Quality of life is the functional condition of the elderly which includes physical health, psychological health, elderly social relationships, as well as sexual activity, and environmental conditions. Population growth rate in South Tangerang is the fastest (3.36%) compared to other regencies / cities in Banten province. Life expectancy in 2015 is the highest compared to other regions in Banten which reached 72.2 years. Approximately 5% of the population in South Tangerang is over 60 years old (BPS, 2016) and 0.8% of the total elderly people in Tangerang Selatan prefer to stay in the orphanage because they feel have many friends for activities, worshiping and eliminate loneliness. This study aims to determine the quality of life of the elderly and the factors related to the quality of life of elderly living in the werdha orphanage of Tangerang Selatan region. Cross-sectional study design was used in 144 selected randomly elderly from 4 orphanages in South Tangerang. Data collected using interview method using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using multiple logistic regression test. The results showed that 74.3% of elderly people living in the orphanage of Tangerang Selatan have quality of life, elderly education is a factor related to the quality of life of the elderly (p = 0,003; OR 3,22; 95% CI 1,49-6, 97). Elderly with a high education has a 3,2 times more quality of life than the poorly educated elderly.

The focus of this study is discusses about the effects of long-term contraception (MKJP) on fertility in young women aged 15 to 24 who are married. The implementation of the family planning program until now can’t control the fertility in Indonesia, and can’t reached the target by Indonesia government, seen from the TFR in Indonesia until now was 2.4. This condition differs from reaching the level of contraceptive use (CPR), which is higher than the goal, one of the causes is still low expectations of knowledge and attitudes using the MKJP contraceptive method as the choice of the best contraceptive tool compared to others. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design, sampel in this research was 1396 respondent. The results have a relation signifikan between and the use of MKJP on the fertility of married female adolescents in Indonesia after control the ideal number of children with OR 3.4-fold, so goverment must in order to improve the quality of KB expecially MKJP services.
IDHS-ARH 2017 reveals a decrease in the intention to use contraception, which mainly occurs in youth men. This study aims to obtain a determinant of the intention to use contraception in unmarried men aged 15-24 years in urban and rural areas of Indonesia. Design of this research is a cross sectional. Data were analyzed using logistic regression. Results: The proportion that expressed a intention to use contraception in the future was 76% in urban and 71.2% in rural areas. Determinant of the intention to use contraception in urban areas are influenced by the highest level of education, exposure to information preventing pregnancy from school, exposure to information preventing pregnancy from television, knowledge related to preventing pregnancy, attitudes toward condoms, perception of the ideal age of having a first child, perception of the ideal number of children. As for rural areas, it is influenced by the highest level of education (respondents who graduated from high school), exposure to information to prevent pregnancy from television, knowledge related to preventing pregnancy, attitude to condoms, perception of the ideal number of children. The perception of the ideal number of children is the dominant factor for intention to use contraception in urban areas, while in rural areas attitudes toward condoms are the dominant factor for intention to use contraception.
The population of Indonesia from 2010-2017 continues to increase from 238 million to 261 million in 2017 with a population growth rate of 1.34% per year and maternal mortality rate is 359 per 100,000 live births. The percentage of drop out of family planning participation is 34% and the percentage of married women aged 15-49 with unmet need for family planning is 11% . This study aims to analyze the determinants of the choice type of contraception in women of childbearing age. Variables observed were age, education, work status, domicile, economic status, number of children, gender of children, place of family planning services, and ownership of national health insurance (JKN) women of childbearing age. The data used are Susenas Data (National Socio- Economic Survey) in 2017 and analyzed using multivariate logistic regression. The results explain that the variables of maternal age, education, work status, domicile, economic status, number of children, gender of children, place of family planning services, and ownership of national health insurance (JKN) influence the choice of birth control methods for women of childbearing age in Indonesia. From the results of this finding, it is expected that the government will be able to improve the health education movement for women of childbearing age to be willing to use family planning and increase the number of trained personnel, especially village midwives
