Angka HIV meningkat di Indonesia terutama di kalangan LSL, salah satu cara efektif menurunkan infeksi HIV adalah melalui perubahan perilaku dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang HIV-AIDS. Pada data tahun 2007 persentase LSL yang pernah melakukan tes HIV sebanyak 37 % di Jakarta, Medan, Batam, Bandung, Malang dan Surabaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan rendahnya testing HIV pada LSL dan setelah dianalisis, variabel-variabel yang berhubungan dengan testing HIV pada LSL adalah umur, starus pernikahan, pendidikan, persepsi, pengetahuan, dukungan petugas, keterpaparan informasi. Hasil analisis 34,9% LSL yang melakukan praktik Testing HIV, faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan testing HIV adalah keterpaparan informasi dengan p value 0,000 dan OR= 13,8.
The HIV rates increasing in Indonesia, especially among MSM. One effective way of lowering HIV infection is through a change in behavior by increasing knowledge about HIV-AIDS. In the 2007, the percentage of MSM who had an HIV test as much as 37% in Jakarta, Medan, Batam, Bandung, Malang and Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with low HIV testing in MSM and after analysis, the variables associated with HIV testing in MSM were age, infection status of marriage, education, perception, knowledge, support personnel, exposure information. Results of analysis MSM who practice HIV Testing is 34.9% , the most associated factor with HIV testing is exposure information with p value of 0.000 and OR = 13.8.
The number cases of HIV infection in risk groups Men Who have Sex with Men(MSM) in Bogor increasingly concerned each year. Sexual risk behavior in MSMis influenced by various factors. Health Belief Model as a concept in healthresearch has done many research on behavior including use of condoms as an HIVprevention efforts. Although results have varied, support for significantrelationship between perception risk of HIV, benefits and barriers and selfefficacy of condoms use are apparent. The aim of study is to find determiningfactor of condom use behavior with Health Belief Model construction comparedwith other factors. Cross-sectional method with collecting data using respondentdriven sampling technique. Item questionnaire consisting 41 questions based onthe construction of Health Belief Model obtained from 133 respondents. Theresults of multiple logistic regressions found significant only perception risk ofHIV than other factors. Conclusion. Perception risk of HIV is the biggestdetermines factor of condoms use, therefore interventions program of HIVprevention among MSM should be emphasized to change perception risk of HIVsuggested with interpersonal communication (peer group discussion).Key words: Health Belief Model, Condom, Men who have Sex with Men (MSM),HIV.
Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan sikap petugas puskesmas terhadap Orang Dengan HIV-AIDS (ODHA) di Kota Bandung melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan data primer di empat puskesmas (Salam, Kopo, Pasundan, dan Ibrahim Adji/Kiaracondong) di Kota Bandung pada bulan Oktober - Nopember 2010. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 59.6% petugas puskesmas bersikap positif terhadap ODHA. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan sikap petugas puskesmas terhadap ODHA adalah pengalaman menolong ODHA dengan nilai p=0.016 (OR: 4.827, 95%CI: 1.343-17.349). Artinya, petugas puskesmas yang pernah menolong ODHA akan memberi sikap positif terhadap ODHA sebesar 4.8 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan petugas puskesmas yang belum pernah menolong ODHA setelah dikontrol variabel dukungan rekan kerja. Hasil penelitian kualitatif ditemukan informasi tentang sikap negatif petugas Puskesmas terhadap ODHA dan mutasi petugas Puskesmas yang mengganggu kelancaran pelayanan kesehatan HIV-AIDS di Puskesmas.
The study was designed to explore the relationship of the factors of health center providers attitude toward People Living with HIV-AIDS (PLWH) in HIV-AIDS Care, through quantitative and qualitative approach using primary data in four health centers (Ibrahim Adjie/Kiaracondong, Kopo, Pasundan, and Salam) in Bandung in October - November 2010. The result showed 59.6% health center providers had positive attitude toward PLWH. Only one factor was significant related to attitude of health center providers toward PLWH with p=0.16 (OR: 4.827, 95% CI: 1.343-17.349). Meaning, there was 4.8 chance for health center providers who had helped PLWH having positive attitude toward PLWH compared with those who never helped PLWH. The qualitative study found negative attitude of health centre providers toward PLWH and mutation of health centre providers was the problem in HIV-AIDS care at health centers in Bandung.
