Peningkatan kompetensi karyawan sekarang menjadi isu penting bagi perusahaan untuk menjaga kemampuan berkompetisi guna menghadapi tantangan bisnis dalam era perdagangan babas yang akan segera datang. Undang-undang Ketenagalistrikan (baru) akan mengatur kompetisi antar pelaku bisnis tenaga listrik seperti PT PLN (Persero), swasta, termasuk koperasi dan BUMN yang lain. Melalui pembahasan bersama institusi terkait, maka Departemen Energi dan Sumberdaya Mineral secara bertahap mempersiapkan standarisasi kompetensi tenaga teknik ketenagalistrikan.Analisis kompetensi K3 pada Pengawas kegiatan penyediaan tenaga listrik di PT PLN (Persero) bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kompetensi K3 pada Pengawas pada beberapa Unit pengelola instalasi yang dipilih untuk melakukan penelitian yang dapat mewakili kegiatan penyediaan tenaga listrik di PT PLN (Persero), sekaligus untuk menggambarkan tingkat kompetensi pada kegiatan pembangkitan, transmisi dan distribusi tenaga listrik.Dengan menggunakan referensi elemen kompetensi dan kriteria unjuk kerja dari kompetensi K3 umum (generik) untuk Pengawas (NOHSC, Australia) sebagai instrumen penelitian, dilakukan wawancara kepada para Pengawas serta kuisioner kepada para Pelaksana, kelompok kerja pengelola instalasi dan kepada para Pejabat pengelola instalasi, diperoleh bahwa rata-rata tingkat kompetensi K3 pada Pengawas kegiatan penyediaan tenaga listrik di PT PLN (Persero) dapat diklasifikasikan antara "rendah" sampai "kurang dari cukup", di mana pada kegiatan pembangkitan lebih baik dari pada kegiatan transmisi dan pada kegiatan transmisi lebih baik dari pada kegiatan distribusi.Saran pembinaan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dengan menambah wawasan pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan sikap K3 pada Pengawas, keharusan terdapatnya komitmen yang kuat terhadap K3 dari top manajemen (dukungan manajemen) dan memperhatikan tempat kerja (tantangan kegiatan atau pengaruh lingkungan).
The Analysis on Occupational Safety and Health Competency for Supevisor of Electric Energy Supply in PT PLN (Persero)Employee competency improvement is now becoming the important issues for corporations to maintain its competitive ability to meet business challenges for incoming free trade era. The (new) Electricity Act regulates the competition of electricity business players such as PT PLN (Persero), the private sector including ccoperative and other state owned corporations. Through agreements with related institutions, The Department of Mine and Energy is progressively set the standards to be used for technician competencies in electricity.The analysis on occupational health and safety (OHS) competency for Supervisor of electric energy supply in PT PLN (Persero) aims at identifying the competency level of OHS of Supervisors in a number of units chosen to investigate matters that may represent the activities of electricity supply in PT PLN, while also describing the competency levels in electricity generation, transmission and distribution.With reference to the competency elements and performance criteria for generic OHS c^mnPfencies for Supervisors (NOHSC, Australia) as research tool, interviews were conducted with Supervisors and questionnaires were given to Working groups who directly in charge for instalation maintenance administering installation and the respected Officers. The result obtained indicates that the average competency level of OHS among Supervisor of electric energy supply in PT PLN (Persero) can be classified ranging from "low" to "inadequate", whereas electricity generating activities scored higher than transmission activities, and distribution activities have the lowest score among them.Suggestions to improve competency include supplementary information of OHS knowledge, skill and attitude of Supervisors, need a strong commitment from the top management on OHS (managerial support) and awareness of the work location (in term of challenging activities and or environmental influence).
Background: The reduction of bone mass density is one of the negative impacts of lead. Lead can be found in decomposition of garbage piles at open dumping. TPA Namo Bintang had closed in 2013 but estimated that the decomposition process is still ongoing so that lead in leachate is a risk factor for people who lived around the landfill. Objective: To analyze the influence of lead against bone density. Method: This study used cross sectional design. Data collected in Desa Namo Bintang Kecamatan Pancur Batu Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara Indonesia amounted to 96 respondents who age> 18. Data collection was done by interviewed and measurement. Age, sex, body mass index, exercise, smoking habit, alcohol consumption, frequency of osteoporotic prevention food consumption, and coffee consumption was collected by interviewed while BMD was measured by QUS Densitometer (Quantitative Ultra Sound) and Lead Blood Level measured by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. Results: 24% of respondents had high lead levels, and 49% had osteoporosis. Osteoporosis was affected by age (p = 0.008) and milk consumption as osteoporotic prevention food (p = 0.002). Factors affecting bone mass density were age and milk consumption, while lead was unrelated. Suggestions: Osteoporosis can be prevented by healthy lifestyle such as exercise and consumption of foods contains calcium. Keywords: bone mass density, lead, open dumping.
Koordinasi berbagai aspek dalam sistem informasi psikotropika membutuhkan dukungan sistem informasi manajemen psikotropika yang dapat menghasilkan informasi yang lengkap, akurat dan tepat waktu. Sistem informasi ini harus mampu menyediakan laporan-laporan baik rutin maupun khusus, yang terkait dengan impor produksi dan distribusi psikotropika. Studi evaluasi sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan psikotropika di Ditwas Napza Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan guna mengevaluasi laporan psikotropika untuk mendapatkan suatu laporan yang tepat waktu dan akurat.Pendekatan kajian dengan evaluasi sistem laporan dimana data dikumpulkan melalui, telaah dokumen, pengamatan kegiatan dan fasilitas terkait, dan wawancara dengan pengelola laporan psikotropika.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laporan psikotropika belum tepat waktu dan akurat. Kurang tepat dan akuratnya laporan psikotropika disebabkan oleh mekanisme penyampaian laporan memerlukan waktu panjang sesuai dengan birokrasi yang ada dan dipengaruhi juga oleh fasilitas dan dana yang sangat terbatas.Untuk mendapatkan laporan yang tepat waktu dan akurat perlu dilakukan intervensi, faktor strategik yang perlu diintervensi adalah membuat mekanisme pengiriman baru dengan menggunakan fasilitas faximile langsung kepada Kepala Tim Pengelola Laporan dan penyediaan dana oleh Badan POM, membuat peraturan baru yang mengatur sistem pelaporan psikotropika.
The Evaluation on the Psychotropic Reporting and Recording System : The Study in National Agency of Drug and Food Control, 2002The coordination in the aspects of the psychotropic information system needs the supporting of the psychotropic management information system that is produced completely, accurately, and the up to date information. The information system must be able to supply routine and non-routine reporting, which is related with import, production, and distribution of psychotropic. The evaluation study on the psychotropic reporting and recording system in Directorate of Narcotics, Psychotropic and Addictive Substance Control, National Agency of Drug and Food Control, were aimed to evaluate of psychotropic report to get the up to date and accurate report.The assessment approach used reporting system evaluation, which data were collected to proceed i.e. to analyze the documents, to observer the related activities and facilities, and interviews to the psychotropic report officers.The results of research study have revealed that the psychotropic report is not be up to date and accurate yet. They are caused by the report-delivery mechanism inquired long time according the bureaucratic procedures and the report facilities and financial recourses are very limited.In order to acquire the up to date and accurate report has needed the intervention. The strategic factors are needed the intervention, which developed the new report-delivery mechanism used facsimile directly to Head of Reporting Handler Team and to supply budget by National Agency of Drug and Food Control, to establish the new regulation in the psychotropic reporting system.
