Kelelahan kerja (fatigue) merupakan sebuah kondisi dimana seorang pekerja/tenaga kerja tidak bekerja secara maksimal dan mengalami penurunan produktivitas. International Labour Organization (ILO) (2016) mengatakan bahwa sebanyak 32% pekerja/tenaga kerja mengalami kasus kelelahan kerja. Selain itu, 27% pekerja/tenaga kerja mengalami kasus kelelahan kerja berat dan 18,3% pekerja/tenaga kerja mengalami kasus kelelahan kerja sedang. Kelelahan kerja juga akan dapat menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas kerja, peningkatan risiko pekerja/tenaga kerja melakukan kesalahan, dan peningkatan risiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Desain penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor risiko kelelahan kerja pada pekerja/tenaga kerja pengelasan di industri minyak dan gas bumi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 97 pekerja/tenaga kerja welder di PT XYZ. Metode pengambilan data dengan melakukan pengisian kuesioner kepada responden dan melakukan pengukuran menggunakan alat oxymeter, lux meter, sound level meter, dan thermometer dan humidity meter. Data akan diolah secara deskriptif dan inferensial untuk melihat gambaran dan hubungan dari setiap variabel. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah faktor individu (usia, masa kerja, kebiasaan merokok, dan waktu istirahat), faktor pekerja/tenaga kerjaan (beban kerja fisik, beban kerja mental, dan durasi kerja harian), dan faktor lingkungan kerja (kebisingan, pencahayaan, dan suhu). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kebiasaan merokok (OR=3.100 (1.253 – 7.672)), waktu istirahat (OR=5.913 (2.314–15.110)) , beban kerja fisik (OR=3.529 (1.509 - 8.256)), beban kerja mental (OR=2.658 (1.144–6.180)), kebisingan (OR=4.370 (1.844 – 10.354)), dan suhu (OR=4.083 (1.386-12.031)) dengan kejadian kelelahan kerja pada welder di PT. XYZ Sedangkan variabel usia, masa kerja, durasi kerja harian, dan pencahayaan tidak menunjukan adanya hubungan dengan kejadian kelelahan kerja pada welder di PT.XYZ. Work fatigue is a condition where a worker does not work optimally and experiences decreased productivity. The International Labor Organization (ILO) (2016) said that as many as 32% of workers experience work fatigue. In addition, 27% of workers experience severe work fatigue and 18.3% of workers experience moderate work fatigue. Work fatigue can also cause decreased work productivity, increased risk of workers making mistakes, and increased risk of work accidents. The research design in this study was cross-sectional. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors for work fatigue in welding workers in the oil and gas industry using a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 97 welder workers at PT XYZ. The data collection method was by filling out questionnaires to respondents and taking measurements using an oxymeter, lux meter, sound level meter, and thermometer & humidity meter. The data will be processed descriptively and inferentially to see the picture and relationship of each variable. The independent variables in this study were individual factors (age, length of service, smoking habits, and rest time), work factors (physical workload, mental workload, and daily work duration), and work environment factors (noise, lighting, and temperature). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between smoking habits (OR=3.100 (1.253 – 7.672)), rest time (OR=5.913 (2.314–15.110)), physical workload (OR=3.529 (1.509 - 8.256)), mental workload (OR=2.658 (1.144–6.180)), noise (OR=4.370 (1.844 – 10.354)), and temperature (OR=4.083 (1.386-12.031)) with the occurrence of work fatigue in welders at PT. XYZ Meanwhile, the variables of age, length of service, daily work duration, and lighting did not show any relationship with the occurrence of work fatigue in welders at PT.XYZ. Resiko bekerja di perusahaan migas PT X yang berlokasi di offshore Natuna adalah relatif tinggi. Sepanjang tahun 2018 – 2023 terjadi fluktuasi kecelakaan kerja di PT. X. Bahkan setelah dua tahun (tahun 2020 dan 2019) tidak terjadi kecelakaan kerja untuk kategori recordable injury (kasus di atas FAC), di tahun 2021 terjadi lagi 3 kasus (1 RWDC dan 2 MTC) dan di tahun 2022 terjadi 4 kasus (1 LWDC, 1 RWDC, dan 2 MTC). Di tahun 2023 terjadi 1 kasus (1 RWDC). Korban kecelakaan kerja di tahun 2021 didominasi oleh pekerja kontrak dan pekerja tetap sedangkan kecelakaan kerja di tahun 2022 dan 2023 semuanya terjadi pada pekerja kontrak. Sebagian besar kecelakaan yang terjadi penyebab langsungnya adalah unsafe acts. Sampai saat ini belum ada analisis menyeluruh dari data investigasi kecelakaan-kecelakaan yang telah dilakukan PT X untuk mendapatkan faktor-faktor penyebab dasar dari semua kecelakaan tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian perlu dilakukan, dan karena berhubungan dengan human factor, maka pada penelitian ini akan dianalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja tersebut dengan metode Human Factor Analysis and Classification System (HFACS). Tujuan: Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kecelakaan kerja di PT X antara tahun 2018 – 2023 dengan metode HFACS. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data sekunder yang digunakan berupa rekaman kejadian kecelakaan dan laporan investigasi atas 41 kecelakaan di PT X. Data sekunder tersebut kemudian diklasifikasikan sesuai dengan empat (4) tahapan kegagalan di metode HFACS, yaitu unsafe acts, precondition of unsafe acts, unsafe supervision, dan organizational influence. Pengklasifikasian ini divalidasi oleh dua ahli keselamatan kerja, di mana hasil validasinya relatif tinggi (96%). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa faktor-faktor HFACS yang mempengaruhi kecelakaan terbesar berturut-turut adalah adverse mental state (51,2%), skill-based error (39%), routine violations (34,1%), dan tools/technological dan resource management (masing-masing 31,7%). Kemudian disusul oleh decision error (29,3%), inadequate supervision (22%), failed to correct problem dan organizational process masing-masing (17,1%), lalu supervisory violation dan organizational climate masing-masing (9,8%). Kesimpulan: Faktor-faktor HFACS yang memengaruhi kecelakaan kerja di PT X dapat digunakan sebagai masukan untuk perbaikan program K3 perusahaan guna menurunkan angka kecelakaan dengan memprioritaskannya pada faktor HFACS yang bersifat latent failure baru kemudian pada faktor active failure-nya, karena latent failure - jika diperbaiki- akan menjadi kunci untuk mencegah berulangnya kecelakaan.
The risks of working for the PT X , an oil and gas company located offshore Natuna are relatively high. Throughout 2018 – 2023 there were fluctuations in work accidents at PT. X. Even after two years (2020 and 2019) there was no work accident for the recordable injury category (cases above FAC), in 2021 there were 3 cases (1 RWDC and 2 MTC) and in 2022 there were 4 cases (1 LWDC, 1 RWDC, and 2 MTC). In 2023 there was 1 case (1 RWDC). Work accident victims in 2021 are dominated by contract workers and permanent workers, while work accidents in 2022 and 2023 all occur in contract workers. Most of the accidents that occur are directly caused by unsafe acts. Until now there has been no comprehensive analysis of accident investigation data that has been carried out by PT X to obtain the basic causal factors of all these accidents. Thus, research needs to be carried out, and because it is related to human factors, this research will analyze the factors that cause work accidents using the Human Factor Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) method. Objective: Analyzing the factors that influence work accidents at PT X between 2018 – 2023 using the HFACS method. Method: This research is descriptive analytical research with a qualitative approach. The secondary data used is in the form of recordings of accidents and investigation reports on 41 accidents at PT X . This classification was validated by two occupational safety experts, where the validation results were relatively high (96%). Results: The research results explain that the HFACS factors that influence the biggest accidents are adverse mental state (51.2%), skill-based errors (39%), routine violations (34.1%), and tools/technological and resources, respectively. management (31.7% each). Then followed by decision errors (29.3%), inadequate supervision (22%), failed to correct problems and organizational processes respectively (17.1%), then supervisory violations and organizational climate respectively (9.8%). Conclusion: The HFACS factors that influence work accidents in PT X can be used as input for improving the company's H&S program to reduce the number of accidents by prioritizing the HFACS factors which are latent failures and then the active failure factors, because latent failures - if corrected - will become key to preventing recurrence of accidents.
Stres kerja adalah respon buruk seseorang secara fisik maupun emosional, ketika kompetensi pekerja tidak mampu memenuhi tuntutan pekerjaan yang diberikan. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, pekerja di industri garmen juga memiliki risiko mengalami stres kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor risiko psikosisal dengan kejadian stres kerja pada pekerja PT X, sebuah perusahaan garmen di Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Faktor yang diteliti antara lain faktor individu, faktor konten kerja, faktor konteks kerja, dan faktor effort-reward. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan desain studi the explanatory sequential. Pengumpulan data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara dilakukan untuk pengumpulan data kualitatif. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji chi-square dengan software SPSS 27.0 untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang siginifikan antara variabel independen dengan variabele dependen. Berdasarkan uji statistik, didapatkan prevalensi stres kerja sebesar 24,9% pada responden secara keseluruhan, sebesar 26,5% pada tim produksi, dan 18,2% pada tim supporting. Variabel yang berhubungan dengan stres kerja pada pekerja secara keseluruhan antara lain: lingkungan dan peralatan kerja (p= 0,004); desain tugas (p= 0,042); beban kerja (p= 0,001); jadwal kerja (p= 0,001); pengembangan karir (p= 0,001); hubungan interpersonal (p= 0,034); status pernikahan (p= 0,003); dan effort-reward (p= 0,002). Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut berupa penerapan manajamen stres kerja dari tingkat manajemen, terutama pada faktor yang berhubungan dengan stres kerja, untuk mencegah kejadian stres kerja yang lebih besar.
Work-related stress was an bad someone physically or emotionally, when workers ability unable to meet the demands of jobs provided. Based on the research before, workers in the garment industry also have the risk of experiencing work stress. This study attempts to analyze the relationship between the psychosocial risk factors with work stress on workers PT X, a garment company in Semarang, Central Java. The individual factors, the content of work factors, the context of work factors, and the effort-reward factors was included in this study. Mixed method were used with the explanatory sequential design study. Quantitative data collected by using questionnaire and interviews performed for qualitative data collection. Data processing uses a chi-square test with software SPSS 27.0 to analyze if there's any significant connection between independent variables and dependent variable. By statistical test, prevalence of work stress prevalence is 24.9 % on all respondents, 26.5 % on production team, and 18.2 % on supporting team. Variables associated with work stress include: environment and work equipment (p = 0.004 ); task design (p = 0,042 ); workload (p = 0.001 ); work schedule (p = 0.001 ); career development (0.001 ); interpersonal relationship (p = 0.034 ); marital status (= 0.003); and effort-reward factor (p = 0,00). Based on this research, the company needs to implemented stress management program, especially on the factors associated with work stress, to prevent more stress from happening. The death rate due to elevators in the world at 1999-2009 was 263 people, caused by 57% falling, 18% being pinched, 17% falling by objects, and 9% other causes. One of the efforts to prevent accidents was to analyze psychosocial factors that caused work stress and at-risk behavior that can lead to work accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of psychosocial factors to work stress and at-risk behavior of employees at PT. X which is engaged in the elevator and escalator sector. This research method was descriptive quantitative, cross-sectional study, with a sample of 200 people. Psychosocial factors related to workload and work speed, job control, organizational function, interpersonal relationships, organizational roles, career development, home-work interface, psychological demands, participation or supervision, bullying and violence. There is a relationship between work stress and at-risk behavior. Behaviors that often arise when employees experience work stress are rushing at work decisions. The highest work stress complaints were related to physiological complaints, namely the consumption of headache relievers; behavioral complaints, namely interrupting and cutting other people's sentences; emotional complaints, namely refusal to go to work; Cognitive complaints are difficulty thinking clearly and concentrating. PT X should conduct a more comprehensive risk assessment, clarify career development, and recalculate the workload, effectiveness and efficiency to prevent negative impact on employees' work-life balance.
