Risky riding behavior is one of the major factors contributing to the high incidence of traffic accidents among motorcyclists. The Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia (FPH UI), as an area with high traffic mobility, has the potential for risky riding behavior, making it necessary to identify the factors associated with such behavior. This study aimed to analyze the association between internal and external factors and risky riding behavior among motorcyclists at FPH UI in 2026. This study employed a cross-sectional design involving 158 students and employees of FPH UI. The independent variables consisted of internal and external factors. Internal factors included demographic characteristics, riding experience, driver's license ownership, sensation seeking, and traffic safety knowledge, while external factors included vehicle condition and road and infrastructure conditions. The dependent variable, risky riding behavior, was measured using the Motorcycle Rider Behaviour Questionnaire (MRBQ). Data were collected through an online questionnaire consisting of the MRBQ, the Brief Sensation Seeking Scale (BSSS), and researcher-developed questionnaires. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-square test. The results showed that 48.7% of respondents exhibited high risky riding behavior. Bivariate analysis revealed that age (p<0.001), educational level (p<0.001), riding experience duration (p=0.006), history of traffic accidents (p=0.019), sensation seeking (p<0.001), and road and infrastructure conditions (p=0.023) were significantly associated with risky riding behavior. In contrast, sex, riding frequency, driver's license ownership, traffic safety knowledge, and vehicle condition were not significantly associated with risky riding behavior. Based on these findings, Universitas Indonesia and relevant stakeholders should strengthen the implementation of road safety programs through educational initiatives targeting young riders, promotion of a safety riding culture, stricter enforcement of traffic regulations, and improvements to road and infrastructure conditions within the university campus.

Fires are a problem in many places, including the campus environment. Nowadays, the fire quite often occur in various campus in Indonesia. UI has also suffered a fire before. The impact of the fires not only cause material losses but also morale. One of the main factors in the cause of the fire is the behavior that is less concerned with safety and fire hazard, one of which is influenced by the perception against the risk of fire. The perception of risk is also the key that determines a person's decision in the event of a fire so that they can describe the behavior of the evacuation. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the perceptions of students of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Indonesia against the risk of fires on campus as well as the factors which affected it. This research was conducted with a cross sectional study design with primary data collection through questioner distribution to the 409 students of RIK UI. The results showed that students ' perception of the picture of RIK UI against fire risk on campus is already good. As for the factors that influence the perception of the risk of fires are knowledge (P value = 0,0001) and training (P value = 0,033).
Keywords: Fire risk perception, campus.
