Abstrak:

Penelitian difokuskan untuk menganalisis perilaku keselamatan penggunaan LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) 3 kg terhadap ibu rumah tangga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa perilaku keselamatan dapat ditingkatkan dengan menambah pengetahuan mengenai bagian-bagian LPG 3 kg dan penggunaan LPG 3 kg terutama dalam penempatannya. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui sharing pengalaman penggunaan LPG 3 kg antara ibu rumah tangga atau media sosialisasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-April 2011 di wilayah Depok dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 277 responden. Data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil Penelitian dari 277 responden, menunjukkan 62,1% responden memiliki tingkat perilaku aman dan 37,9% responden memiliki tingkat perilaku yang kurang aman. Di samping itu, diperoleh hubungan antara perilaku keselamatan penggunaan LPG 3 kg pada ibu rumah tangga dengan pengetahuan dan lama penggunaan LPG 3 kg.  The focus of this research to analysis on safe use of LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) 3 kg toward safe behavior of housewives. This research is a quantitative descriptive analitic interpretive. The researcher suggest that the behavior of safety can be improved by adding knowledge about the parts of LPG 3 kg and the use of LPG 3 Kg specially on appointment LPG. It can do with sharing the experience for using of LPG 3 Kg between housewives or by medium’s sosialiszation. This research was conducted in March-April 2011 in the location in Depok with spread questionnaires to 277 respondents. Data processed using SPSS. Results from the study of 277 respondents, found 62.1% of respondents have a level of safety behavior and 37.9% of respondents have of unsafety behavior. In addition, we found that variables related to safety behavior use 3 kg of LPG on the housewife is knowledge and the duration of using 3 kg of LPG. Abstrak: Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3)adalah suatu upaya pemikiran dalam menjamin keutuhan dan kesempurnaan jasmani maupun rohani manusia pada umumnya dan pekerja pada khususnya, serta hasil karya budaya dalam rangka menuju masyarakat adil dan makmur. Tingginya resiko kecelakaan dan kesehatan pada pekerja di industri saat ini sudah seharusnya menjadi perhatian utama baik bagi pekerja, pengusaha, maupun pemerintah khususnya di PT. Pertamina (Persero) LPG dan Gas Products Region III Depot LPG Tanjung Priok dalam hal analisis risiko pada proses bongkar muat tabung LPG ukuran 3 Kg. Dengan memahami dan merealisasikan teori manajemen risiko segala potensi risiko yang terdapat pada setiap proses kerja yang dilakukan akan di minimalisasi dan dapat dilakukan pencegahan serta pengendalian lebih lanjut pada proses kerja yang dimaksud.

Health and Safety (HSE) is an effort to preserve the unity of thought and perfection of the human body and spirit in general and workers in particular, and the work culture in the framework towards a just and prosperous society. The high risk of accidents and health of workers in the industry today should be a major concern both for workers, employers, and government, especially in the PT. Pertamina (Persero) LPG and Gas Products Region III Depot LPG Tanjung Priok in terms of risk Analysis in the process of loading and unloading of LPG 3 Kg size. By understanding and realization of the theory of risk management all the potential risks inherent in any process of the work done will be done in the minimization and prevention and further control the work process is.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengenai penilaian risiko keselamatan kerja pada proses repaint di kegiatan pemeliharaan tabung LPG di Pabrik Tabung Elpiji Pertamina Plumpang, Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya tingkat risiko keselamatan kerja yang ada pada pekerja di bagian proses repaint tabung LPG. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat bahaya mekanik, elektrik, dan fisik. Pada basic risk diketahui bahwa terdapat 18 risiko yang termasuk dalam kategori very high. Pada existing risk, pengendalian yang telah dilakukan mampu menurunkan risiko sampai kategori acceptable, namun masih ada risiko dalam kategori priority 3 dan substancial. Rekomendasi pengendalian yang diberikan mampu menurunkan risiko menjadi kategori acceptable dan priority 3.

This study is about occupational safety risk assessment in LPG cylinder at Elpiji Cylinders Manufacture Pertamina Plumpang, Jakarta. This study aims to find out occupational safety risk level in worker at LPG cylinder LPG repaint process activities. The result of research explained that LPG gas cylinder repaint process have mechanical hazard, electric hazard, and physical hazard. There are 18 risk in very high categories. In existing risk level, existing control can reduce risk until acceptable category, but there are residual risk in priority 3 and substancial. Control recommendation can reduce risk until acceptable and priority 1 level.

Abstrak: Penggunaan kompor gas 3 Kg yaitu katup tabung baja gas 3 Kg. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kesesuaian teknis dan tingkat kualitas katup terhadap standar yang diberlakukan wajib oleh pemerintah, yaitu SNI 1591:2008. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan cara melakukan uji visual, dimensi konstruksi dan uji tekanan sesuai dengan standar teknis yang berlaku SNI 1591:2008.Hasil penelitian dengan 30 sampel yang diambil secara acak menyatakan bahwa pada uji visual semua sampel setara dengan 100 persen adalah lulus uji, untuk uji dimensi konstruksi didapati hanya 20 persen sampel yang lulus uji, sedangkan untuk uji tekanan sebanyak 90 persen sampel lulus uji.Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk pihak produsen, pemerintah dan masyarakat aktif berperan serta untuk selalu meningkatkan pengawasan dan pemeliharaan teknis katup mulai dari pemilihan bahan baku,produksi,distribusi hingga penggunaan.

This thesis will explain further about the technical safety of valve of LPG steel cylinder 3 Kg. The purpose of this study was to determine the technical suitability, level of quality and the product safety of the valves to the compulsory standards imposed by the government, namely SNI 1591:2008. This research is a qualitative research by conducting visual tests, dimensions, construction and pressure test in accordance with applicable technical standards of SNI 1591:2008.The results with 30 samples taken randomly stating that the visual testing of all samples was equivalent to 100 percent passed the test, for the construction dimensional test, from the test sample, found only 20 percent who passed the test, while for the pressure test as much as 90 percent of the samples passed the test.This research suggests that for the producers, governments and communities to participate actively to improve oversight and technical maintenance of valves ranging from raw material selection, production, distribution to use.

Tesis ini pertama membahas dispersi gas, kebakaran dan ledakan akibat kebocoran tangki propana dan butana serta tabung LPG 3 kg. Bersifat kuantitatif. Disarankan pemilik tangki/penyalur LPG mengestimasikan jarak aman; membuat rencana tanggap darurat; mempersiapkan deteksi dini kebocoran dan maintenance. Pemerintah disarankan lebih teliti memberikan izin mendirikan tangki; melakukan pengawasan operasi tangki penyimpanan, terutama yang berlokasi di sekitar pemukiman penduduk.Kedua, keselamatan penyalur LPG 3 kg di Depok. Bersifat deskriptif. Disarankan penyalur LPG melakukan perbaikan secara bertahap, terutama pelatihan petugas; pemasangan lampu gas proof, alarm keadaan darurat dan gas detector; pembuatan OKD; penyediaan kotak P3K. Pemerintah disarankan mengawasi dan memfasilitasi kebutuhan penyalur.
