Salah satu aktivitas di PT JICT adalah bongkar muat kontainer yang mempunyai resiko tinggi terhadap kerugian baik terhadap manusia, properti dan proses, dimana penulisan ini Iebih menekankan kepada sisi kerugian terhadap manusia dengan juga mengutarakan kerugian umum terhadap properti dan proses. PT JICT sangat memperhatikan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawannya, dengan mempunyai salah satu kebijakan adalah pelaksanaan pengkajian resiko pada aktivitas bongkar muat kontainer untuk mengetahui resiko apa yang terkadung dalam aktivitas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran resiko dan resiko utama aktivitas bongkar muat kontainer, mendapatkan kerugian akibat aktivitas tersebut serta mendapatkan pengendalian resiko.yang sesuai untuk subaktivitas dalam aktivitas bongkar muat kontainer, selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan tingkat resiko residu apabila pengendalian resiko dilaksanakan sehingga didapatkan bahwa apakah pengendalian resiko yang direkomendasikan sesuai dan bermanfaat.Menurut ILCI, 1991 penyebab kecelakaan terdiri dari beberapa sumber antara lain manusia, peralatan, material dan lingkungan yang satu sama lain sating mempunyai hubungan dalam menghasilkan kecelakaan.Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif analitis yang menggambarkan keadaan sebenarnya dengan memberikan resiko-resiko yang diamati dengan memberikan pengendalian yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan tingkat resiko tersebut.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tahapan identifikasi resiko ditemukan hampir seluruh subaktivitas bongkar muat kontainer mempunyai resiko terhadap manusia sebagai unit of analyses serta terhadap properti dan proses. Pada tahapan penilaian resiko yang terdiri dari analisa dan evaluasi resiko dengan pertimbangan tertentu, mendapatkan bahwa subaktivitas yang mempunyai resiko tertinggi adalah tango menuju tempat penumpukkan dan persiapan pembongkaran di kapal. Pengendalian resiko yang dapat dilakukan antara lain penghilangan resiko, pengalihan resiko dan pengurangan resiko. Dengan hasil perhitungan residu resiko didapatkan bahwa pengendalian resiko yangirekomendasikan dapat bermanfaat karena menurunkan tingkat resiko cukup besar. Residu resiko yang bersisa tergantung terhadap kondisi peralatan, keadaan lingkungan sekitar dan kapabilitas manusia yang tidak terlepas dari fungsi manajemen puncak.Telah begitu banyak usaha yang dilakukan untuk mencegah kecelakaan di PT JICT seperti penetapan Surat Keputusan Direksi HK No 561/I/I/JICT12001 tentang Aturan Umum Keselamatan di PT JICT. Namun di lapangan masih banyak terjadi pelanggaran aturan tersebut seperti batas kecepatan maksimal tidak dipatuhi. Dengan demikian kegiatan sosialisasi aturan umum akan sangat bermanfaat
The Risk Assessment of Loading and Unloading Container Activities at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (PT JICT), Tanjung Priok - Jakarta Loading and unloading container is one of the activities at PT JICT which posses the highest risk which can cause losses of people, property and process whereas in this thesis put more stress on the losses of people as well as discuss on the losses in general for the property and the process. PT JICT is very concerned for its employee's health and safety by having on of its policy in doing the risk assessment in loading and unloading container activities with its purpose to know what risk will occur during the activities done.The aim of this research is to know about risks and the main risk at loading and unloading container activities also to get data about losses on these activities, then to treat the risk according to the subactivities in loading and unloading containers, finally calculate the level of residu risk whether the treat risk done and recommended is appropriate and useful[.According to ILCI, 1991 the cause of accident consists of many sources such as people, equipment, material and environment whereas they have connection to each other in causing the accident.In this research method used descriptive analyses which illustrates facts by giving the risks observed and treated furthermore reduced the risk.The result of this research shows that risk identification found nearly all subactivities at loading and unloading containers have got risk to people as unit of analyses and risk evaluation with fully consideration found that the highest risks are tango movement to yard and prepare for unloading on the ship. Risk treatment can be done by eliminate risk, substitute risk and reduce risk. By calculating the residu risk found that risk treatment recommended can be useful because decrease risk level. The hazardous of residu risk depends on equipment condition, environment. and personal capability which is rely on by top management vision.Much effort have been done to prevent the accident at PT JICT such as regarding the general risk regulation at PT JICT. However many people disobey the regulation. One of example the truck drive over limit the maximum speed. Therefore the socialization of the general regulation will have advantages.

The high risk of accidents and health of workers in the industry today should be a major concern both for workers, employers, and government, especially in the PT. Pertamina (Persero) LPG and Gas Products Region III Depot LPG Tanjung Priok in terms of risk Analysis in the process of loading and unloading of LPG 3 Kg size. By understanding and realization of the theory of risk management all the potential risks inherent in any process of the work done will be done in the minimization and prevention and further control the work process is.
Risk Level Analysis of Material Manual Handling for Musculoskeletal Disorder's Symptoms to Workers in PT. Pantja Motor Isuzu in 2003.Material manual handlings are significant activities in all kind of industries. Injuries caused by material manual handling are 30% of all kind of injuries (Straker, 2000), usually have impact to trunk (baca injury), it is about 60°% of all kind of injuries. In general material manual handlings injuries are musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), sprain and strain has a great portion (93.7%) among men workers mostly in manufacture industries. The purpose of this research is to analyse the risk of material manual handling for MSDs's symptoms among workers in the working group of body shop, trimming cabin, and trimming chassis final. This research is a case study with observation approximation. Check list is a tool to assess the risk identification and questioner as another tool to survey the symptoms. The population sample survey includes all labors in those divisions. The population of risk identification consist of three factors such as task characteristic, object characteristic and environment factor during working hour. The result of risk identification is analysed to determine the risk level of task characteristic, object characteristic, environment characteristic and overall. All results were coming from all working group (body shop, trimming cabin and trimming chassis final). The general summary is all working groups have a medium ergonomic risk In general points/overall and job characteristic points, trimming cabin has the highest level of risk Trimming chassis final has the highest risk level of object characteristic points. So, all condition/situation and activities are already having its ergonomic risk lead to musculoskeletal disorders. All working groups have a small number of ergonomic risks compared to working environment characteristic. There are some suggestions to improve such as working procedure/work practice, revision of working space (e.g. distance between material stock and working space, distance between working groups, etc), object/hand tools and administrative evaluation (e. g rotation, work rest cycle, training, etc).
Manual handling has the highest number of cases that cause of MusculoskeletalDisorders (MSDs) in 2012. Therefore, this study aims to describe the risk factors ofmanual handling among porters at Pasar Senen Station in 2014. The risk factor ofmanual handling are work factor, the caracteristics of workers, work environment,and layout of the workplace. Design research is cross sectional with total sample of61 workers. The method of this study used Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC) toassess the job factor and Nordic Body Map questionnaire to determine the subjectivecomplaints of MSDs among porters. Based on the assessment results of QEC isknown that the activity that has the highest risk is lifting into the trunk with a 86%risk level. Beside that, 97% of porters had complaints of MSDs. The most risk part ofbody are waist, legs, arms, shoulder and back. From these results it can be concludedthat manual handling have a very high level of risk and the investigations andchanges should be done as soon as possible. Porters should improve the way of theirlifting, lowering, and carrying goods properly and safely to prevent MSDs injuries.Keywords: manual handling, Muskuloskeletal Disorders (MSDs), QEC, risk factors

This thesis contains the relationship of risk factors for manual material handling (MMH) with complaints of subjective musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS) to workers in the Department of Textile Chemical Production of PT. X in 2020. In this study, observation of manual risk handling (MMH) risk factors is using questionnaires and the Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC) method. Besides, to find out complaints about musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS) researcher used the Nordic Body Map (NBM) Questionnaire. The study design is a cross-sectional study with an observational approach. The analysis used in this study is univariate and bivariate analysis. Univariate analysis is used to provide an overview of each risk factor for manual material handling. While bivariate analysis is used to see the relationship between individual risk factors (age, years of service, body mass index, exercise habits, and stress) and work risk factors (object weight, work duration, and work posture) with musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS) complaints that felt by workers in the Textile Chemical Production Department of PT. X in 2020. The results of this study found that there is a relationship between body mass index (BMI) with complaints of musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS) felt by workers (pvalue = 0.040). In addition, there is a relationship between work stress and musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS) complaints felt by workers (p-value = 0.044).
