Nutrition Unit at the hospital is a medical support plays an important part in theorganization of food supply in the hospital. This study aims to determine theoptimal inventory control and procurement processes of foodstuffs at NutritionUnit in the hospital of Awal Bros Pekanbaru. This research is using qualitativeapproach method by observational and in-depth interviews with those directlyrelated to the process of planning and controlling the supply and logistics ofgroceries is used and analyzed by ABC, EOQ and ITOR methods.The studies shows that the control of the procurement of food supplies in theNutrition Unit of Awal Bros Pekanbaru do manually using the method ofconsumption. ABC Analysis showed 177 items of dry groceries there were 13(9,66%) items groceries group A spend 70,94% of the total investment value theprocurement of foodstuffs. Analysis results obtained EOQ values are variesdepending on the total investment value of foodstuffs. The effectiveness ofprocurement and inventory control of foodstuffs based on Inventory TurnoverRatio (ITOR) using EOQ calculation is faster than ITOR with the method ofconsumption.

This research analyzed the planning and inventory control process of food supplyin nutrition unit at Karya Bhakti Pratiwi Hospital (RSKBP). Data were collectedat RSKBP from April to May 2015, using quantitative approach by conductingobservation, in-depth interview and document review.The results showed that there was no policy and written guidelines/procedurelegalized by the Director, no clear organization structure, unqualified humanresources, and not enough facilities, which resulted in the inefficient planning andinventory control in food supply management at the hospital.RSKBP needs to take action to improve the food planning and inventory controlprocess through comprehensive and structured efforts. The efforts shall takeMinister of Health Regulation No. 78 Year 2013 regarding Guidance for NutritionService at Hospital as guidance. It can be started by issuing relevant Directorpolicies for nutrition instalation at RSKBP as the basis for planning and inventorycontrol in the unit.Key words: PGRS, Hospital Nutrition Unit, food service, planning and inventorycontrol, food.
Health services in hospitals require consumable medical materials and devices, sufficient stock to provide flexibility in carrying out the actions or treatment needed by patients, especially for consumable medical materials and devices related to Covid 19 which are included in the AV group, it is hoped that this will never happen stock void. Special analysis is needed to classify Ingredients and Medical Consumables into groups that can be seen the process of controlling their supplies. This study aims to classify consumable medical materials and devices into the right groups, then choose the inventory control method. Design of this research is Operational Research, the analysis used is descriptive analytic. The results of this study indicate that from the ABC Critical Index and VEN analysis, it is found that the AV group consists of 23 items, of which 13 items are consumable medical materials and devices for Covid 19 related needs. The results of the calculation of inventory control using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) methods show the results of numbers that can be used as a reference in keeping stocks in check. Awal Bros Hospital in Ujung Batu does not yet have an accurate inventory control system, so it is necessary to use an inventory control method so that there is never a shortage or empty stock
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis pengendalian persediaan antibiotik pada tahun 2011 di RSIA Budi Kemuliaan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan Cross Sectional dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis unsur-unsur yang berpengaruh pada efektifitas pengendalian dan pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk melakukan analisis ABC antibiotik pada tahun 2011. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini untuk analisis ABC nilai indeks kritis, kelompok A terdiri dari 8 item obat atau 6,25 % dari seluruh item antibiotik, kelompok B 58 item atau 45,31% dan kelompok C 48,44% atau 62 item antibiotik Untuk evaluasi Formularium, 28 item antibiotik dalam kelompok C dapat dihilangkan. Efektifitas pengendalian belum tercapai, dikarenakan kebijakan yang ada belum cukup dan belum dibakukan menjadi pedoman yang disosialisasikan serta dievaluasi secara rutin dan belum dibakukannya prosedur-prosedur yang berkaitan dengan pengendalian persediaan, serta sistem informasi yang tersedia belum menunjang proses pencatatan dan pelaporan.
The aim of this research is to analyze antibiotics stock control in Budi Kemuliaan Hospital in 2011. This was a cross-sectional study using qualitative approach to analyze some factors influencing control effectivity and quantitative approach to analyze ABC antibiotics in 2011. The result of this study, using ABC analysis of critical index point, showed that Group A consisted of 8 drug items or 6.25% of total antibiotics items, Group B consisted of 58 items (45.31%) and Group C consisted of 62 items (48.44%). Twenty eight itemsin Group C could be deleted from Budi Kemuliaan Hospital?s drug formularium lists.The effectivity of stock control had not been achieved yet because the policy regarding stock controlhad not been established adequately andhad not became a guidance to be socialized and evaluated routinely;there were many procedures of drug stock control had not became SOP (Standard Operating Procedure); and the excellence information system that supported good documentation had not been available yet.
