Sugar-Sweetened Beverages (SSB) are beverages that contain added sugars. Excessive consumption of SSB can have an impact on health. Some of the effects caused by SSB include obesity, fatty liver, type II diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, nutritional deficiencies, and dental caries. The aim of this research is to determine the differences in the proportion of Sugar-Sweetened Beverages consumption based on individual and environmental factors among students of the FKM UI in 2023. This study uses a cross-sectional study design with a sample size of 194 individuals. Data was collected through self-administered online questionnaires completed by the respondents. The results indicate that 58.8% of FKM UI students consume SSB at a high level, which means they consume SSB six or more times per week. The bivariate analysis shows a significant difference in proportions between knowledge related to nutrition information labels, self-efficacy, stress levels, and the availability of SSB at home with SSB consumption. The researcher suggests that students limit their SSB intake to avoid excessive consumption by choosing alternative beverages instead.
