Abstrak:
Pentingnya pemahaman potensi rute transmisi selain melalui droplet dan/atau kontak langsung, yang berfungsi untuk menghindari kluster baru dan mengurangi kejadian COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai eksistensi dari SARS-CoV-2 pada air limbah dan saluran pembuangan air limbah. Terdapat 20 studi yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini yang membahas mengenai rute transmisi, metode deteksi, karakteristik, dampak, dan metode disinfeksi SARS-CoV2 pada air limbah. Hasil menunjukkan telah terbukti adanya RNA SARS-CoV-2 pada tinja dan air limbah, namun hingga kini belum ada kasus COVID-19 yang terbukti menular melalui fecal-oral atau kontak dengan air limbah. Pada umumnya, metode deteksi yang digunakan untuk menguji keberadaan virus di air limbah adalah uji deteksi asam nukleat. Virus RNA dipengaruhi oleh temperatur, konsentrasi padatan tersuspensi, pH, dan disinfektan yang digunakan. Adapun disinfektan yang dapat digunakan, yaitu penyinaran UV, ozonisasi, dan klorinasi. Data SARS-CoV-2 pada air limbah yang diperoleh dapat digunakan untuk melakukan Wastewater-Based Surveillance sebagai peringatan dini akan terjadinya pandemi.

Abstrak:
Instensifikasi pertanian merupakan langkah peningkatan produk pertanian, sepertipengolahan lahan pertanian dan pembasmian hama atau penyakit pada tanaman.Pestisida dapat membasmi hama dalam waktu singkat namun berisiko buruk terhadapkesehatan dan lingkungan. Penggunaan pestisida pada lahan pertanian dipengaruhi olehpengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku petani dalam penggunaan pestisida serta memprediksiberapa banyak asupan cabai, kubis, dan kentang yang dikonsumsi petani menimbulkanrisiko gangguan kesehatan di Kecamatan Cikajang, Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian inimenggunakan disain cross sectional dengan pendekatan analisis risiko kesehatanlingkungan (ARKL). Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 105 responden petani danpenyemprot tanaman menggunakan pestisida. Responden dipilih menggunakan metodepurposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil univariat, 93% berpengetahuan kurang baik,68% bersikap baik, dan 63% berperilaku kurang baik. Berdasarkan hasil bivariat, bahwafaktor tingkat pengetahuan berhubungan signifikan dengan nilai risiko (RQ) gangguankesehatan (p = 0,042; OR = 1,69). Hasil ini menunjukkan perlunya penyuluhan tentangpenggunaan pestisida dan pengawasan aktivitas petani agar risiko gangguan kesehatandapat dicegah.Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, Sikap, Perilaku, Pestisida, Risk Quotient, ARKL

Pesticides caneradicate the pest in a short time but bad risk to health and the environment. The use ofpesticides on agricultural land is affected by the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior offarmers. This study aims to determine knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of farmers inthe use of pesticides and to predict how much intake of chili, cabbage, and potatoes areconsumed by the farmer raises the risk of health problems in the district Cikajang,Garut. This study used cross sectional design with environmental health risk analysisapproach (ARKL). The research sample of 105 respondents of farmers and cropspraying using pesticides. Abstrak:
Filariasis atau kaki gajah ialah penyakit menular menahun yang disebabkan oleh infeksi cacing filaria dan ditularkan melalui gigitan berbagai jenis nyamuk. Penularan filariasis terjadi bila terdapat sumber penular yaitu manusia dan hewan (hospes), parasit (cacing filaria), vektor yaitu nyamuk yang infektif, manusia yang rentan, serta kondisi lingkungan yang sangat potensial untuk perkembang-biakan vektor, perilaku masyarakat yang berisiko lebih sering kontak dengan nyamuk. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis faktor risiko lingkungan dan dinamika penularan dengan kejadian filariasis. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian Analitik observasional dengan desain case-control menggunakan pendekatan study retrospektif yaitu untuk menganalisis efek penyakit atau status kesehatan pada saat ini dan mengukur besar faktor risiko yang berpengaruh terhadap kejadian filariasis pada masa yang lalu. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 126 responden, dengan perbandingan kasus : kontrol (1:2), dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi. Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan Keberadaan rawa (P:0,000;OR:5,200), Keberadaan sawah (P:0,041;OR:8,200), Keberadaan hutan semak (P:0,001;OR:6,460), Jenis Pekerjaan (P:0,000;OR:9,500), Tingkat Pengetahuan (P:0,000; OR:5,399), Kebiasaan keluar rumah malam hari (P:0,000;OR:7,300), Kebiasaan memakai obat anti nyamuk (P:0,004;OR:3,300), Kebiasaan menggunakan kelambu (P:0,000;OR:7,045), Keberadaan vektor (P:0,000;OR:7,263), dengan kejadian Filariasis, dan pada uji regresi logistic menunjukan faktor risiko paling signifikan Keberadaan hutan semak (P:0,002;OR:48,700), Jenis Pekerjaan (P:0,004;OR:39,919), Tingkat Pengetahuan (P:0,013;OR:11,206), Kebiasaan Keluar rumah malam hari (P:0,040;OR: 5,833), Kebiasaan memakai obat anti nyamuk (P:0,005;OR:10,680), dan Keberadaan vektor (P:0,005;OR:12,036) dengan kejadian Filariasis. Kesimpulan ada hubungan faktor risiko lingkungan dan dinamika penularan dengan kejadian Filariasis, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pencegahan dengan mengurangi faktor risiko dan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang upaya promosi dan pencegahan penularan filariasis. Filariasis or elephantiasis is a chronic infectious disease caused by filarial worm infection and is transmitted through the bite of various types of mosquitoes. Transmission of filariasis occurs when there is a transmitting source of humans and animals (the host), parasites (filari worms), vectors of infective mosquitoes, vulnerable humans, and potential environmental conditions for vector breeding, risky behavior of peoples more frequent contacts With mosquitoes. The purpose of the study was to analyze the environmental risk factors and the dynamics of transmission with filariasis incidence. This research method is observational analytic research with case-control design using retrospective study approach that is to analyze the effect of disease or health status at this time and measure big risk factor which have influence to filariasis incident in the past. The sample counted 126 respondents, with case comparison: control (1: 2), conducted by interview and observation. Chi-square test (P: 0,041, OR: 5,200), Presence of paddy field (P: 0,041, OR: 8,200), Presence of paddy field (P: 0,001, OR: 6,460), Type of Work (P: 0.000; OR: 9,500), Knowledge Level (P: 0,000; OR: 5,399), Nighttime out habits (P: 0,000; OR: 7,300), Habits of using anti-mosquito (P: 0,004; OR: 3,300), Habit (P: 0,000; OR: 7,045), presence of vector (P: 0,000; OR: 7,263), with occurrence of filariasis, and on logistic regression test showed the most significant risk factor Presence of bush forest (P: 0,002; OR: 48,700) (P: 0,004; OR: 39,919), Knowledge Level (P: 0,013; OR: 11,206), Night Out Habits (P: 0,040; OR: 5,833), Habits of using mosquito repellent (P: 0,005; OR: 10,680), and the presence of a vector (P: 0.005; OR: 12,036) with filariasis occurrence. Conclusion there is a relationship of environmental risk factors and the dynamics of transmission with filariasis occurrence, so it is necessary to do prevention efforts by reducing risk factors and education to the public about the promotion and prevention of filariasis transmission. Abstrak:
Indonesia merupakan pemain besar dalam industri sepatu di dunia, yaitu terbesar kelima setelah Cina, India, Vietnam dan Brasil. Perakitan sepatu menggunakan perekat atau lem yang mengandung senyawa organik volatil (diantaranya benzena, toluen, dan xylen)dengan kandungan benzena di dalam lem diketahui mencapai 2%. Benzena dapat masuk secara tidak sempurna dengan cepat ke tubuh manusia dan hewan melalui pajanan pernafasanpajanan benzena pada manusia terbukti berhubungan dengan berbagai penyakit akut dan parah termasuk kanker dan anemia aplastik. Selain itu benzena dan metabolitnya juga terbukti dalam peningkatan stres oksidatif yang terlihat dari peningkatan malondialdehid (MDA) dan penurunan antioksidan dalam tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi konsentrasi benzena di udara tempat kerja dan hubungan antara benzena di dalam tubuh melalui pengukuran biomarker S-Phenylmercapturic Acid (S-PMA) terhadap stres oksidatif melalui pengukuran kadar plasma MDA pekerja bengkel sandal/sepatu. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi cross-sectional pada sepuluh bengkel sandal/sepatu di Desa Sukajaya, Kecamatan Tamansari, Kabupaten Bogor pada Maret-Mei 2018. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 pekerja diambil dengan metode total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata konsentrasi benzena di udara empat kerja masih dibawah NAB yang ditentukan oleh Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja No. 13 Tahun 2011 yaitu 0,002066 ppm dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara konsentrasi S-PMA dalam urin terhadap kadar MDA plasma darah. Sementara itu ada hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel kebiasaan olahraga terhadap kadar MDA plasma darah namun tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel konsentrasi status merokok, konsumsi kopi, dan IMT pekerja dengan kadar MDA plasma darah pekerja. Konsentrasi benzena masih dalam batas aman namun tetap harus diminimalisasi karena benzena merupakan zat karsinogenik yang dapat terakumulasi dalam tubuh sehingga diperlukan pencegahan seperti perbaikan ventilasi, pengaturan jam kerja, dan pelarangan merokok saat bekerja.

Shoe assembly using adhesives or glue that contain volatile organic compounds (such as benzene, toluene and xylen) with benzene content in the glue is known to reach 2%. Benzene can enter imperfectly rapidly into the human body and animals through inhalation exposure, human benzene exposure is shown to be associated with various acute and severe diseases including cancer and aplastic anemia. In addition, benzene and its metabolites are also proven in increased oxidative stress seen from increased malondialdehyde (MDA) and decreased antioxidants in the body. This study aims to identify benzene concentrations in the air of the workplace and the relationship between benzene in the body through measurement of S-Phenylmercapturic Acid (S-PMA) biomarkers against oxidative stress through measurement of MDA plasma level of sandal / shoe workers.This study used cross-sectional study on ten shoe workshops in Desa Sukajaya , Kecamatan Tamansari, Kabupaten Bogor from March to May 2018. The number of samples as much as 64 workers taken by total sampling method. The results showed an average concentration of benzene in the air of the workplace is still under the treshold value which determined by Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja No. 13 Year 2011 (0.002066 ppm) and there are no significant relationship between concentrations of S-PMA in urine against the levels of MDA blood plasma. Meanwhile, there is a significant relationship between exercise habit variables against blood plasma MDA level but no significant relationship between variable length of work, smoking status, coffee consumption, and BMI of workers againist blood plasma MDA levels of workers.The concentration of benzene is still below the treshold limit but should be minimized because benzene is a carcinogenic substance that can accumulate in the body so that the preventive action such as improvement of ventilation, regulation of working hours, and a prohibition on smoking at work should be applied.

Abstrak:
COVID-19 ditetapkan menjadi pandemi global oleh WHO sejak 11 Maret 2020. Infeksi COVID-19 disebabkan oleh virus SARS-Cov-2 yang dapat menular dari manusia ke manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi gambaran hubungan faktor iklim dan PM2,5 dengan kasus konfirmasi COVID-19 di Kota Surabaya tahun 2020. Desain penelitian menggunakan studi ekologi time series analysis dengan durasi penelitian mulai Maret hingga November 2020. Data sekunder diperoleh dari institusi pemerintahan terkait, yaitu BMKG Perak I Kota Surabaya, DLH Surabaya, dan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu udara, kelembaban udara, curah hujan, dan konsentrasi PM2,5 memiliki hubungan dengan kasus konfirmasi COVID-19 dengan kekuatan hubungan masing-masing adalah 0,305, 0,249, 0,329, dan 0,114. Semua hubungan tersebut memiliki arah yang negatif. Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya dapat membantu pembuatan kebijakan dan persiapan pencegahan penularan COVID-19 dengan ketersediaan informasi kelembaban udara, suhu udara, dan curah hujan beberapa hari kedepan melalui kerja sama dengan BMKG. This study found that negative correlation between climate factor, like air temperature, humidity, precipitation, concentration of PM2,5 with confirmation cases of COVID-19. Dampak pencemaran udara telah menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas udara yang dapat menimbulkan berbagai gangguan kesehatan khususnya Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA). Berdasarkan hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar 2018, Provinsi DKI Jakarta merupakan provinsi 10 tertinggi dengan prevalensi ISPA sebesar 13,2%. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kajian lebih mendalam mengenai korelasi antara kualitas udara ambien dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di Provinsi DKI Jakarta Tahun 2018-2022. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi ekologi dengan analisis time series. Data yang digunakan adalah data bulanan jumlah kasus ISPA balita dan data kualitas udara ambien diperoleh dari data Indeks Standar Pencemaran Udara (ISPU) yang kemudian dikonversi menjadi nilai konsentrasi per bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata jumlah kasus ISPA pada balita di Provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2018-2022 sebesar 6.048 kasus dengan jumlah kasus tertinggi sebesar 65.972 kasus. Konsentrasi parameter kualitas udara ambien yang melebihi baku mutu adalah parameter O3 dengan konsentrasi rata-rata sebesar 126 ug/m3. Hasil uji korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan bahwa O3 memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dan korelasi arah positif dengan nilai p=<0,001; r=0,307). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah parameter kualitas udara ambien yang memiliki hubungan dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita ialah O3, sedangkan PM10, PM2.5,NO2 dan SO2 tidak berhubungan kejadian ISPA pada balita di Provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2018-2022. Dari hasil temuan ini perlu dilakukan upaya dalam pengendalian pencemaran udara terkait parameter tersebut. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya perlu melakukan penelitian dengan rentang waktu yang lebih lama untuk melihat kekuatan hubungan antara kualitas udara ambien dan kejadian ISPA pada balita.
The impact of air pollution has caused a decrease in air quality which can cause various health problems, especially Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). Based on the results of the 2018 Basic Health Research, DKI Jakarta Province is the 10th highest province with an ARI prevalence of 13.2%. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a more in-depth study of the correlation between ambient air quality and the incidence of ARI in toddlers in DKI Jakarta Province in 2018-2022. The design of this research is an ecological study with time series analysis. The data used are monthly data on the number of cases of ARI under five and ambient air quality data obtained from Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) data which is then converted into concentration values per month. The results of this study show that the average number of ARI cases in toddlers in DKI Jakarta Province in 2018-2022 was 6,048 cases with the highest number of cases of 65,972 cases. The concentration of ambient air quality parameters that exceed quality standards is the O3 parameter with an average concentration of 126 ug/m3. The results of the Spearman Rank correlation test show that O3 has a significant relationship and a positive directional correlation with a value of p = <0.001; r=0.307). The conclusion of this study is that ambient air quality parameters that have a relationship with the incidence of ARI in toddlers are O3, while PM10, PM2.5, NO2 and SO2 are not related to the incidence of ARI in under five in DKI Jakarta Province in 2018-2022. From these findings, efforts need to be made in controlling air pollution related to these parameters. For further researchers, it is necessary to conduct a study with a longer time span to see the strength of the relationship between ambient air quality and the incidence of ARI in toddlers.
