Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) atau gangguan pendengaran akibat bising merupakan penyakit akibat kerja yang paling umum diderita di dunia. Sekitar 16 % dari total gangguan pendengaran pada orang dewasa di dunia dikaitkan dengan kebisingan akibat pekerjaan. Diperkirakan 1,3 miliar orang menderita gangguan pendengaran akibat paparan kebisingan. PT. XYZ merupakan perusahan manufaktur industri pulp and paper yang memiliki pajanan kebisingan tinggi khususnya pada SEG Operator unit recovery boiler dan SEG power boiler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan penilaian pajanan kebisingan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Bayesian Decision Analysis (BDA) dengan menentukan distribusi prior, distribusi likelihood dan distribusi posterior pada SEG recovery boiler dan SEG power boiler. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April - Mei 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, pengukuran dosis kebisingan personal, dan expert judgment. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan software IHData Analyst-AIHA dan EXPOSTATS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat variasi yang moderate apda kedua SEG. Distribusi probabilitas prior pajanan kebisingan pada SEG recovery boiler memiliki certainty level 1 pada kategori 4 (poor control) sedangkan pada SEG power boiler memiliki certainty level 0,995 pada kategori 4 (poor control) dan certainty level 0,005 pada kategori 3 (controlled). Distribusi probabilitas likelihood pada kedua SEG recovery boiler dan power boiler memiliki certainty level 1 pada kategori 4. Sehingga distribusi probabilitas posterior kedua SEG recovery boiler dan power boiler adalah masing-maisng pada kategori 4 (poor control) dengan certainty level 1. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pajanan kebisingan pada kedua SEG tidak dapat diterima (unacceptable). Peneliti menyarankan untuk melakukan pengendalian segera dengan menerapkan Hearing Consevation Program secara komprehensif dan berkelanjutan, melakukan refining SEG dengan uji variasi individual compliance test dan menggunakan metode BDA dalam melakukan penilaian pajanan kerja.
Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) is the most common occupational disease worldwide. Approximately 16% of total adult hearing impairments in the world are associated with occupational noise. It is estimated that 1.3 billion people suffer from hearing impairments caused by noise exposure. PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company in the pulp and paper industry which has high noise exposure, especially for the SEG Operator in the recovery boiler unit and the SEG power boiler unit. This study aims to assess noise exposure using Bayesian Decision Analysis (BDA) approach by determining the prior distribution, likelihood distribution, and posterior distribution in the SEG recovery boiler and SEG power boiler. This research is a descriptive analytical study with a quantitative approach conducted from April to May 2023. Data collection was carried out through observation, personal noise dose measurements, and expert judgment. The data were analyzed using the IHData Analyst-AIHA and EXPOSTATS software. The results show that there are moderate variations in the two SEGs. The prior probability distribution of noise exposure in the SEG recovery boiler has a certainty level 1 in category 4 (poor control) while in the SEG power boiler it has a certainty level of 0.995 in category 4 (poor control) and a certainty level of 0.005 in category 3 (controlled). The likelihood probability distribution for both SEG recovery boilers and power boilers has certainty level 1 in category 4. So that the posterior probability distribution for both SEG recovery boilers and power boilers is respectively in category 4 (poor control) with certainty level 1. This shows that noise exposure in both SEGs is unacceptable. Researchers suggest carrying out immediate control by implementing a comprehensive and sustainable Hearing Conservation Program, refining SEGs with individual compliance test variations and using the BDA method of conducting occupational exposure assessments.

Tesis ini membahas mengenai faktor risiko serta dampak kebakaran maupun ledakan yang dapat terjadi dari pengoperasian Boiler di Industri Makanan PT.X. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian semi kuantitatif menggunakan metode perhitungan Dows Fire and Explosion Index serta perangkat lunak ALOHA versi 5.4.7 yang superimposisi dengan MARPLOT. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai 111,62 dengan klasifikasi tingkat risiko bahaya kebakaran ledakan Boiler dalam kategori Intermediate. Populasi terdampak kebakaran dan ledakan Boiler sebanyak 615 orang dengan estimasi nilai kerugian sebesar Rp. 879.872.821.670. PT. X dapat mengurangi nilai kerugian dan mencegah terjadinya kebakaran serta ledakan melalui penyediaan sarana proteksi kebakaran baik aktif maupun pasif yang memadai, updating prosedur tanggap darurat, simulasi, pelatihan personil serta upgrading sistem Boiler menjadi Automatic Boiler.

PT XYZ bergerak di bidang industri produksi keramik porselen yang di dalam proses kerjanya terdapat bahaya kebisingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara intensitas kebisingan dan tekanan darah pekerja unit produksi PT XYZ tahun 2023 dengan adanya variabel berupa karakteristik pekerja (usia, riwayat keturunan, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), masa kerja, dan durasi pajanan) dan perilaku pekerja (aktivitas fisik, kebiasaan merokok, dan penggunaan APD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 pekerja. Data intensitas kebisingan diperoleh dari data sekunder hasil pengukuran kebisingan area produksi tahun 2022 menggunakan Sound Level Meter dan data tekanan darah diperoleh dari hasil Medical Check Up perusahaan. Hasil penelitian tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas kebisingan dan tekanan darah pekerja (P-value = 0,209; OR = 4,783). Terdapat hubungan antara variabel IMT dan tekanan darah (P-value = 0,038; OR = 2,976), namun tidak terdapat hubungan antara variabel usia, riwayat keturunan, masa kerja, durasi pajanan, aktivitas fisik, kebiasaan merokok, dan penggunaan APD (P-value >0,05).
PT XYZ is engaged in the porcelain ceramics production industry in which there is a noise hazard in the work process. This study aims to analyze the relationship between noise intensity and blood pressure of PT XYZ production unit workers in 2023 with other variables in the form of worker’s characteristics (age, hereditary history, Body Mass Index (BMI), years of service, and duration of exposure) and worker’s behavior (physical activity, smoking behavior, and use of PPE). This study used quantitative research methods with cross-sectional study design. There are 96 samples used in this study. Noise intensity data was obtained from secondary data of production area noise measurement results in 2022 using Sound Level Meter and blood pressure data was obtained from the company’s Medical Check Up results. Study results show that there is not a significant relationship between noise intensity and worker’s blood pressure (P-value = 0,209; OR = 4,783). There is a significant relationship between BMI variable and worker’s blood pressure (P-value = 0,038; OR = 2,976), meanwhile there is no significant relationship between other variables, such as age, hereditary history, years of service, duration of exposure, physical activity, smoking behavior, and use of PPE (P-value >0,05).

Seiring dengan target pemerintah dalam peningkatan produksi minyak dan gas di lepas pantai, maka penggunaan bahan kimia dalam kegiatan produksi minyak dan gas semakin meningkat, hal ini memunculkan kekhawatiran akan potensi permasalahan kesehatan pekerja, oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan kajian risiko kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat risiko (risk rating/RR) kesehatan terkait pajanan dari kesebelas bahan kimia utama yang digunakan pekerja, pada proses produksi minyak dan gas di kapal FPSO XYZ tahun 2022. Metode Chemical Risk Assessment (CRA) yang digunakan adalah Stoffenmanager® 8 version 5.0 yang merupakan tools untuk menilai risiko kesehatan jalur pajanan inhalasi dan dermal dari penanganan enam bahan kimia oleh production technician di area kerja topside deck dan lima bahan kimia oleh utility operator di area kerja machinery deck. Hasil CRA menunjukkan bahwa tingkat risiko (RR) jalur inhalasi dimana satu bahan kimia kategori risiko tinggi (1,highest) delapan bahan kimia kategori risiko sedang (2, medium), dan dua bahan kimia risiko rendah (3, lowest). Sedangkan berdasarkan risk characterization ratio (RCR) pajanan inhalasi, ada dua bahan kimia yang diketahui nilai RCR task ≥ 1, yang berarti perkiraan konsentrasi emisi yang dihasilkan saat beraktivitas (task concentration estimation/TCE) terhadap potensi bahaya terhirup oleh production technician dan utility operator saat beraktivitas pada jarak yang dekat dengan sumber emisi, dikategorikan berbahaya atau risiko tidak dapat di tolerir (Unacceptable risk). Untuk tingkat risiko dermal efek lokal (skin local), sembilan bahan kimia masuk kategori risiko tinggi dan dua bahan kimia masuk kategori risiko sedang. Sedangkan tingkat risiko dermal efek sistemik (skin uptake), empat bahan kimia kategori risiko sedang, dan tujuh bahan kimia kategori risiko rendah. Hasil risk rating (RR) menentukan pula prioritas tindakan (Action Priority/AP) pengendalian risiko kesehatan. Rekomendasi pengendalian adalah menurunkan tingkat bahaya (HR) dengan melakukan penggantian bahan kimia (subtitusi) dengan bahan kimia yang lebih rendah tingkat bahayanya bagi kesehatan, dan untuk pajanan dermal (ER), otomatisasi proses penanganan, modifikasi teknik pekerjaan dengan membuat sistem penambahan bahan kimia secara gravitasi, menurunkan jumlah dosis pemakaian namun tetap efektif efisien (workplace-related modifiers), mengurangi waktu dan frekuensi penggunaan bahan kimia tersebut (activity time), penambahan ventilasi lokal (LEV) selain ventilasi mekanik, serta menggunakan baju khusus tahan kimia beserta sarung tangannya atau Chemsuit (control measures modifiers)
Along with the government's target to increase offshore oil and gas production, the use of chemicals in oil and gas production activities tends to increase, this raises concerns about potential health problems for workers, therefore it is necessary to conduct a chemical health risk assessment. This study aims to analyze the health risk rating (RR) related to exposure to the eleven main chemicals used by workers in the oil and gas production process on the FPSO XYZ ship in 2022. The Chemical Risk Assessment (CRA) method that is used is Stoffenmanager® 8 version 5.0 which is a tool to assess the health risks of inhalation and dermal exposure lines from the handling of six chemicals by production technicians on the topside deck work area and five chemicals by utility operators on the machinery deck work area. The results of the CRA show that the risk level (RR) for the inhalation route are one chemical in the high risk category (1,highest), eight chemicals in the medium risk category (2, medium), and two chemicals in the low risk category (3, lowest). Meanwhile, based on the risk characterization ratio (RCR) of inhalation exposure, there are two chemicals whose RCR task value is ≥ 1, which means the estimated concentration of emissions produced during the activities (task concentration estimation/TCE) against the potential inhalation hazard by production technicians and utility operators when activities at a close distance to the emission source, are categorized as a dangerous or unacceptable risk. For the level of dermal risk of local effects (skin local), nine chemicals are in the high risk category and two chemicals are in the medium risk category. While the level of risk of dermal systemic effects (skin uptake), four chemicals were in the moderate risk category, and seven chemicals were in the low risk category. The results of the risk rating (RR) also determine the priority of action (Action Priority/AP) for controlling health risks. Control recommendations are to reduce the level of hazard (HR) by replacing chemicals (substitutions) with lower chemicals levels of danger to health, and for dermal exposure (ER), automation of handling processes, modification of work techniques by making chemical addition systems automatically. gravity, reducing the number of doses used but still being effective and efficient (workplace-related modifiers), reducing the time and frequency of using these chemicals (activity time), adding local ventilation (LEV) in addition to mechanical ventilation, and using special chemical resistant clothing and gloves or Chemsuit (control measures modifiers)

Pajanan insektisida di tempat kerja dapat menyebabkan risiko kesehatan serius, mulai dari iritasi kulit hingga dampak sistemik. Penelitian ini menilai tingkat pajanan dermal pada sepuluh teknisi wanita pengendali hama menggunakan metode DREAM. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh aktivitas memiliki tingkat pajanan sangat rendah dengan total skor 8.89, tertinggi pada tahap mencuci alat (2.54). Tahapan lainnya seperti menuang, mencampur, dan menyemprot juga menunjukkan skor rendah. Meskipun APD digunakan, kontak langsung masih terjadi akibat ketidaksesuaian jenis APD dan kepatuhan rendah. Diperlukan peningkatan pelatihan K3, pengawasan rutin, serta penyediaan APD yang sesuai dan ramah wanita

Dampak pajanan kebisingan kerja dengan intensitas tinggi berkaitan dengan respons fisiologis tubuh yang dapat menyebabkan peningkatan tekanan darah. PT XYZ Karawang merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memiliki berbagai sumber kebisingan dengan aktivitas operasional yang berlangsung secara kontinu selama 24 jam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan nilai tekanan darah berdasarkan pajanan kebisingan (SEG) di area produksi PT XYZ Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak satu orang pada setiap SEG. Terdapat 11 SEG sehingga total sampel penelitian berjumlah 11 pekerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengukuran kebisingan menggunakan sound level meter dan noise dosimeter, pengukuran tekanan darah menggunakan tensimeter digital, serta pengumpulan karakteristik demografi pekerja menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada tekanan darah sistolik sebelum bekerja antara kelompok dengan pajanan kebisingan 0,05).
The impact of exposure to high-intensity occupational noise is associated with physiological responses of the body that can lead to increased blood pressure. PT XYZ Karawang is a manufacturing company with various sources of noise and operational activities that run continuously for 24 hours. This study aims to analyze differences in blood pressure values based on noise exposure (SEG) in the production area of PT XYZ Karawang. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of one person taken from each SEG. There were 11 SEGs, resulting in a total research sample of 11 workers. Data were collected through noise measurement using a sound level meter and noise dosimeter, blood pressure measurement using a digital sphygmomanometer, and collection of workers' demographic characteristics using a questionnaire. Salah satu transportasi umum pilihan masyarakat Jakarta adalah kereta Mass Rapid Train (MRT). Keselamatan kereta MRT merupakan isu yang penting untuk diperhatikan agar dapat menjaga keselamatan baik masinis maupun penumpang. Dalam pengoperasian kereta MRT, dilakukan oleh seorang masinis. Menurut data Komisi Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi (KNKT), di tahun 2016 sebanyak 45% kecelakaan disebabkan oleh masinis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fatigue serta faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kelelahan pada masinis seperti faktor terkait pekerjaan dan faktor tidak terkait pekerjaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Januari-Juni 2023 di PT. XYZ. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS) dalam mengukur kelelahan, dan Sound Level Meter dalam mengukur kebisingan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 67 masinis kereta MRT yang aktif mengoperasikan kereta. Hasil dari data kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan uji statistic chi-square. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 41,8% mengalami kelelahan. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pada faktor risiko terkait pekerjaan, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara shift kerja dengan kelelahan pada masinis. Pada faktor risiko tidak terkait pekerjaan, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara commuting time, dan kualitas tidur terhadap kelelahan pada masinis.

Tren absen pekerja sangat mempengaruhi produktivitas disutau perusahaan, absen dalam bekerja dianggap wajar oleh perusahaan. Data Office of National Statistic (ONS) menyatakan tingkat ketidakhadiran karena sakit meningkat menjadi 2,6% pada tahun 2022, angka tersebut merupakan yang tertinggi sejak tahun 2004. Berdasarkan data pegawai pekerja di PT XYZ kejadian ketidakhadiran pekerja terus meningkat dalam kurun waktu 2 tahun terakhir, data ketidakhadiran tersebut merupakan data terkait dengan pekerja yang mengalami ketidakhadiran karena sakit. Tercatat pada tahun 2022 terdapat 43% dan tahun 2023 sampai bulan September sebanyak 47% pekerja yang mengalami ketidakhadiran karena sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian ketidakhadiran pada pekerja di PT XYZ Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pendekatan desain cross sectional melalui data sekunder dan data primer, dengan pengambilan sampel total sampling sebanyak sampel 51 responden dan dianalisis dengan uji chi-square. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni – Desember 2023. Hasil penelitian deksriptif yaitu proporsi tertinggi pada pekerja yang mengalami ketidakhadrian (54,9%), umur pekerja < 40 tahun (88,2%.), masa kerja lama (51,0%), merokok (60,8%.), status gizi gemuk (45,1%), pekerja status kesehatan unfit (54,9%), pekerja kelelahan sedang (45,1%), dan pekerja stres sedang (39,2%) dan pekerja dengan beban kerja ringan (45,1%). Terdapat hubungan antara status merokok (p=0,045), status kesehatan (p=0,001), status gizi (p=0,045), kelelahan kerja (p=0,002), dan stres kerja (p=0,023). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara umur, masa kerja dan beban kerja.
The trend of worker absenteeism greatly influences productivity in a company, absence from work is considered normal by the company. Based on employee data at PT XYZ, the incidence of worker absence has continued to increase over the last 2 years. , the absence data is data related to workers who experience absence due to illness. It was recorded that in 2022 there would be 43% and in 2023 until September as many as 47% of workers would experience absence due to illness. This research aims to analyze the relationship between risk factors related to the incidence of absenteeism among workers at PT analyzed with the chi-square test. The research was conducted in June – December 2023. The descriptive research results were the highest proportion of workers experiencing absenteeism (54.9%), worker age < 40 years (88.2%), long working period (51.0%), smoking (60.8%), obese nutritional status (45.1%), unfit health status workers (54.9%), moderate fatigue workers (45.1%), and moderate stress workers (39.2%) and workers with light workloads (45.1%). There was a relationship between smoking status (p=0.045), health status (p=0.001), nutritional status (p=0.045), work fatigue (p=0.002), and work stress (p=0.023). There is no relationship between age, years of service and workload.
