The choice of a doctor's career is very important in the effort to fulfill quality health services, considering the existence of a doctor in basic health care is vital and determines the quality of health services. This study aims to determine the career choice of an internship doctor and its determinants, and how it is aligned with stakeholder policies. This study used a mix method with a parallel convergent research design. Research respondents were internship doctors in Jakarta 2020 with a research sample of 154 people and research informants were stakeholders. The results of the study found that the career choice for interns was to be specialist doctors and the choice of work was mostly in hospitals, while those who were interested in working in primary and public health services were very few, especially in Puskesmas. The results of multivariate analysis showed that there are six variables that have a statistically significant relationship: gender, university origin, place of work, income, lifestyle and family demands. Government policies together with other stakeholders are not in line with the mandate of the law to distribute health services throughout Indonesia
Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan penerapan piranti lunak POM-QM for Windows 3 pada antrean pasien rawat jalan di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam RSU OKU Timur, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Pengamatan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan komponen penting dari waktu tunggu yang diperlukan untuk mengembangkan piranti lunak. Piranti lunak yang dikembangkan lalu diujicobakan. Hal ini berhasil memberikan informasi kepada pasien tentang lamanya waktu untuk menemui dokter spesialis guna pemeriksaan medis. Antrean pasien di ruang tunggu menjadi lebih tertib. Melalui wawancara mendalam, pasien dan manajer rumah sakit merasa puas dengan penerapan piranti ini.
This qualitative study aimed to develop POM-QM for Windows 3 software application on patients que at the outpatient Internal Disease Clinic of RSU OKU Timur, South Sumatera Province. Observations were conducted to obtain important components of waiting times, which were needed to developed the software. The developed software was tried out. It succeeded to provide information to the patients on length of time to be called by the specialist for medical examination. Patients’ que in the waiting room was more orderly. Through indepth interview, patients and hospital managers were satisfied with the application of this tool.
Dokumentasi keperawatan merupakan bukti dari pelaksanaan keperawatan yang menggunakan metode proses keperawatan, berisi tentang catatan respon pasien terhadap tindakan medis dan tindakan keperawatan serta merupakan indikator mutu asuhan keperawatan. Agar pelayanan keperawatan berkualitas maka perawat diharapkan dapat menerapkan asuhan keperawatan dengan pendokumentasian yang benar.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelengkapan dokumen asuhan keperawatan terkait dengan faktor individu, faktor organisasi dan faktor psikologis, menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Observasi memungkinkan peneliti mengamati langsung tantangan perawat dalam melengkapi dokumen pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, rencana tindakan, implementasi, evaluasi dan catatan keperawatan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum pengisisan kelengkapan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan di rumah sakit Santo Antonio masih di bawah standar Depkes. Perawat sudah menyadari pentingnya pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain kurangnya tenaga dan kurangnya fasilitas yang ada seperti petunjuk teknis pengisian dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan. Selain itu, belum pernah dilakukan pelatihan terkait dengan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan. Perawat memanfaatkan hasil dokumentasi sebagai materi komunikasi kemajuan kondisi pasien, namun dokter belum memanfaatkan secara maksimal hasil dokumentasi yang dibuat oleh perawat.
Saran dari penelitian ini adalah agar pihak manajemen memenuhi jumlah tenaga, mengadakan pelatihan dan seminar, membuat petunjuk teknis pengisian dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan, menerapkan supervise berjenjang serta membuat lembar catatan pasien yang terintegrasi dari seluruh tenaga kesehatan. Saran untuk Kemenkes adalah mengembangkan peraturan yang memberikan pemisahan yang jelas antara tugas dokter dan tugas perawat.
Nursing documentation is an evidence of the implementation of nursing, using the nursing process method, which is contains the report of the patients’ response to the medical and nursing care also an indicator of the nursing care quality. In order to support the nursing care quality, the nurse should applied itself with proper documentation.
The aim of this research is to analyze the completion of the nursing care document, in relation to the individual, organizational, and psychological factors by using qualitative methods such as observation and in-depth interviews. This study is allow to observed nurses challenges to complete the document, diagnose, treatment planning, implementation, evaluation and medical record.
The study revealed that nursing care document completion in Saint Antonio hospital is still below standard even the nurses realized the importance of documenting nursing care. Challenges were found are the nurses work load, no technical guideline for completing the nursing document, no trainings and no workshops for the nurses. Nurses are going to use the results of the documentation to discuss the progress of patient’s condition, but clinicians do not use it as expected.
The study suggests the management to increase the number of personnel, to held trainings and seminars for nurses, to develop technical guideline for nursing documentation, to implement head nurse’s supervision and also create an integrated record sheet based on various personal’s health. Recommendation for Ministry of Health is to provide regulation of clear duty of nurses and doctors.
Dalam proses pendidikan tenaga medis melalui fakultas kedokteran diperlukan suatu wadah sebagai rumah sakit lahan pendidikan. RS Islam Jakarta di pilih sebagai salah satu lahan pendidikan tenaga kedokteran oleh Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas YARSI sejak tahun 1996 melalui suatu kerjasama dengan menggunakan Piagam Kesepakatan.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus Piagam Kesepakatan dengan melakukan telaah dokumen, pengisian kuesioner wawancara mendalam, dan obervasi pada 4 (empat) SMF, yakni SMF Anak, Bedah, Interna dan Kebidanan dan Kandungan, Pimpinan Rumah Sakit dan Pimpinan Fakultas Kedokteran. Fokus analisis penelitian ini adalah pada Piagam Kesepakatan Peserta PSPD, Dosen, Organisasi, buku Panduan, Pelaksanaan dan Evaluasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Piagam Kesepakatan pada dasarnya sudah memadai dari aspek isi. Analisis peserta menunjukkan bahwa jumlah peserta sudah memadai untuk tiap bagian, hanya terlihat kecenderungan peserta yang makin lama makin menurun. Sedangkan analisis dosen menunjukkan bahwa ratio peserta dosen sudah sangat memadai. Analisis organisasi menunjukkan kurangnya kooordinasi dan tumpang tindihnya uraian Analisis organisasi menunjukkan kurangnya koordinasi dan tunpang tindihnya uraian tugas. Perlunya sosialisasi buku panduan, perlunya dilakukan evaluasi secara berkala selama tiap 6 bulan dalam menilai kerjasama yang telah berlangsung selama ini.Di sarankan agar Piagam Kesepakatan ini dapat segera di perbaharui, melengkapi SMF untuk pendidikan kedokteran sambil meningkatkan koordinasi dan evaluasi proses PSPD di RS Islam Jakarta.Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dipakai sebagai masukan untuk RS Islam Jakarta dan FK Universitas YARSI, dalam mengembangkan fungsi serta peranannya untuk pendidikan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
A teaching hospital is needed by a Medical Faculty to provide education for medical students in a clerkship stage. Jakarta Islamic Hospital is among one of the teaching hospital of Medical Faculty YARSI University, since 1996 through a cooperation agreements using a Memorandtun of Understanding (MoU).The design of the research is a qualitative with systematic approach through a case study of the MoU, document reviews, using in-depth interview, andobservation on 4 (four) SMF i.e.: Pediatrics, Surgery, Intern, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Hospital director and Dean of the Medical Faculty.. The focus of this analysis is on the MoU, the students, the lecturer, Organization, Medical Guidance Book, Implementation and Evaluation.The result of this study showed that the analysis of the MoU and the students basically are suitable, although there were a decreasing trend toward less number. The radio between students and the lecturers were appropriate. And the organizational analysis showed that it needs more, the socialization ofthe Medical guidance book, and periodic evaluation.The author suggested that the Memorandum of Understanding should be revised soon, to complete the mimber of the SMFs for clerkship, while increasing the coordination and evaluation of the clerkship process in Jakarta Islamic Hospital.The result of this study hopefully could be used as an input to the Jakarta Islamic hospital and the Medical Faculty of YARSI University in improving its function and role for education and services towards the people.
