The purpose of this research was done to determine the factors associated with the incidence of obesity in children in the school. Design of a quantitative research with approach of cross-sectional. Research conducted in April 2013, the sample was grade 5 MI Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. The number of samples were as many as 246 students. In this study, the instruments used are questionnaire that contains a list of questions about the factors (characteristics, diet, physical activity, and allowance) that is associated with the incidence of obesity in students of class 5. In addition, to gain weight and height, the instrument used was a special meter Stampede scale and height. The frequency of fast food, food habits in the past, large allowance, the habit of snacking, watching television, playing video games and old sports-related kajadian obesity (p < 0.05).
Akademi Keperawatan sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan di lingkungan Departemen Kesehatan memiliki peran strategis dalam mengantarkan peserta didik Akademi Keperawatan menjadi perawat profesional pemula melalui proses belajar mengajar. Keberhasilan belajar peserta didik yang dinyatakan dalam indeks prestasi (IP) akan menggambarkan kemampuan profesional mereka dimasa mendatang sebagai perawat. Permasalahan di AKPER Pemkab Labuanbatu adalah rendahnya IP peserta didik, bila hal ini dibiarkan dan tidak diperhatikan secara serius maka akan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan lulusan tenaga perawat dalam melakukan pelayanan kesehatan.Adanya masalah tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk menganalisa hubungan antara persepsi layanan pendidikan, nilai ujian masuk, dan motivasi dengan indeks prestasi belajar mahasiswa Akademi Keperawatan Pemkab Labuanbatu.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya gambaran tentang hubungan antara persepsi layanan pendidikan, nilai ujian masuk, dan motivasi dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa AKPER Pemkab Labuanbatu.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik semester I, III, dan V AKPER PemkabLabuanbatu, tahun akademik 2001/2002 sebanyak 180 mahasiswa semuanya 162 dijadikan sebagai sampleData kuantitatif yang diperoleh sebanyak 162 mahasiswa dan semuanya dijadikan sebagai sampel. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dokumen. Pengolahan dan analisa data secara Univariat, Bivariat, dan Multivariat.Hasil analisa Bivariat memperlihatkan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar adalah suku bangsa p value = 0,045, asal sekolah p value = 0,039, nilai ujian masuk p value = 0,006, dan motivasi berprestasi p value = 0,015. Hasil analisa multivariat menghasilkan variabel yang berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar ialah motivasi berprestasi dengan nilai OR = 2,84.Untuk meningkatkan indeks prestasi mahasiswa AKPER Labuanbatu perlu mendorong mahasiswa agar meningkatkan kebutuhan berprestasinya. The Relation among Perception of Education Services, Entrance Test Grade, and Motivation mib Studying Prestation Index Student of Nursing Academy Distric Office of LabuanbatuNursing Academy is one of the education institute under Departement of Health, having a strategic role to educate students of Nursing Academy to become beginner professional nurses through a studying and learning process. The success of study is indicated in Study Achievement Index, will picture their capability to become professional nurses in the future. The problem faced in the Nursing Academy of District Office of Labuanbatu is the lower Achievement Index of the student, if this things ignored and seriously not interested then influence the capability of nurse graduate in doing the public health services.The problem encourage the scientist to analyze the relation among perception of education services, entrance test graduate, and motivation mib studying prestation index student of Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu.The final aim of this research to have a picture about correlation among perseption of education services, entrance test graduate, and motivation mib studying prestation index student of Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu.The design of research used in this study is Cross Sectional. Population research are students semester I, III, and V Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu, academic years 2001/2002.The quantitative data which collected is 162 students and both of the data used as a sample.The data collected through questionnaires and document. The processed and analyzed data univariat, bivariat as well as multivariate. The analyzed bivariat result which variable showed correlation with studying index is tribe p value 0,045, school origin p value = 0,039, entrance test grade p value = 0,006, and motivation achievement p value = 0,015, the result of multivariate analyzing produced variable which correlated with prestation index is motivation achievement with result OR = 2,84.To increase student prestation Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu needs to encourage the students to increase their need for achievement, and for other researcher to research continuosly, other factor which correlated with prestation index.
Pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia telah berhasil menurunkan tingkat fertilitas dan mortalitas, serta mampu meningkatkan angka harapan hidup, sehingga stuktur usia penduduk di suatu negara mulai bergeser menjadi semakin tingginya prosentase penduduk lanjut usia dibanding anak-anak dan remaja. Peningkatan ini mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan baik fisik, mental, psiko sosial, dan ekonomi. Untuk itu lansia memerlukan perhatian khusus sesuai dengan keberadaannya.Perubahan sosial yang terjadi memerlukan penyesuaian-penyesuaian yang kadangkala melahirkan masalah-masalah sosial dalam masyarakat. Salah satu aspek kehidupan masyarakat Minangkabau yang cenderung berubah adalah pergeseran pola kehidupan dari keluarga luas (extended family), ke bentuk keluarga inti (nuclear family). Pergeseran ini berpengaruh terhadap pola penyantunan lansia. Sebagai indikator terjadinya perubahan pola penyantunan terhadap lansia adalah dengan semakin diminatinya keberadaan panti werdha dalam masyarakat Minangkabau yang kita kenal dengan konsep keluarga luas dan kolektivitas yang tinggi.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan tipe studi kasus, untuk mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam tentang fenomena penyantunan lansia di panti werdha dalam masyarakat Minangkabau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan lansia disantuni di panti, latar belakang sosiodemografi, aspek ekonomi dan merantau terhadap penyantunan di panti, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan sosial antara sesama lansia, dengan pengasuh, dan dengan keluarga. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Populasi adalah lansia yang disantuni di panti (80 orang) dari populasi ini diambil 11 orang informan. Informan penelitian ini adalah lansia yang disantuni di panti, pengurus panti, pengasuh, dan keluarga lansia.Hasil analisis penelitian menyimpulkan empat faktor penyebab lansia disantuni di panti. Pertama, dari komposisi keluarga, tidak mempunyai anak sama sekali/semua anak sudah meninggal, atau punya anak laki-laki saja. Kedua, kesulitan ekonomi/keterlantaran. Ketiga, konflik keluarga. Keempat, sebagai ekses dari tradisi merantau dimana melemahnya hubungan kekerabatan dengan keluarga yang akan menyantuni.Komunikasi dan interaksi sosial sesama lansia berlangsung cukup baik dan dalam batas kewajaran. Konflik yang terjadi sesama lansia disebabkan masalah kebersihan kamar/wisma, kecurigaan, perasaan iri atau dengki, dan perilaku teman yang kurang baik. Bila mengalami masalah para lansia berkonsultasi dengan teman, pengasuh, keluarga, dan dipendam sendiri, teman kurang berperan untuk menolong mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami lansia.Hubungan sosial dengan pengasuh cukup harmonis. Pelayanan pengasuh berupa pelayanan kesehatan, kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, keamanan, dan pelayanan bimbingan psikologis. Tindakan pengasuh yang kurang menyenangkan bagi lansia adalah sering dipindah wismakan, mempekerjakan lansia, kesulitan memberikan asuhan karena pengasuh masih muda, dan kekakuan dalam memberikan pelayanan.Hubungan sosial dengan keluarga sudah terputus, terputusnya hubungan disebabkan konflik keluarga. Ditemukan juga hubungan sosial dengan keluarga masih berlangsung, tetapi dengan intensitas dan kualitas yang sangat rendah.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan kepada keluarga untuk memberikan perhatian dan kepedulian terhadap lansia yang disantuni di panti. Kepada pimpinan panti, untuk mengadakan pelatihan pekerjaan sosial bagi pengasuh panti, dan lebih meningkatkan supervisi atau pengawasan. Kepada pengasuh untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan lansia di panti, lebih luwes dan tidak kaku dalam memberikan pelayanan, serta lebih proaktif dalam memberikan pengasuhan. Kepada petugas administrasi diharapkan dapat mengisi data para warga binaan secara lengkap.
Analysis the Phenomenon of Elderly People Handout at Panti Werdha in Minangkabau Society (A Case Study at Panti Werdha "Sabai Nan Aluih", Sicincin, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, 2002)The development of health in Indonesia has successfully decreased fertility and mortality level, and been able to increase living-hope rate, so that the structure of the inhabitant's age in a country starts to move to a high percentage of old-aged inhabitants compared to that of children and teenagers. The increase influences various aspects of life physically, mentally, psycho-socially, and economically. Therefore, old-aged people need special attention appropriate with their existence.Social changes that happen need adoptions which sometimes cause social problems in people. One of the aspects of Minangkabau society that tends to become different is the change of extended family life pattern to nuclear family life pattern. This change effects on the pattern of old-aged people handout. The indicator of the pattern change is a high interest of panti werdha existence in Minangkabau society, known as extended family concept and high collectivity.The research used qualitative method with case study type as to get further information about old-aged people hand-out phenomenon at panti werdha in Minangkabau society. The objective of the research is to find out what factors that cause old-aged people being handed-out at the panti, socio demography background, economy aspects, home-leaving aspect, and social relation among old-aged people, between old-aged people and their nursemaid, and between old-aged people and their family. The data is collected by thorough interviews, participation observation, and documentation study. The population is the old-aged people who have need handed-out at the panti (80 people), eleven people of whom were taken as informer. The informers of the research are old-aged people handed-out at the panti, the management of the panti, the nursemaids, and the old-aged people's families.The result of the research concludes that there are four factors that cause why old-aged people are being handed-out at the panti. First, it can be seen from family composition; without any children/all children died, or with only one son. Second, economy difficulty/neglection. Third, family conflict. Fourth, it is caused by home-leaving traditions that weaken relative relationship with the family who will hand out.Communication and social interaction amongst old-aged people run well and still inside the fittingness. Conflicts that happen amongst old-aged people are caused by the room cleanliness, suspiciousness, jealousy, and bad friend behavior. If the old-aged people have problems, they consult with their friends, nursemaid, family, and they keep with themselves. Friends, how ever, have fewer roles to help overcoming their problems.Social relation with the nursemaids is quite harmonic. The nursemaid service are such as health service, self-sanitary & environmental sanitary, security, and psychological guidance service. The uncomfortable behavior of the nursemaids is moving the old-aged people to another room often, employing them, having difficulty of taking care because the nursemaid is still young and giving service stiffly.Social relation with the family has been cut off, caused by a family conflict. This research also found that social relation still goes on but with low intensity and quality.Based on the research, it is suggested that the family gives attention and care to old-aged people handed-out at the panti. The head of the panti should hold training for Social Workers for the nursemaids. The head of the panti should also improve their supervision or controlling. The nursemaids should participate in old-aged people's activities/events at the panti, they should be more flexible and not stiff while giving the service, more pro-active while taking care of the old-aged people. The administration staff should fill the data of the panti inhabitant completely.
Program Pendidikan Diploma III Keperawatan Kelas Khusus Rumah Sakit adalah suatu program pendidikan yang bertujuan menghasilkan tenaga perawat profesional pemula, bagi para perawat yang telah bekerja di rumah sakit, namun dasar pendidikan keperawatannya lulusan SPK dan SPR. Para lulusan D III Keperawatan diharapkan mampu menguasai pengetahuan, memperbaiki sikap dan terampil dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan kepada pasien dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan. Dalam proses keperawatan menekankan pada pentingnya komunikasi untuk memahami keadaan pasien, untuk itu perlu menggunakan komunikasi interpersonal yang bersifat terapeutik. Komunikasi terapeutik ini merupakan kegiatan yang tidak terpisahkan dari asuhan keperawatan, guna menjaga mutu pelayanan keperawatan secara komprehensif dan profesional. Namun pada kenyataannya, sampai saat ini masih dirasakan adanya ketidakadekuatan dalam praktek/pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik oleh perawat di Rumah Sakit Umum, walaupun mereka telah mendapatkan teori mengenai hal tersebut.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk diperolehnya informasi mengenai prraktek/pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik, dan melihat hubungan antara umur, Jenis kelamin, pengetahuan, sikap, fasilitas, peran pembimbing klinik dengan praktek / pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik daIam asuhan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Kota Bogor.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik yang menggunakan rancangan penelitian Cross Sectional. Populasi dan sampelnya adalah mahasiswa tingkat III kelas khusus rumah sakit, Akper Depkes Bogor tahun 2002, sejumlah 100 orang (total sample). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara dan self assessment. Data kemudian diolah secara statistik dengan tehnik Chi-square dan Regresi Logistik. Analisis data terdiri dari analisis univariat, bivariat dan multivariat.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebesar 62 % responden melakukan praktek komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik. Dari hasil analisis bivariat diketahui bahwa variabel umur mempunyai p value = 0,0035, sedangkan pengetahuan , sikap, dan peran pembimbing klinik masing-masing mempunyai p value = 0,000 , yang berarti mempunyai hubungan bermakna dengan praktik komunikasi terapeutik. Hasil analisis multivariat dengan regresi logistik, menunjukkan ada tiga dari enam variabel yang berhubungan bermakna dengan praktek komunikasi terapeutik, yaitu umur dengan OR 43,966 (95% CI :3,538 - 546,278), pengetahuan dengan OR 9,057 (95% CI : 1,412 --58,094), dan peran pembimbing klinik dengan OR 49,193 (95% Cl : 5,631 - 429.690 ). Dari ketiga variabel tersebut yang paling berhubungan untuk melaksanakan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik adalah peran pembimbing klinik.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis sarankan bagi dosen pemberi materi komunikasi terapeutik agar penyajiannya lebih mudah dipahami mahasiswa, maka perlu dimodifikasi dengan alat bantu (pemutaran video, peragaan oleh dosen, mahasiswa mempraktekkan di laboratorium sekolah). Pada saat praktek di ruang rawat, pembimbing klinik menjadi model praktek komunikasi terapeutik, sehingga mahasiswa mendapat pengalaman nyata yang positif. Bagi manajer keperawatan rumah sakit agar memberikan penilaian berkala melalui atasan langsung kepada perawat yang mempraktekkan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik.
Factors related with Student's Perception to Implementation of Therapeutic Communication in Nursing Care among Hospital Special Class at Academy of Nursing in Bogor in 2002The Program of Diploma III in Nursing Hospital Special Class is an educational program with the aim to produce junior professional nurses. It is followed by nurses who have been working at the hospital, but their nursing educational background from - SPK and SPR. Finally, the graduations of the program are required to master the nursing knowledge, be better in attitude/ behavior, and skillful in applying practice by nursing process approach. In the nursing care process is stressed in the importance of communication, in order to comprehend the patient's condition. That's the interpersonal therapeutic communication, which is inseparable activity in nursing care to keep up good quality in comprehensive and professional nursing. In fact; the implementation of therapeutic communication is still weakness, although the nurses had known the theories.The objective of this research is to obtain information about therapeutic communication implementation, and to examine the relation between nurse's characteristic including: age, gender, knowledge, attitude, facilities, and clinical instructor role with the implementation of therapeutic communication in nursing practice at the general hospitals in Bogor.This is an analytic research that using Cross Sectional Design. Population and samples were students of grade HI in hospital special class, Academy of Nursing Bogor in the year 2002, there were 100 persons (Total sample). Data collecting was carried out by questionnaire, interview and self assessment. The data then statistically processed applying Chi-square ang Logistic Regression Techniques. The data analysis consists of univariate, bivariate and multivariate.The result of this research showed that more than half of respondents (62 %) are well in implementing therapeutic communication. From the bivariate analysis is known that variable of age has p- value = 0, 0035, while variable of knowledge, attitude and clinical instructor role each has p- value = 0,000. It means there are significant relationships with implementation of therapeutic communication. The outcome of multivariate analysis applying Logistic Regression Techniques, shown that 3 variables have significant relationship with therapeutic communication practice. They are age with OR 43,966 (95% Cl: 3,538 - 546,278), knowledge OR 9,057 (95% CI: 1,412 - 58,094), and clinical instructor role OR 49,193 (95% CI : 5,631 - 429,696).Based on this research, it is recommended to the lecturer of communication to modify their method of teaching by audio visual aid (AVA), like watching video and practice in the laboratory. Clinical instructor is being role model of therapeutic communication in nursing practice area. So the students have positive real experience. For the management of hospital is recommended giving therapeutic communication evaluation periodically, with the supervision of the direct manager of the nurses. For the better/best nurses who implementing therapeutic communication, give her/him reward or incentive.
Tesis ini merupakan hasil penelilian terhadap mahasiswa tingkat III Akper di Propinsi Banten yang dilatar belakangi hasil studi pendahuluan yang menunjukkan rendahnya indeks prestasi mahasiswa dikaitkan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional dan pendidikan keperawatan.Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan indeks prestasi menurut karakteritik dan faktor internal mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang datanya didapatkan melalui cara responden mengisi sendiri kuesioner yang disebarkan dan studi doktunentasi kemudian dilakukan uji statistik untuk analisis univariat, bivariat, dan mul.tivariat dan hasilnya disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan narasi yang dilengkapi dengan pembahasan setiap variabel penelitian.Dari hasil analisis univariat didapatkan bahwa mayoritas responden berumur muda dan jenis kelamin perempuan, sedangkan menurut asal SLTA didapatkan hasil sebagian besar responden berasal dari SMU Negeri. Setengah dari responden termasuk kategori tinggi. pada variabel nilai SUB, motivasi, minat, dan bakat, serta lebih dan setengah responden mempersepsikan baik terhadap proses belajar mengajar di Akper masing-masing, namun hanya 37,5% responden yang mendapat indeks prestasi kualifkasi B.Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa umur muda dan jenis kelamin perempuan rata-rata indeks prestasinya lebih tinggi daripada responden yang berumur tua dan lain-laki. Responden yang berasal dari SLTA (SMU/MA) Negeri rata-rata indeks prestasinya lebih tinggi daripada mereka yang berasal dari SLTA (swasta). Demikian juga responden yang nilai STTB, motivasi, minat, bakat dan persepsi terhadap PBM tinggi/baik mendapatkan rata-rata indeks prestasi lebih tinggi pula.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan kepada mahasiswa supaya belajar lebih tekun dan melengkapi catatan agar mendapatkan prestasi yang baik, sedangkan saran bagi institusi pendidikan agar meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam mengajar, melengkapi fasilitas belajar yang diperlukan, dan meningkatkan peran pembimbing akademik. Untuk mendapatkan mahasiswa yang berprestasi baik, maka disarankan kepada Pusat Diknakes agar hasil penelitian ini dapat dipertimbangkan dalam menentukan syarat calon mahasiswa dan melakukan tes khusus seperti tes motivasi, minat, dan tes bakat pada penerimaan mahasiswa baru serta mengadakan pendidikan tambahan bagi dosen untuk meningkatkan. kemampuan dosen sesuai dengan bidang ilmu yang diminatinya.Pustaka 42: 82-2001
Students' Internal Factor Analysis and Study Achievement at the Academic of Nursing, Province of Banten, 2002The thesis represented the results of research done at the third grade students of the Academic of Nursing, Province of Banten. It was based on the background of a preliminary study, which proved that the GPA students had performed a low standard in connection with the goal of the national and nursing education.This research generally intended to find out the differences of GPA, based on the student's characteristics and the internal factors. This research used the analytic observational planning with cross sectional approach. Data were collected from questioners filled by the respondents themselves and documentation study, cross sectional approach for statistical test using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results were presented in tables and narration completed with analysis of every variables of the research.The result found from the univariate analysis, showed that the majority of the respondents were female and their ages were very young, while according to their high school originated, it was found that most of the respondents came from public school. Half of the respondents were high in the variables of school grade certificate, motivation, interest and talent, along with more than half of them percept good conduct in learning and teaching process at each of the Academic of Nursing, but only 37,5 % of the respondents got " B" qualification of GPA.The result of bivariate analysis, showed that young aged and female respondents indicated that the average of GPA were higher than older aged and male respondents. Respondents, who came from public high school, have the average of GPA higher than those who came from private schools. The same goes for respondents with high score in school grade certificate, motivation, and interest with high and good perception of teaching and learning achievement had the average of GPA also higher.Based on the results, it was recommended to the students that they have to study harder and complete their notes to achieve better performance, as for the educational institute, recommendation to improve the teaching staffs' performance in teaching, and to complete the required educational facilities and also to improve the role of the academic tutors. To get students with good performances, it was suggested to the Center of Health school grade certificate, motivation, interest with high and good perception of teaching and learning achievement had the average of GPA also higher.Based on the results, it was recommended to the students that they have to study harder and complete their notes to achieve better performance, as for the educational institution, recommendation to improve the teaching staffs' performance in teaching, and to complete the required educational facilities and also to improve the role of the academic tutors. To get students with good performances, it was suggested to the Center of Health Manpower Training of the Ministry of Health also to consider this research in deciding the requirements of the candidate students and to apply special tests for motivation, interest and talent at students' admittance and also to implement further education for the teaching staffs in developing their performances in accordance with their majoring science of interest.References : 41 (1982-2001)
Dewasa ini di Indonesia ada sekitar 19 % bayi lahir dengan berat lahir rendah kurang dari 2500 gram. BBLR merupakan salah satu faktor penting kematian neonatal dan juga sebagai determinan yang cukup bermakna bagi kematian bayi dan balita. Penyumbang kematian BBLR adalah prematuxitas, infeksi, asfiksia lahir, hipotermia dan pemberian ASI yang kurang adekuat.BBLR di Kabupaten Bogor memberi sumbangan atas kejadian kematian bayi sementara informasi secara mendalam mengenai perilalcu ibu-ibu dalam merawat BBLR belum diperoleh. Karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalan ingin memperoleh informasi secara rnendalam perilaku ibu-ibu dalam merawat BBLR di Kabupaten Bogor tahun 2002. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan alat pengumpul data berupa pedoman wawancara mendalam dan fokus group diskusi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan terhadap 15 informan kunci dan 43 ibu BBLR Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis isi (content analysis).Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa karakteristik sosio demografi informan bervariasi dalam hal umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan jumlah anak. Pengetahuan ibu BBLR tentang perawatan BBLR rendah, hampir seluruh ibu BBLR setuju terhadap bayi yang dihangatkan dengan botol berisi air panas. Sebagian besar tidak setuju terhadap bayi yang didekapkan ke dada ibunya (Metode Kanguru) dan tidak setuju terhadap bayi yang diberikan makanan (pisang) terlalu dini. Hampir seluruh ibu BBLR tidak setuju terhadap perawatan tali pusat yang tidak higienes (diberi abu gosok). Namun demikian masih ada yang membubuhi tali pusat dengan abu kayu bakar, asam dicampur air. Ibu BBLR setuju terhadap upaya pencegahan penyakit. Dikalangan ibu BBLR masih ditemukan kepercayaan membawa anaknya keluar harus setelah 40 hari. Sebagian besar ibu BBLR menggunakan cara lama atau tardisional dalam mencegah dan menangani hipotermia. Pada umumnya ibu BBLR memberikan kolostrum pada bayinya, namun demikian sebelum ASI keluar bayi diberikan air atau madu. ASI mulai diberikan paling banyak pada hari ke dua, dan mereka menyusui bayinya sampai 2 tahun. Sebagian besar ibu muda/baru menikah tidak melakukan perawatan tali pusatnya, tetapi oleh dukun atau orang tuanya dan petugas kesehatan. Tali pusat dirawat menggunakan alkohol atau betadin. Pada umumnya ibu BBLR membawa bayinya yang sakit ke petugas kesehatan dan selebihnya mengobati sendiri dengan ramuan, membeli obat di warung atau toko obat, rninum obat untuk bayi yang sakit, dan membawanya ke dukun. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan untuk merawat BBLR tidak sulit didapat. Beberapa faktor penghambat adalah masih adanya kepercayaan, ketidaktahuan ibu, pengaruh otang tua dan dukun, serta faktor ekonomi. Sementara faktor pendukung adalah ibu berpengalaman dalam merawat bayi serta adanya. dukungan keluarga dalam merawat bayi.Beberapa saran diajukan 1) Depkes R1 dapat mengembangkan prototife atau model media tentang perawatan BBLR. 2) Dinkes Bogor menindaklanjuti pembuatan media dengan menggunakan bahasa dan budaya lokal, pelatihan bagi pengelola program kesehatan ibu dan anak tingkat kabupaten dan tingkat Puskesmas tentang manajemen laktasi dan Perawatan Bayi Lekat serta monitoring dari bidan koordinator kabupaten terhadap bidan puskesmas. 3) Puskesmas Citemeup, Leuwiliang dan Jasinga, perlu adanya monitoring dari kordinator bidan Puskesmas terhadap bidan di desa, bidan di desa memberi contoh kepada dukun bayi cara mencegah hipotermia, Perawatan Bayi Lekat dan ASI eksklusif serta perlunya pendidikan kesehatan bagi ibu-ibu hamil tentang cara mencegah hipotermia, Perawtan Bayi Lekat dan ASI eksklusif di Puskesmas, Posyandu maupun Kelompok Peminat Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak.
Recently, in Indonesia there are about 19 % babies have low birth weight with less than 2500 gram. Low birth weight (LBW) is one of important factor in neonatal mortality and also as determinant factor for infant and babies under tive mortality. The main causation of mortality in low birth weight is pre-term delivery, infection, asphyxia, hypothermia and inadequate breast feeding.In Bogor, LBW is one of baby mortality factor, while detail information about women?s behavior in caring their babies not found yet. Because of willing to know detail information of women?s behavior in taking care LBW in Bogor in 2002, so that the type of the research is qualitative rsearch, collected data by using indepth interview and discussion group focus. Collecting the data is conducted to 15 key informants and 43 women whose LBW. To analyze the data, it is used content analysis.Based on the research, there is some sociodemography characteristic of informants in age, education, occupation, number of children, babies birth weight and care givers. Women?s knowlegde in caring LBW is low, most of them agree in waming the baby with hot water. Some of them do not agree in Kangaroo Mother Care in their breast and do not agree in giving feed banana in early. Almost all of mowen do not agree toward unhygienic placenta care. Otherwise, there is some women mix placenta with ash, and mix with tamarind water. LBW women agree in preventing the diseases. There is still a belief in women having LBW that they may take their babies out of home alter 40 days of delivery. Some of them apply traditional method in preventing hypothermia Commonly, they give eolostrum to their babies but previously giving them water or honey before breast out in the first time. Most of them give breast feeding to their baby in the second day, and give it until 2 years. Most of young women do not give placenta care, as their parents or traditional midwife do. Using bethadine or alcohol to clean the placenta Generally, women having LBW take their unhealthy baby to the hospital but some of them self-curing by their own made medicine, buy the generic medicine in the shop, even take them to traditional midwife. Ingredient for medicine is not difficult to find. Some of the LBW obstacles are traditional belief, lack of knowledge, parent and traditional midwife influence, and economical problem. While the effort factor are experienced women and family support in caring the baby.Some suggestions are recommended, namely : (1) Health Department of Rl can develop prototype or media model for LBW care. (2) Health Instance of Bogor can follow up making media by using local language and culture, training of location management and Kangoroo Mother Care for conductor of women and baby health in district level and Health Center and also monitoring of midwife coordinator to midwife to midwife in district. (3) In Citeureup, Leuwiliang, and Jasinga Health Center, monitoring of midwife coordinator to midwife in the village is needed, how they give demontration to traditional midwife, how to prevent hypotennia, Kangoroo Mother Care and exclusive breast feeding. Furthennore, giving health education for pregnant women in preventing hypoterrnia, kangoroo mother care and giving exclusive breast feeding in Health Center, integrated service post or group of women and baby health lover.
