This thesis discusses the relationship between the choice of information quality of health workers with the selection of long-term contraceptive methods (MKJP) in Indonesia in 2017. This study was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods. For quantitative research methods using secondary data that is IDHS data (2017) and qualitative research conducted with in-depth interviews. The sample of this research is WUS aged 15-49 years and using modern contraception. The results showed that MKJP users who got choice information with poor quality amounted to 46.2%. The results of multivariable analysis showed that there was a relationship between the choice of information from health workers and the selection of the MKJP after being controlled for age, education, occupation, economic status, area of residence, knowledge of family planning, number of children and family planning staff visits. It is recommended that the BKKBN increase family planning promotion more attractively, creatively and persuasively and provide soft skills training to improve the quality of PLKB in changing WUS attitudes towards contraceptive use.
Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) is a contraceptive method that has high effectiveness, reversible and long-term. But with many advantages, users Long - Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) is still low in many areas. Though the government has issued wisdom through Jampersal program that includes directing the participants of Jampersal to use Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). The purpose of this study wanted to know the relationship between long-acting reversible contraceptive use with participation in the program Jampersal, acceptor characteristics and other factors in women of childbearing age in the health center Margajaya Bekasi. The study design was a case-control study sample corresponds with acceptor 86 consisting of 43 cases and 43 controls. Population is women of childbearing age (15-49 years) who started a new family planning acceptors from January 2012 to May 2013 who settled in the region Margajaya Health Center. The results showed a statistically significant association use Long- Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) with the number of living children, the purpose of using contraception, knowledge and exposure to mass media sources or information about Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC).
World Population Data Sheet 2014 shows that Indonesia is the most occupied by 251million. One factor is the high TFR in Indonesia with a fixed rate of 2.6%, it still has notreached the target RPJMN 2015-2019 of 2.3%. One of the efforts in controlling thepopulation and reducing the birth rate is the use of long-term contraceptive methods thatare considered effective and efficient for women of childbearing age. In Indonesia thecoverage of MKJP is still low at 10.2% while in NTB it is 11.3%, the figure is stillbelow the target of BKKBN 2016 about the achievement of MKJP of 21.1%. Lack oflong-term use of contraception is due to various factors including lack of husbandsupport. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship of support of the husbandwith the use of MKJP in West Nusa Tenggara. This research uses cross sectional designquantitative research type using secondary data of endline survey ImprovingContraceptive Method Mix (ICMM) organized by Jhon Hopskins University (JHU-CCP) in cooperation with Yayasan Cipta Cara Padu (YCCP), Health Research CenterUniversity of Indonesia, Ministry of Health and BKKBN in 6 districts of West NusaTenggara Province in 2016 with a sample size of 4,822 people. The result of bivariateanalysis in this study mentioned that there was no statistically significant relationshipbetween husband support and MKJP use based on statistical test value (p value = 0,135POR = 1,14 CI 95% = 0,96-1,35). Discussion and decision-making by husbands againstWUS in the use of contraceptives, as a whole, has not contributed to the selection ofeffective or efficient method of contraceptive methods, ie MKJP so that the higher useof Non-MKJP in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The result of logistic regression testshowed that husband support was related to the use of MKJP after controlled byeducation (POR = 1.37), knowledge (POR = 7.04) and the interaction between husbandsupport and media information exposure with POR = 3.99. Thus, WUS with the supportof husbands and media exposure has a chance 3.99 times to discuss with the husbandusing MKJP compared with WUS that no husband support and not exposed to themedia.
Background: MKJP is one of the main performance indicators in the BKKBN strategic plan in increasing family participation in family planning and reproductive health, however, the results are still low. Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the determinants of the use of MKJP in Women of the Age Who Do Not Want More Children on the Island of Borneo. Method: This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design, using secondary data from the 2017 Indonesian Health Demographic Survey (IDHS). The study sample consisted of 1034 respondents. Data analysis used logistic regression statistical test. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the percentage of the use of MKJP for WUS who did not want any more children on the island of Kalimantan was 12.9%. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was a relationship between PT education (p=0.01, OR=3.04), upper economic status (p=0.024, OR = 1.9), and sources of family planning services (p=<0.001, OR = 3.88) with the use of MKJP. While there is no relationship between age, occupation, place of residence, knowledge, parity, husband's support, support from health workers, family planning decision-making and information exposure with the use of MKJP in WUS who do not want more children. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the dominant variable related to the use of MKJP was the source of family planning services. WUS with previous sources of family planning services in the government sector had a 6.07 times chance of using MKJP compared to WUS with family planning service sources in the private/other sectors after controlling for the variables of education, economic status, sources of family planning services and exposure to family planning information (pv=

During 2015-2050, half of the world population growth is expected to be concentrated in nine countries, one of which is Indonesia. By 2015 the percentage of modern contraceptive method usage is 58.99%. Most of the couples of reproductive age participants in Indonesia still rely on injectable contraception (59.57%), while the percentage of LTCM users is 17.01% (Susenas, 2015). Data of Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung in 2016, the proportion of active family planning participants using LTCM amounted to 4,024 (9.3%). The purpose of this research is to know the overview of factors associated to the use of long-term contraception method (LTCM) in women aged 15-49 years in work area of Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung East Jakarta year 2017. The research design use case control. Sampling was done by simple random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 60 samples for case group (LTCM users) and 60 samples for control group (Non LTCM user). Statistical test using Chi Square test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between age, occupation status, number of live children, knowledge of LTCM, attitudes toward LTCM, cost of family planning services, exposure of information about LTCM, support of health workers on the use of LTCM, husband support for LTCM use, and family planning decision making with the use of LTCM.
