Diarrhea is a global health problem that causes morbidity and death in all age groups. Diarrhea is transmitted from one person to another through fecal-oral transmission. Depok City became one of the cities with fluctuating diarrhea cases during 2013-2021. Depok City also ranked second as a city/regency with the highest number of diarrhea outbreaks in Indonesia in 2018. There are various factors that can affect diarrhea, including behavioral exposure factors such as clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and population density as well as environmental factors such as adequate drinking water coverage and healthy latrine coverage. This study aims to analyze the relationship between behavioral exposure factors (household with clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) coverage and population density) and environmental factors (drinking water coverage and healthy latrine coverage) to the occurrence of diarrhea in Depok City in 2013-2021. The research type is quantitative study using several methods such as ecological study and spatial analysis with secondary data from the Depok City Health Office. The results showed a significant relationship between adequate drinking water cover (p=0,004; r=-0,289) and healthy latrine coverage (p=0,020; r=-0,233) with the occurrence of diarrhea. Meanwhile, households with clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) coverage and population density showed no significant association with the occurrence of diarrhea. Spatial analysis maps also showed the distribution pattern of diarrhea in Depok City during 2013-2021 tends to be more common in areas with low coverage of adequate drinking water.

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is an airborne disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is still a health problem in the world as well as Indonesia. The high incidence of TB is influenced by a variety of risk factors, including environmental factors, behavioral factors, and health care factors. The study aims to find out the relationship between environmental factors including healthy home coverage and population density, behavioral factors including coverage of families with clean and healthy living behavior, and health care factors including health facilities and the success rate of TB treatment against the prevalence of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis in Surabaya City in 2018-2022. Methods: The research uses secondary data for five years (2018-2022) from the Central Statistical Agency of Surabaya and the Health Service of Surabaya with the method of ecological study. Results: The results of the study showed that the variables associated with the prevalence of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis are the healthy home coverage variables (r = -0,300), population density (r =0,343), and health facilities (r = 0,302) with each of them having a moderate relationship. Meanwhile, the coverage of families with clean and healthy living behavior and the success rate of TB treatment, did not show a significant correlation with the prevalence of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis. Conclusion: Variables associated with the prevalence of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis in Surabaya City in 2018-2022 are the healthy home coverage variables, population density, and health facilities. Thus, efforts are needed to control associated risk factors such as improved housing conditions and healthy home education, territorial development permits, and evaluation of the effectiveness of health facilities.

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is transmitted by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes infected with the dengue virus (DENV). During the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of dengue cases internationally and nationally decreased, as did the City of East Jakarta. Thus, East Jakarta City is the city with the highest dengue cases in DKI Jakarta Province. This study aims to analyze climate factors at time lag of 0 (non-time lag), 1 (time lag 1), and 2 (time lag 2) months, population density, and larva free index (LFI) with the incidence of DHF in the city of Jakarta. East before and during the 2018-2021 COVID-19 pandemic. The data were analyzed using the average difference test, correlation test, and spatial analysis. Statistically, there is a significant difference in the average incidence rate (IR) of DHF and LFI between 2018-2021 (p = 0.000; p = 0.011). In addition, the correlation test showed a significant relationship between rainfall at time lag 1 (p = 0.002; r = 0.041) and time lag 2 (p = 0.000; r = 0.651), air temperature at time lag 1 (p = 0.004; r = -0.441), and time lag 2 (p = 0.001; r = -0.48), as well as non-time lag air humidity (p = 0.002; r = 0.429), time lag 1 (p = 0.000; r = 0.668), and time lag 2 (p = 0.000; r = 0.699) with the incidence of DHF. Spatial and statistically, there was no significant relationship between population density and LFI with the incidence of DHF. Mapping the level of vulnerability to DHF events before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, shows that of the 10 sub-districts in East Jakarta City, 1 sub-district experienced an increase in the level of vulnerability to moderate and 2 sub-districts experienced a decrease in the level of vulnerability to low. Matraman sub-districts are classified as high vulnerability. Jatinegara, Duren Sawit, Kramatjati, and Ciracas sub-districts are classified as moderate vulnerability. The other 5 sub-districts are classified as low vulnerability. The existence of significant differences in the average ABJ and IR of DHF, the relationship between climatic factors and the incidence of DHF, as well as the high level of vulnerability in some areas, should be considered by the local government to increase efforts to prevent DHF and develop a strategic plan in controlling DHF.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the Dengue virus (DENV) which is transmitted to humans through the bites of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Dengue fever is a disease caused by infection from mosquitoes that develops the fastest and becomes a health threat in the world. The geographical area of Indonesia with a tropical climate is a hyper-endemic area for DHF. Depok City is one of the cities in West Java Province which has a fluctuating trend of Dengue fever every year. In 2019 and 2021 Depok City is ranked 2nd as the district/city with the highest DHF cases in Indonesia. This study used an ecological study design and correlation test analysis to determine the relationship between climate factors (rainfall, air temperature and air humidity), population density and larvae free rate (LFR) on the Incidence Rate (IR) of DHF in Depok City in 2017- 2021. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between rainfall time lag 0, time lag 1 and time lag 2, air temperature time lag 1, air humidity time lag 0, time lag 1 and time lag 2, and larva free number (LFR) on the Incidence Rate of DHF. The significant relationship between climate factors and LFR on DHF IR shows that prevention and control of DHF by doing PSN 3M Plus is necessary to do and must be improved by the Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok and the community. Besides that, cross-sector collaboration and cooperation between Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok dan BMKG should be done, so that appropriate policies and planning can be made for the prevention and control of DHF in Depok City, especially in the period before the increase of DHF incidence.
