Abstrak:
Kalsium merupakan salah satu mineral penyusun tulang pada masa-masa pertumbuhanmanusia. Susu merupakan salah satu sumber asupan kalsium yang baik bagi tubuh.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan konsumsi susu terhadapkecukupan asupan kalsium dengan dikontrol oleh kebiasaan sarapan, jenis kelamin,pengetahuan gizi, aktivitas fisik, konsumsi soft drink, pendidikan orang tua dan uangsaku. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional, dengan jumlahresponden 290 mahasiswa reguler Rumpun Ilmu Kesahatan angkatan 2013 pada bulanapril hingga mei 2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengisian kuesionerumum, kuesioner pengetahuan, food frequency questionare dan 2x24 jam food recall. Analisis statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji Chi square dan regresi logistikganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 86,6% Memiliki asupan kalsium yang kurang. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara konsumsi susudan jenis kelamin. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukan kebiasaan sarapan merupakan faktor yang mengontrol konsumsi susu terhadap kecukupan kalsium.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diharapkan mahasiswa calon tenaga kesehatan dapatmenjaga kesehatan serta asupan makanan mereka agar terhindar dari resiko penyakittulang.Kata kunci: Asupan, Kalsium, Konsumsi Susu, kebiasaan sarapan.
Calcium is a mineral constituent of bone in the human growth period. Milk is a goodsource of calcium for the body. This study purpose to determine the effect of milkconsumption habits of the adequate intake of calcium is controlled by the breakfasthabits, gender, knowledge of nutrition, physical activity, consumption of soft drinks,and parental education. The study design is cross-sectional, the number of respondents290 regular students Health Science Faculty in April 2013 until May 2014. Data wascollected through questionnaires general, knowledge questionnaire, food frequencyquestionare and 2x24 hour food recall. Statistical analysis in this study using Chisquare test and multiple logistic regression. The results showed 86.6% Have lesscalcium intake. The results of the bivariate analysis revealed that there is a significantrelationship between Calcium intake with milk consumption and sex. Multivariateanalysis showed the breakfast habit is a factor that controls the influence dairyconsumption with calcium intake. Based on these results, prospective students areexpected to maintain the health of health workers as well as their food intake in orderto avoid the risk of bone disease.Keyword: Intake, Calcium, Dairy Consumption, breakfast.
