Abstrak:
This research study ilustrattes the basic ofthe turn over ofthe nurses . It also pertains to the pations opinion on the unsatisiied treatment received from the hospital nurses attending spesilically with regard to the unpolite, unfriendly manner, slow attention and the overall implication of not good or quality services. In general the research study aims to analyzed the job performance and the skill of nurses at Tebet hospital at the present year. The research used the cross sectional method by getting the sample of the total population of the nurses at Tcbet hospital on their actual work during the month of May untill June 2001. The data were gathered from the given quetionaire at the respective respondents and was properly interpreted and explained on the basis of satistical reports with technical analysis distribution frequency, chi squere and logistic regretion. Based on the univariat analysis the research study implication is that; job satisfaction and job performsnce ofthe nurses at Tebet hospital were almost the same. The research study further illustrates interestingly that comparison with oter hospital research study researches Tebet hospital got lowest grade as compared to them. The analysis also implied that the relation of bivariat between job satisfied and performance are not useful on thc contrary, the useful relation of the said factors were based on the condition of the environment. The analysis also proved that job satisfaction of the nurses at their work condition are important to recognize by the administration / management of the hospital for continuous care and profesional growth of the nurses. The researchers recommendation is focused on the achivement of the job satisfaction of nurses and further development of their job -performance . This would simply be possible by providing them better working environment like good lighting as good ambience , and complete facilities and equipments at the hospital.

Abstrak:

Dalam rangka menanggapi tuntutan jaman dan masyarakat luas dalam pelayanan kesehatan, Rumah Sakit Pelni mulai membenahi diri dengan memperbaiki sistem manajemennya. Perubahan sistem manajemen RS Pelni menjadi merit sistem RS Pelni, menimbulkan kebingungan dan keresahan. Para perawat yang semula merasa antusias, juga mengungkapkan kekecewaan dan ketidakpuasan terutama antara mereka yang memegang jabatan struktural dan mereka yang di pelaksana. Perawat juga merasakan adanya ketidakadilan diantara mereka sendiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan data yang diperoleh dari RS Pelni Petamburan mengenai kecenderungan perawat rawat inap yang ingin pindah ke unit rawat jalan atau unit lain. Selain itu adanya keresahan di antara perawat mengenai sistem upah yang diberikan pada mereka kurang memuaskan. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan karakteristik perawat dengan kepuasan kerja berdasarkan dimensi kerja di RS Pelni Petamburan Jakarta pada tahun 2002. Faktor karakteristik perawat yang ingin diketahui hubungannya dengan kepuasan kerja adalah variabel berikut ini: variabel umur, status perkawinan, pendidikan, lama kerja, dan kebijakan rumah sakit: gilir jaga. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik. Total sampel yang diambil adalah total perawat pelaksana yang berstatus organik yang bekerja pada minggu IV bulan April sampai dengan minggu II bulan Mei 2002. Analisa dilakukan secara univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Dari hasil uji univariat didapat bahwa perawat yang puas adalah 50,3%, dan yang tidak puas adalah 49,7%.tingkat kesesuaian sebesar 68,08 %, Jika rata-rata kepuasan kerja dilihat dari 6 dimensi kerja: Kebijakan Organisasi, Kondisi Kerja, Upah, Peluang Promosi, Rekan Kerja dan Supervisi, maka didapatkan rata-rata kepuasan kerja tertinggi adalah pada dimensi rekan kerja (86,2%) dan kepuasan kerja terendah adalah pada dimensi upah (50,77% ). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik perawat dengan kepuasan kerja. Dari uji multivariat dengan regresi Linier, menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna. Hasil analisis setiap faktor terhadap dimensi kerja, Yang digunakan diketahui bahwa faktor kebijakan organisasi dan upah berada dalam prioritas utama bagi perawat, dan RS Pelni Petamburan harus segera memperbaiki serta mengoreksi faktor-faktor dimensi kerja ini. Faktor kondisi kerja, rekan kerja dan peluang promosi merupakan faktor-faktor dimensi kerja yang harus dipertahankan, karena perawat merasa puas. Sedangkan faktor supervisi merupakan prioritas rendah bagi perawat.


 

In Order to address the demand of era and people in health services, Pelni Hospital begins to attend to the better management system that is Merit System of Pelni Petamburan Hospital. The Changes of the system into Merit System Pelni Hospital bring about confusion and uncertainty. Among the nurses who were enthusiastic, show their disappointment and dissatisfaction, especially among those who have structural position as well as those of functional position. They also feel that there are some injustices among them. This research was based on results of the interview and document data from Pelni Petamburan Hospital, about tendencies the nurses from inpatient units who want to be transferred to outpatient units. Moreover there are also restlessness among the nurses in salary system which dissatisfies them. Therefore the purpose of the research was to describe the relationship between the characteristic of the functional nurse and the job satisfaction based on the work dimension in Pelni Petamburan Hospital Jakarta in the year 2002. The characteristic of the nurse in this study which are investigated to reveal their correlation with the nurse's satisfaction include the following variables: age, marriage status, education, working period, and shifting. These types of research were cross sectional with descriptive analytic approach. The total sample is taken from the functional nurses who have organic status and work between 4th week of April till 2nd week of May 2002. Data analysis was conducted by using univariat, bivariate and multivariate techniques. The study results show that the proportion of satisfied nurses reach to 50,3% and unsatisfied nurses reach to 49,7 % with compliance of 68,08%. If we see the mean of job satisfaction through 6 dimensions its shows that : Organizational policy, working condition, pay, promotion, co-worker , and supervision shows that the highest proportion of work satisfied is co-worker dimension ( 86,2%) and the lowest proportion of work satisfied is the pay dimension (50,77%). The bivariate analysis using Chi-square reveals that there are no correlation between characteristic of the functional nurse and job satisfaction. The multivariate test using linier regression shows that no correlation between characteristic of the functional nurse and job satisfaction. Analysis of each factor dimension of work, indicates that the dimension of Organizational policy and pay are priority for the nurses, and Pelni Petamburan Hospital should immediately improve and review its factors. The dimension of work condition, promotion, and co-worker should be maintained for they prove to satisfy nurses. Factor supervision is low priority for the nurses.

Abstrak:

Rendahnya motivasi karyawan menunjukan adanya masalah kepemimpinan dan kepuasan kerja. Tingginya turnover pegawai di RS Yadika Pondok Bambu mengindikasi permasalahan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan dan hubungan kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi di RS Yadika Pondok Bambu. Besar sampel 193 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner.Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dialami 58% karyawan dan transaksional 42%. Karyawan yang puas 50.28%, yang tidak puas 49.7%. Komitmen afektif&normatif didapatkan pada 67% karyawan dan kontinu 33%. Terdapat hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi.


Low motivation of employees indicates the issue of leadership and job satisfaction. The high turnover of employees in RS Yadika Pondok Bambu indicates job satisfaction and commitment issues. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between leadership style and job satisfaction and association between employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment in RS Yadika Pondok Bambu. Sample size was 193 people. Research carried out by spreading questionnaire. Transformational leadership style was experienced by 58% of employees and transactional style was 42%. 50.28% of employees were satisfied, 49.7% dissatisfied. Affective and normative commitment was found in 67% of employees and 33% continuous commitment. There is an association between leadership style and job satisfaction of employees. There is an association between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Abstrak:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, Hngkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat RSP AD Gatot Soebroto tahun 2007. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kwantitatif dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui survey dengan pendekatan analisa jalur, dimana data yang dipakai adalah data primer dengan memakai alat bantu kuesioner. Pemilihan sumber data menggunakan stratified random sampling terhadap perawat RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang nyata gaya kepemimpinan lingkungan keija dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pcrawat RSPAD Gatot Soehroto tahun 2007, sedangkan budaya organisasi tidak ada hubungannya dengan kepuasan kerja perawat RSPAD Gatot Soebroto tahun 2007. Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap rnotiv:asi kcrja dan budaya organis.asi scdangkan lingkungan kcrja berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap motivasi kerja, budaya organisasi dan kepuasan ketja. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap kepuasan kerja. Gaya kepemimpinan tldak rnenunjukkan hubungan fangsung dengan kepuasan kerja. Hal ini tidak sesuai dengan path goal theory yang mengatakan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Ketidak sesuaian ini mungkin disebabkan karena keterbatasan penclltian atau adanya jarak yang dalam antara pimpinan dengan bawahan. Budaya organisasi tidak menunjukkan hubungan nyata dengan kepuasan kerja. Hal ini tidak sesuai dengan teori budaya organisasi Kotter yang mengatakan budaya organisasi dapat meningkatkan k:inelja yang akhlmya berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Ketidak sesuaian ini mungkin dlscbabkan oleh keterbatasan penclitian atau teori budaya organisasi Hofstede kurang cocok untuk digunakan di RSPAD Gatot Doebroto. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh ialah adanya pengaruh nyata gaya kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kelja terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat RSPAD Gatot Soebroto tahun 2007. Disarankan guna meningkatkan kepuasan kerja maka diperlukan gaya kepemimpinan yang rnampu mengakomodir aspirasi bawahan dan meningkatkan motivasi kerja melalui imbalan yang memadai serta perbaikan sarana fisik dan psikologis lingkungan kerja, Kedepan pcran pimp! nan dalam mcnsosialisasi visi. misi dan strategi serta nilai-nilai yang positif organisasi, sangat diperlukan agar RSPAD Gatot Soebroto memiiiki budaya kuat untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan pada umumnya dan perawat ,pada khususnya.

This research has an objective to recognize the influence of leadership style; work environment, organizational culture and work motivation toward nurse job satisfaction of RSPAD Gatot Subroto Year 2007. The method is quantitative method by conducting survey with path analysis method, where data used is primary data by using questioner as assisting toot The selection of data source is using stratified random sampling toward RSPAD Gatot Soebroto nurse. The result of this research show that there is significant influence of leadership style, work environment. and work motivation toward nurse job satisfactory of RSPAD Gatot Soebroto year 2007, while organizational culture do not have significant relationship with nurse job satisfactory of RSP AD Gatot Soebrmo year 2007. Leadership style does not show direct relationship with job satisfactory. h is not appropriate with Path goal theory which said leadership style is influencing job satisfactory. This inappropriateness may caused by research limitation or gap between leader and subordinate. Organizational culture does not shows significant relation with work satisfaction. It ls inappropriate with Kotter organizational background theory which said organizational culture could increase performance that finally influencing job satisfaction. This inappropriateness may cause by research limitation or Hofstede organizational background theory is less appropriate to use in RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Conclusion obtained that there is a significant influence of leadership style, work environment and work motivation toward nurse job satisfactory of RSPAD Gatot Soebroto year 2007. Finally, research suggests that to increase job satisfaction needs various efforts through leadership's role which can accommodate leader and subordinate wants to improve work motivation by using reward and good expectation that including an improvement in physical facility and psychological work environment In addition, an organization needs leadership role which can socialize vision mission, strategy and positive value.
