Abstrak:
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Analisis Sistem Proteksi Kebakaranpada Gedung Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia dengan Menggunakan SNIdan NFPA tahun 2013. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin melihat apakah sistemproteksi kebakaran pada gedung Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia sudahbisa dikatakan baik atau buruk. Dalam penelitian kali ini, penulis menggunakanceklis sebagai cara untuk mengetahui baik buruknya sistem proteksi kebakaran,yang tiap-tiap variabelnya mengacu pada SNI dan NFPA. Variabel yang menjadialat ukur penelitian kali ini adalah baik buruknya sprinkler, APAR, titik panggilmanual, alarm, hidran, detekor, dan laboratorium. Selain itu, penulis jugamelakukan wawancara mendalam untuk mendapatkan pengayaan informasikepada pihak-pihak yang dirasa memiliki informasi terkait sistem kebakaran yangada. Pada hasil penelitian, berdasarkan hasil ceklis ke enam variabel yangmengacu pada SNI dan NFPA terkait sistem proteksi kebakaran pada gedungFakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia, disimpulkan bahwa sistem proteksikebakaran yang ada pada Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia masih belumbisa dikatakan baik. Tidak sesuainya keadaan sistem proteksi kebakaran yang ada dengan ketentuan yang berlaku pada SNI dan NFPA, serta kurang baiknya managemen dalam pengelolaan sistem proteksi kebakaran di gedung Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Idonesia menjadi alasan penulis, mengapa sistem proteksi kebakaran pada gedung Fakultas farmasi Universitas Indonesia belum dapat diakatakan baik.

On the resultsof the study, based on the results of the checklist to six variable that refers to therelevant SNI and NFPA fire protection systems in the building of the Faculty ofPharmacy, University of Indonesia, it was concluded that the existing fireprotection system at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia was notgood. Incompatibility of the state of the existing fire protection system with theapplicable provisions of SNI and NFPA, as well as the lack of good managementin the management of the fire protection system in the building of the Faculty ofPharmacy, University of Indonesia become the reason the author, why the fireprotection systems in buildings Pharmaceutical Faculty, University of Indonesiacan not be said good.

Universitas merupakan salah satu tempat yang memiliki risiko terhadap kebakaran. Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi pemenuhan sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif, pasif, dan sarana penyelamatan jiwa di Gedung Baru Fakultas Ilmu Adinistrasi Universitas Indonesia. Desain penelitian ini bersifat mix methode. Objek dari penelitian ini yaitu setiap elemen pada sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif, pasif, serta sarana penyelamatan jiwa yang berada di Gedung Baru FIA UI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan perbandingan antara kondisi aktual dengan standar NFPA (NFPA 72, NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 10, NFPA 101), Permen PU No. 26 Tahun 2008, dan Perwal Depok No. 14 Tahun 2012 . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif pada Gedung Baru FIA UI mendapatkan hasil 86,68% memenuhi standar dan peraturan yang berlaku, sistem proteksi pasif mendapatkan hasil 80% memenuhi standar dan peraturan yang berlaku, serta sarana penyelamatan jiwa mendapatkan hasil 93,75% memenuhi standar dan peraturan yang berlaku.
University is one of the places that has a risk of fire. This study discusses the evaluation of the fulfillment of active, passive fire protection systems, and life-saving facilities in the New Building of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia. This study design is a mix method. The object of this study is each element of the active, passive fire protection system, and life-saving facilities in the New Building of FIA UI. Data collection was carried out using observation and interview methods. Analysis was carried out by comparing actual conditions with NFPA standards (NFPA 72, NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 10, NFPA 101), Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 26 of 2008, and Depok Mayor Regulation No. 14 of 2012. The results of this study indicate that the active fire protection system in the New Building of FIA UI obtained 86.68% results in compliance with applicable standards and regulations, the passive protection system obtained 80% results in compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and the life-saving facilities obtained 93.75% results in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Abstrak:
Hingga saat ini kebakaran masih sering terjadi terutama pada bangunan gedung bertingkat. Laboratorium merupakan bangunan yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus mengenai sistem proteksi kebakaran. Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif berupa sprinkler, alarm kebakaran, detektor kebakaran, hidran, dan APAR, sistem proteksi kebakaran pasif berupa kompartemenisasi, sarana jalan keluar, pintu kebakaran, tangga kebakaran, pencahayaan darurat, tanda penunjuk arah, dan tempat berkumpul sementara, dengan peraturan yang berlaku di Indonesia berupa Permen PU No.26/PRT/M/2008, Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) maupun peraturan yang berlaku di internasional berupa standar National Fire Protection Assosiation (NFPA), serta membahas tentang kesesuaian laboratorium menggunakan bahan kimia terhadap standar National Fire Protection Assosiation 45 tentang Laboratories Using Chemicals. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Proteksi Kebakaran Aktif memenuhi peraturan sebesar 61%, Sistem Proteksi Kebakaran Pasif memenuhi peraturan sebesar 57,5% dan Laboratories Using Chemicals memenuhi standar sebesar 75%, namun masih diperlukan beberapa perbaikan serta peningkatan dari kelengkapan sarana pencegahan dan penanggulangan kebakaran yang telah tersedia.

The laboratory is a building that needs to get special attention on fire protection system.This study discusses the evaluation of active fire protection system in the form of sprinkler, fire alarm, fire detector, hydrant, and fire extinguisher, and passive fire protection system in form compartment, exit facility, fire door, fire ladder, emergency lighting, signpost, and temporary gathering places. All this element is evaluated with regulations that applied in Indonesia. The regulation are Permen PU No.26/PRT/M/2008, Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and international regulation that is National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard. This study also discusses the compatibility of laboratory using chemicals against National Fire Protection Association 45 standard about Laboratories Using Chemicals. The research design used was observational research with qualitative approach. The results showed that the Active Fire Protection System meets the regulation of 61%, The Passive Fire Protection System meets the regulation of 57.5%, and Laboratories Using Chemicals meets regulation of 75%. However there are still needed some improvement and enhancement of the completeness of prevention and fire protection facilities.

Abstrak:
Kasus kejadian kebakaran pada gedung pendidikan masih cenderung tinggi. Gedung pendidikan merupakan tempat dimana civitas akademikaberaktivitas, dan banyak menyimpan arsip, dokumen yang bernilai tinggi danberguna bagi ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian skripsi ini bertujuan mengevaluasipenerapan keselamatan kebakaran gedung pada gedung Fakultas HukumUniversitas Indonesia yang terletak di daerah Depok, Jawa Barat. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan semi kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif sesuai dengan NFPA 101A: Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety dandibantu dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Computerized Fire SafetyEvaluation System (CFSES). Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan kesesuaian 12 safetyparameter dan persyaratan tambahan yang ada pada NFPA 101A: AlternateApproaches to Life Safety. Sampel gedung dievaluasi terdiri dari tiga gedung yaitugedung A, gedung B, dan gedung C. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan keselamatan kebakaran pada ketiga gedung tersebut belum memenuhi persyaratan keselamatan minimum pada NFPA 101: Life Safety Code.

Based on the results of the research, the application of fire safety in thewhole buildings are under the minimum safety requirements of NFPA 101: LifeSafety Code.
