saliva (air liur). Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kejadian rabies di provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan data Laporan Kasus Rabies tahun 2008 hingga tahun 2011 dan data Kecamatan di Provinsi dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kejadian rabies di Provinsi Bali dapat terjadi di semua wilayah baik di wilayah padat penduduk, di wilayah persawahan, dan di wilayah selain sawah seperti perkarangan, perkebunan, dan hutan.

Lyssa virus can quickly spread to other sufferers of Animals on through saliva. This study was made in order to determine the incidence of rabies in the province of Bali. This study uses data Rabies Case Reports 2008 to 2011 and District in the Province of data with univariate and bivariate analyzes. The results showed that the incidence of rabies in Bali province can occur in all areas both in densely populated areas, in the rice-fields, and in Land use such as besides rice, plantations, and forest.
