Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya tuntutan perkembangan perumahsakitan di Indonesia yang semakin kompleks namun harus tetap mengutamakan mutu pelayanan, efektifitas dan efisiensi. Obat-obatan sebagai alat utama penyembuhan pasien merupakan biaya rutin terbesar rumah sakit (40%-50%), disamping itu jenis, sediaan, dan harganya yang semakin banyak dan bervariasi (lebih kurang 7000 jenis) mengharuskan manajemen untuk mengendalikan persediaan obat dengan bijaksana. UGD RSU FK-UKI sebagai tempat penelitian belum menerapkan sistem pengendalian persediaan obat berbasis evidence. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persediaan obat di UGD RSU FK-UKI berdasarkan indeks kritis ABC agar dapat diambil langkah-langkah kebijaksanaan yang relevan dalam upaya pengendaliannya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data persediaan obat dianalisis dan dikelompokkan berdasarkan indeks kritis ABC, informasi mengenai kebijakan pengendalian persediaan obat diperoleh melalui interview mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian formal menimbulkan permasalahan dalam persediaan obat. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh makin bervariasinya sediaan obat, tingkat penggunaan, dan perilaku para dokter pengguna sediaan. Setiap sediaan mempunyai karakteristik yang berbeda berdasarkan nilai inventory costasi, nilai pemakaian dan nilai kritisnya dalam pengobatan pasien. Ketiga faktor ini menjadi dasar pertimbangan manajemen dalam mengeluarkan kebijakan pengendalian obat secara ilmiah dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Perbedaan karakteristik setiap obat diatas menjadi dasar perlakuan manajemen terhadap masing-masing obat sesuai dengan pengelompokannya. Kebijakan pengendalian obat dalam perencanaan, pengadaan, distribusi dan penggunaan sesuai dengan pengelompokan diatas dapat menghindarkan dan meminimisasi pemborosan biaya persediaan obat dan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan.
Policy of Drug Inventory Control Based on Analysis of Critical Indexes of ABC at Emergency Care Unit in General Hospital of Medical Faculty of Universitas Kristen Indonesia in the year 2001The background of the research was the fact that the development of hospital services in Indonesia was increasingly complex, however emphasized on quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the services. Drug as the main material of therapy was the biggest operational cost (40%-50%), beside that it was vary extremely in specificity (7000 spec.), packing and cost made the management has to control drug inventory wisely. Emergency Care Unit in General Hospital of Medical Faculty of Universitas Kristen Indonesia as the place of research was still not performing the drug inventory control system based on evidence. The purpose of this research was to analyze drug inventory in Emergency Care Unit in General Hospital of Medical Faculty of Universitas Kristen Indonesia based on Critical Indexes of ABC in case of making the relevant policies to control them. This type of research was a case study with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Drug inventory data in the year of 2001, consisting of 138 drug items was analyzed and classified by ABC Critical Indexing. The information of inventory control policies was obtained from in-depth interviews. The result from the research showed that the formal controlling makes many problems for drug inventory. It's happened because inventory variety, grade of utility, and behavior of the physicians use the medicine. Each item of inventory must be treated individuals in inventory planning. This treatment was varies by inventory cost value, utility value, and critical index of each drug. Three factors must be the basis of management to issue the policy of drug inventory in law of scientific and accountable. The differences of drug characteristic could be basic of management to treat each drug depend on its classification. Policy of drug inventory in planning, purchasing, distribution and use refer to the classification in order to prevent and minimize unnecessary cost of drug inventory either to increase the quality of service.
Tujuan penelitian : untuk mengetahui upaya pengendalian persediaan obat dan alat kesehatan IGD RS PMI Bogor
Metode : penelitian deskriptif studi kasus dengan teknik analisis distribusi ABC Indeks Kritis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi; selain itu pengumpulan data sekunder, dan penyebaran kuesioner nilai kritis rata-rata.
Hasil : pendistribusian persediaan obat dan alkes IGD PMI Bogor berdasarkan indeks kritis menghasilkan 21 jenis item yang menjadi prioritas pengendalian. Obat dan alat kesehatan ini merupakan 81,4% dari seluruh nilai investasi dengan biaya sebesar Rp 1.699.291.318,- atau sebanyak 10% dari seluruh jenis obat dan alkes IGD. Selain itu terdapat pula kelompok yang perlu diperhatikan yaitu 71 item obat dan alkes atau sebesar 33,81% dari keseluruhan persediaan obat dan alkes IGD yang memiliki nilai kritis yang tinggi. Persediaan tersebut tidak membutuhkan banyak biaya, hanya sebesar Rp 129.820.069,- atau 5,96% dari keseluruhan total biaya.
Kesimpulan : pengelompokan persediaan obat dan alkes IGD PMI Bogor melalui Analisis ABC Indeks Kritis menghasilkan kenaikan jumlah item dari distribusi pemakaian dan investasi; dimana alat kesehatan mendominasi sebagian besar dari kelompok A analisis ABC Indeks Kritis ini.

Background : PMI Hospital is a private hospital with B accreditation. The hospital takes charge all the mandatory given by PP PMI and has excellent service in trauma and emergency departments. The Emergency Department is one of the units in a hospital which involves high tension situations and high work load conditions; therefore, it requires qualified crews, good facilities, and pharmacy logistics.
Objective : to know the medicine supply control and medical equipment of PMI Bogor's Emergency Department.
Methods : using an operations research which is ABC Critically Index Analysis. Interview and observations are included in this research, and secondary data, as well as Critically Value Questioner.
Results : the 21 items becomes the priority in the distribution. The amounts of investment is Rp 1.699.291.318,- which is 81,4% of total investments; which is 10% of all medicines and medical equipments in the emergency department. On the other hand, the other 71 items, which is 33,81% of all medicines stocks, need well attention as well. The cost for the 71 items is not too expensives, which is Rp 129.820.069,- for 5,96% of total cost.
Conclusions : by using an ABC Critically Index Analysis , the grouping of medicine supply and medical equipment in PMI Bogor's Emergency Department results an increasing amounts in used items and investments; whereas the medical equipment dominate it.

This thesis discusses drug inventory control to improve effectiveness and efficiency of investment in SBU Garuda Sentra Medika (GSM). Study design is cross sectional with qualitative approach assisted by calculation. The results show there is no scientific method to control drug inventory in GSM Pharmacy Unit, lack of organizational structure, lack of policy and working procedures, Pharmacy Therapy Team (PTT) is not in accordance with the applicable rules, and lack of information system. Suggestions are evaluating policies and work procedures, fixing the organizational structure, establishing appropriate drug inventory control guidelines, establishing PTT according to applicable rules, and developing information system.

This study is an analitic descriptive research with quantitative approachusing The ABC Critical Index deals with inventory controls of the antibiotics atthe pharmacy unit of the Leprosy Hospital dr Rivai Abdullah Palembang in 2014.The results are 11 items (13,58 %) are A group, 32 items (39,51%) are B groupand 38 items (46,91 %) are C group. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) andthe Reorder Point (ROP) are doing for the A group. As the final result thehospital can save Rp. 49.221.372,- yearly if using this inventory controls.

The hospital has a main function that is held through a joint plenary healthpromotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative. Pharmacy services are anintegral part of the activities of the health care system-oriented health services andthe provision of patient care quality medicines. On drug consumption in 2011obtained a total investment of RS to purchase antibiotics Rp. 1,866,502,206 and avacancy occurs on the drug supply so that application of the drug is notappropriate number. This study uses ABC analysis to determine the classificationof drugs based on category A, B and C as well as the calculation of EOQ andROP. Results was collected through document review, questionnaires andinterview the informant. The results of this study showed the drug group Aconsisted of 11 items with a percentage of the drug is 4.25% of the total drugswith an investment of Rp. 876.329.723. In group B, comprised 96 items with apercentage of 37,07% of the total drugs with an investment of Rp. 785.005.348. Ingroup C have 152 items with a percentage of the drug 58,68% of the total drugwith an investment of Rp. 205.166.955. While the economic calculations in groupA gained varies between 3 and 67 units for a single message. While the ROP forthe drug group A critical indices obtained reorder point for antibiotics varies from9 to 126 units. To anticipate stock out, then the ROP can be combined with thesafety stock. From the research, hospitals ABC analysis to determine the drug so itcan be done surveillance.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 83 item obat, untuk kelompok A(60%-30%-10%) item obat kemoterapi adalah Paxus 100 mg injeksi. dengan nilai investasi sebesar Rp. 3.220.525.650,- dari total investasi Rp 33.509.826.356,-. Analisis Indeks Kritis kelompok A (70%-20%-10%) dengan nilai investasi sebesar Rp11.045.150.780,- dari keseluruhan nilai investasi Rp 33.509.826.356,- terdiri dari 6jenis item yaitu : Holoxan 1 gram injeksi, Leocovorin injeksi, Doxorubicin 50 mg injeksi, Brexel 20 mg injeksi, Brexel 80 mg injeksi dan Paxus 100 mg injeksi. Sedangkan kelompok A ( 80%-10%-10%) atau senilai Rp. 12.472.877.428,- daritotal nilai investasi Rp. 33.509.826.356,- terdiri dari 8 item yaitu: Carboplatin 150 mg injeksi Holoxan 1 gram injeksi, Leocovorin injeksi, Doxorubicin 50 mginjeksi, Brexel 20 mg injeksi, Brexel 80 mg injeksi dan Paxus 100 mg injeksi, danTaxotere 20 mg injeksi. Metode Analisis ABC Indeks Kritis ini dapat membanturumah sakit dalam merencanakan kebutuhan obat dengan mempertimbangkanpemakaian, nilai investasi, kekritisan obat untuk melakukan efisiensi biaya rumahsakit.

One of the featured services at RSMH is integrated chemotherapy services. One ofthe resources in support of these services is a pharmaceutical supplies including theChemotherapy drugs are relatively expensive. In conducting the inventory controlDr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital not classify drugs based on user value, investmentvalue and criticality of drugs through certain methods. So in this study aims toconduct chemotherapy drug control approach ABC Analysis Critical Index in theCytostatica Handling Room of Pharmacy Instalation Dr. Mohammad HoesinHospital Palembang. This study design using operational research with quantitativeand qualitative descriptive analysis.
