Akademi Keperawatan sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan di lingkungan Departemen Kesehatan memiliki peran strategis dalam mengantarkan peserta didik Akademi Keperawatan menjadi perawat profesional pemula melalui proses belajar mengajar. Keberhasilan belajar peserta didik yang dinyatakan dalam indeks prestasi (IP) akan menggambarkan kemampuan profesional mereka dimasa mendatang sebagai perawat. Permasalahan di AKPER Pemkab Labuanbatu adalah rendahnya IP peserta didik, bila hal ini dibiarkan dan tidak diperhatikan secara serius maka akan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan lulusan tenaga perawat dalam melakukan pelayanan kesehatan.Adanya masalah tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk menganalisa hubungan antara persepsi layanan pendidikan, nilai ujian masuk, dan motivasi dengan indeks prestasi belajar mahasiswa Akademi Keperawatan Pemkab Labuanbatu.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya gambaran tentang hubungan antara persepsi layanan pendidikan, nilai ujian masuk, dan motivasi dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa AKPER Pemkab Labuanbatu.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik semester I, III, dan V AKPER PemkabLabuanbatu, tahun akademik 2001/2002 sebanyak 180 mahasiswa semuanya 162 dijadikan sebagai sampleData kuantitatif yang diperoleh sebanyak 162 mahasiswa dan semuanya dijadikan sebagai sampel. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dokumen. Pengolahan dan analisa data secara Univariat, Bivariat, dan Multivariat.Hasil analisa Bivariat memperlihatkan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar adalah suku bangsa p value = 0,045, asal sekolah p value = 0,039, nilai ujian masuk p value = 0,006, dan motivasi berprestasi p value = 0,015. Hasil analisa multivariat menghasilkan variabel yang berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar ialah motivasi berprestasi dengan nilai OR = 2,84.Untuk meningkatkan indeks prestasi mahasiswa AKPER Labuanbatu perlu mendorong mahasiswa agar meningkatkan kebutuhan berprestasinya. The Relation among Perception of Education Services, Entrance Test Grade, and Motivation mib Studying Prestation Index Student of Nursing Academy Distric Office of LabuanbatuNursing Academy is one of the education institute under Departement of Health, having a strategic role to educate students of Nursing Academy to become beginner professional nurses through a studying and learning process. The success of study is indicated in Study Achievement Index, will picture their capability to become professional nurses in the future. The problem faced in the Nursing Academy of District Office of Labuanbatu is the lower Achievement Index of the student, if this things ignored and seriously not interested then influence the capability of nurse graduate in doing the public health services.The problem encourage the scientist to analyze the relation among perception of education services, entrance test graduate, and motivation mib studying prestation index student of Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu.The final aim of this research to have a picture about correlation among perseption of education services, entrance test graduate, and motivation mib studying prestation index student of Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu.The design of research used in this study is Cross Sectional. Population research are students semester I, III, and V Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu, academic years 2001/2002.The quantitative data which collected is 162 students and both of the data used as a sample.The data collected through questionnaires and document. The processed and analyzed data univariat, bivariat as well as multivariate. The analyzed bivariat result which variable showed correlation with studying index is tribe p value 0,045, school origin p value = 0,039, entrance test grade p value = 0,006, and motivation achievement p value = 0,015, the result of multivariate analyzing produced variable which correlated with prestation index is motivation achievement with result OR = 2,84.To increase student prestation Nursing Academy District Office of Labuanbatu needs to encourage the students to increase their need for achievement, and for other researcher to research continuosly, other factor which correlated with prestation index.
Pendidikan tenaga kesehatan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan tenaga kesehatan yang terampil dan bermutu dalam jumlah yang cukup dan jenis yang sesuai dengan macam pekerjaan. Dalam mengevaluasi kualitas pendidikan tenaga kesehatan, perlu dilihat dari prestasi belajar peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini prestasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel antara lain status mahasiswa, jenis kelamin, umur, tempat tinggal, motivasi, minat, persepsi terhadap dosen, dan persepsi terhadap sarana prasarana.Pada institusi pendidikan Akademi Keperawatan Raflesia, terdapat penurunan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada semester IV dimana dari 110 mahasiswa angkatan 1999/2000 terdapat 23 orang (20,9 %) mendapat nilai B (2,76 - 3,50), 86 orang (78,2 %) mendapat nilai C (2,00 - 2,75) dan 1 orang (0,9 %) mendapat nilai D (1,00 - I,99).Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian non experimental dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi, analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square dan analisa multivariat dengan regresi logistik ganda. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 110 orang responden yaitu mahasiswa angkatan 1999/2000 Akper Raflesia.Dari hasil uji bivariat terhadap 8 variabel independen ternyata hanya 2 variabel (status mahasiswa dan movitasi) yang berhubungan signifikan dengan prestasi Belajar. Dari hasil uji interaksi multivariat ternyata tidak ada interaksi antara variabel status mahasiswa dan motivasi belajar. Dari hasil akhir multivariat diketahui bahwa variabel status mahasiswa lebih dominan mempengaruhi prestasi belajar.Dilihat dari nilai Odd Ratio (OR) ternyata status mahasiswa mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu usaha untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar perlu mendapat perhatian tenaga pengajar khususnya bagi kelas regular. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan Pertama : menciptakan suasana belajar mengajar yang dapat menarik minat mahasiwa untuk belajar, Kedua : meningkatkan keinginan berprestasi mahasiswa dengan cara menciptakan kompetisi antar mahasiswa dan memberikan reward bagi yang berprestasi, Ketiga : Memberikan penugasan kepada mahasiswa sehingga mahasiswa terdorong untuk aktif bertanya dan mencari literatur-literatur berkenaan dengan penugasan tersebut. Factors Related to Studying Achievements of the Students of Raflesia Nursing School, Cimanggis-Depok, Year 2002Health education purposes to produce qualified and skillful health personnel?s in appropriate amount and of which suitable with the variety of work field. Due to the quality evaluation of health education, we need to observe based on the achievements of each of the student. In this research, studying achievements are influenced by variables which are status of the students, gender, age, residence, motivation, intent or interest, perception towards lecturers, and perception towards facility.In the education institution of Raflesia Nursing School, there's been a decrease in the studying achievements on the 4th semester which in 110 students of class of 1999/2000 there are 23 students (20,9 %) scored B (2,76 - 3,30), 86 students scored C (2,00 - 2,75), and 1 student scored D (1,00 - 1,99).The research used a non experimental research design with a cross sectional approach. Data analysis that is used is unvariat analysis with frequency distribution, bivariat analysis, with chi square examination, and multivariat analysis with double logic regression. Data gaining process is committed with a spreading of questioner to 110 respondents which are students os the class of 1999/2000 Raflesia Nursing School.From the result of bivariat exams towards to eight independent variable there are only 2 variables (status of the student and motivation) which have significant relationship with the studying achievements. From the result of multivariat interaction exams there are no relationship between the statuses of the student with studying motivation. From the final result it is discovered that variable of the status of the student is dominantly more effecting the studying achievements.Observing from the odd ratio (OR) values, the status of the student has a larger influence towards student's studying achievements. Due to this, efforts to increase studying motivation need to get the teacher's attention especially in regular classes. This effort can be done by First: To create a teaching and learning environment that can draw student's interest to study, Second: Increasing the student's wills to gain achievements by creating competition between students and giving rewards to those who gained achievements or who succeeded, Third: Give assessments to students so that it will encourage students to be more active in asking questions and in searching materials connected to the given assessments. It will be best for each lecture who teaches to be able to student's motivations in studying. Tesis ini merupakan hasil penelilian terhadap mahasiswa tingkat III Akper di Propinsi Banten yang dilatar belakangi hasil studi pendahuluan yang menunjukkan rendahnya indeks prestasi mahasiswa dikaitkan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional dan pendidikan keperawatan.Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan indeks prestasi menurut karakteritik dan faktor internal mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang datanya didapatkan melalui cara responden mengisi sendiri kuesioner yang disebarkan dan studi doktunentasi kemudian dilakukan uji statistik untuk analisis univariat, bivariat, dan mul.tivariat dan hasilnya disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan narasi yang dilengkapi dengan pembahasan setiap variabel penelitian.Dari hasil analisis univariat didapatkan bahwa mayoritas responden berumur muda dan jenis kelamin perempuan, sedangkan menurut asal SLTA didapatkan hasil sebagian besar responden berasal dari SMU Negeri. Setengah dari responden termasuk kategori tinggi. pada variabel nilai SUB, motivasi, minat, dan bakat, serta lebih dan setengah responden mempersepsikan baik terhadap proses belajar mengajar di Akper masing-masing, namun hanya 37,5% responden yang mendapat indeks prestasi kualifkasi B.Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa umur muda dan jenis kelamin perempuan rata-rata indeks prestasinya lebih tinggi daripada responden yang berumur tua dan lain-laki. Responden yang berasal dari SLTA (SMU/MA) Negeri rata-rata indeks prestasinya lebih tinggi daripada mereka yang berasal dari SLTA (swasta). Demikian juga responden yang nilai STTB, motivasi, minat, bakat dan persepsi terhadap PBM tinggi/baik mendapatkan rata-rata indeks prestasi lebih tinggi pula.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan kepada mahasiswa supaya belajar lebih tekun dan melengkapi catatan agar mendapatkan prestasi yang baik, sedangkan saran bagi institusi pendidikan agar meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam mengajar, melengkapi fasilitas belajar yang diperlukan, dan meningkatkan peran pembimbing akademik. Untuk mendapatkan mahasiswa yang berprestasi baik, maka disarankan kepada Pusat Diknakes agar hasil penelitian ini dapat dipertimbangkan dalam menentukan syarat calon mahasiswa dan melakukan tes khusus seperti tes motivasi, minat, dan tes bakat pada penerimaan mahasiswa baru serta mengadakan pendidikan tambahan bagi dosen untuk meningkatkan. kemampuan dosen sesuai dengan bidang ilmu yang diminatinya.Pustaka 42: 82-2001
Students' Internal Factor Analysis and Study Achievement at the Academic of Nursing, Province of Banten, 2002The thesis represented the results of research done at the third grade students of the Academic of Nursing, Province of Banten. It was based on the background of a preliminary study, which proved that the GPA students had performed a low standard in connection with the goal of the national and nursing education.This research generally intended to find out the differences of GPA, based on the student's characteristics and the internal factors. This research used the analytic observational planning with cross sectional approach. Data were collected from questioners filled by the respondents themselves and documentation study, cross sectional approach for statistical test using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results were presented in tables and narration completed with analysis of every variables of the research.The result found from the univariate analysis, showed that the majority of the respondents were female and their ages were very young, while according to their high school originated, it was found that most of the respondents came from public school. Half of the respondents were high in the variables of school grade certificate, motivation, interest and talent, along with more than half of them percept good conduct in learning and teaching process at each of the Academic of Nursing, but only 37,5 % of the respondents got " B" qualification of GPA.The result of bivariate analysis, showed that young aged and female respondents indicated that the average of GPA were higher than older aged and male respondents. Respondents, who came from public high school, have the average of GPA higher than those who came from private schools. The same goes for respondents with high score in school grade certificate, motivation, and interest with high and good perception of teaching and learning achievement had the average of GPA also higher.Based on the results, it was recommended to the students that they have to study harder and complete their notes to achieve better performance, as for the educational institute, recommendation to improve the teaching staffs' performance in teaching, and to complete the required educational facilities and also to improve the role of the academic tutors. To get students with good performances, it was suggested to the Center of Health school grade certificate, motivation, interest with high and good perception of teaching and learning achievement had the average of GPA also higher.Based on the results, it was recommended to the students that they have to study harder and complete their notes to achieve better performance, as for the educational institution, recommendation to improve the teaching staffs' performance in teaching, and to complete the required educational facilities and also to improve the role of the academic tutors. To get students with good performances, it was suggested to the Center of Health Manpower Training of the Ministry of Health also to consider this research in deciding the requirements of the candidate students and to apply special tests for motivation, interest and talent at students' admittance and also to implement further education for the teaching staffs in developing their performances in accordance with their majoring science of interest.References : 41 (1982-2001)
Mental health problems in workers are things that should not be underestimated because they can interfere with the productivity of workers themselves and agencies. This thesis discusses the relationship between work-life balance, motivation and demographic factors with job satisfaction of employees who work at the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection. This research is a quantitative study with cross-sectional design. 59.3% of employees were not satisfied working, 56.7% of employees had an unbalanced work-life balance and 54.7% had high work motivation. Work-life balance is not statistically related in this study while motivation is related to employee job satisfaction, employees who have high motivation feel more satisfied with their work than those with low motivation. Demographic factors related to employee job satisfaction are education. Low-educated employees are more satisfied with their work than highly educated employees after being controlled by work-life balance and motivation. Age and length of work are not related to employee job satisfaction. Suggestions that can be given based on the results of the study are the provision of incentives, regular training, division of tasks according to workload proportionally and the use of good information and communication technology to help employees achieve work-life balance and satisfaction.
