This study focuses how the emotional intelligence level or Hermina Mother and Child Hospital's nurse is, and is there correlation between individual and job characteristics with emotional intelligence level, and what the dominant influencing factor is. This research is done with cross sectional and quantitative approach. The result finds emotional intelligence score is 3,6872. There is significant difference of emotional intelligence level among middle educated and high educated responden. There is no significant difference of emotional intelligence level among not yet married and married responden. The age and working period have positive correlation with emotional intelligence level. The dominant influencing factor is eduation level.
Quality is the key point of the sustainability of hospital institution. Location of RSIA Hermina Jatinegara in East Jakarta is very strategic. People compossition in large number (39,30%) of growing children and woman in reproductive age could become potential market for the ?Growth & Development Clinic?. Growing number of customer visit is not enough to conclude that customer served in good service and meet customer expectation. So, it sholud be have evaluation of hospital performance and customer expectation. Research design method is conducted with the Quantitative Descriptive Analysis with cross sectional approach. Data collected from questionnaire of 97 customer and 26 local hospital stafs (Management stafs, Doctors and Physiotheraphiest). Data analysis is made through univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis and map into Importance Performance Matrix.
ABSTRAK Dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM terutama para manajer Rumah Sakit anggota Hermina Hospital Group adalah dengan mengetahui hubungan antara kompetensi, beban kerja dan kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung serta besarannya antara variabel kompetensi, beban kerja dan kinerja manajer di RS anggota Hermina Hospital Group tahun 2013. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan metode SEM-PLS (Structured Equation Model - Partial Least Squares). Hasil yang didapatkan adalah adanya hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi dengan kinerja, adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi dengan beban kerja, serta adanya hubungan yang positif dan tidak signifikan antara beban kerja dengan kinerja.
ABSTRACT This thesis designed to improve the quality of human resources, focusing on the managers of hospital branches of Hermina Hospital Group. The limit set on to investigate the relationships between competence, workload and performance. This study aimed to determine the direct and indirect effect as well as the number between competence, workload and performance of managers at hospital branches of Hermina Hospital Group in 2013.The research method was conducted using SEM-PLS (Structured Equation Model - Partial Least Squares). The research was able to obtained results of a direct and indirect relationships which are positive and with significant correlation between competence and performance, a positive ad significant relationship between competence and workload, as well as a positive and not significant relationship between workload and performance.
Pada prinsipnya asuransi merupakan himpunan dana dari suatu populasi untuk dimanfaatkan membiayai sejumlah kecil dari populasi tersebut apabila sedang jatuh sakit. Jaminan asuransi kesehatan merupakan sumber dana potensial yang dapat digalang untuk pemeliharaan masyarakat. Pemanfaatkan jasa asuransi didalam pembayaran pasien baik rawat jalan maupun rawat inap juga dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Hermina Jatinegara. Di RSIA Hermina Jatinegara, yang paling berpotensi menghasilkan piutang paling banyak dari segi nominal adalah piutang rawat inap asuransi dan perusahaan. Jumlah piutang tak tertagih pasien rawat inap jaminan asuransi dan perusahaan di RSIA Hermina Jatinegara mengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2004 ke tahun 2005 (Rp.48.942.938 3 Rp.116.072.250). Presentase piutang tak tertagih terhadap total tagihan asuransi dan perusahaan pada tahun 2004 dan tahun 2005 adalah sebesar 1,30%, dan 1,07%. Berarti jugs terjadi peningkatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bersifat pengembangan yang pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui observasi pada bagian bagian terkait, wawancara mendalam dengan para informan serta pengumpulan dokumen-dokumen pendukung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa efektifitas penagihan piutang rawat inap pada jaminan asuransi dan perusahaan sehingga dapat menurunkan jumlah piutang tak tertagih dan meningkatkan pendapatan rumah sakit pada tahun 2005. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan sistem I.P.O. yaitu Input, Process dan Output. Melalui hasil penelitian ini diharapkan adanya perbaikan pada manajemen piutang yang akhirnya akan berdampak pada optimalisasi penagihan piutang rumah sakit. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa jumlah pelaksana di beberapa tahap siklus piutang dirasa kurang memadai. Begitu juga mengenai sarana pendukung untuk melaksanakan proses siklus piutang antara lain komputer, telepon, line telepon, faksimili dan ruangan kerja_ Selain itu kebijakan tentang periode penagihan belum ditetapkan, juga mengenai isi kontrak perjanjian kerjasama antara pihak rumah sakit dengan pihak asuransi dan perusahaan juga belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan (punishmentldenda 2% bila debitur tidak melunasi kewajibannya dalam 30 hari). Pada akhir penelitian ini direkomendasikan perlunya diadakan diklat atau sosialisasiyang lebih sering pada bagian informasi, koordinasi yang lebih balk antara bagian terkait, pengadaan sarana yang lebih baik serta ketegasan dalam menjalankan perjanjian isi kontrak dengan pihak ketiga.
Principally insurance is the fund collection from a population in order to be used in costing a few amounts from such population if getting illness. Healthy insurance guarantee is a potential fund source that can be collected in order to maintain the society. The using of insurance service in paying of patient both out-patient or in-patient also be executed in Hermina Jatinegara Hospital. In Hermina Jatinegara Hospital. the most potential in producing receivable is from in-patient of insurance and company. In-patient bad-debt of insurance and company in Herrnina Jatinegara Hospital increase from 2004 to 2005 (Rp.48.942.938 - Rp.116.072.250). Percentage of bad-debt to total collectible amount in-patient of insurance and company of 2004 and 2005 is about 1,30%, and 1,07%. It means, increasing too. This research named qualitative descriptive research that have development characteristic which its data collection using observation in related department, in-depth interview with the informan and supporting documents collections. The goal of this research is to analize the effectiveness of in-patient insurance collection, so it can decrease bad-debt and increase the income of hospital in 2006. The method used in this research is I.P.O. approach system namely Input, Process and Output. By this result of research be hoped there is repairing in receivable management and finally, it have an effect into hospital collecting optimalizalion. The result of this research is known that the staff amount in some ciclus collection be felt less suitable. it is also about supporting tools in order to execute ciclus collection process which are computer. telephone, phone line, faximile and room. Beside that the policy about collection period that have not decided yet. also about cooperation agrement contract contain between hospital side and insurance and company side is not executed (punishment about 2% if the debitor is not pay their obligation in 30 days). In the end of this research recommended the importance of training education event or socialization that more frequent into information department, more better coordination between related department, the better supply of supporting tools and also the clearness in operating the contract contain agreement with the third party.
Keberhasilan penyelenggaraan Diklat berbasis kompetensi ditunjukkan dengan adanya keselarasan tujuan program dengan kebutuhan dan strategi organisasi, dukungan manajemen dan teknis pelaksanaan program. RSIA Hermina Bekasi termasuk salah satu rumah sakit yang memiliki keseriusan dalam penyelenggaraan program Diklat Keperawatan berbasis kompetensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penyelenggaraan serta rencana pengembangan program Diklat Keperawatan berbasis kompetensi di RSIA Hermina Bekasi dengan mengacu pada Teori Dubois (1996) tentang Model Sistem Strategik Diklat Berbasis Kompetensi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam semi terstruktur serta telaah data sekunder. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penyelenggaraan Diklat Keperawatan berbasis kompetensi di RSIA Hermina Bekasi sudah cukup baik dilaksanakan dari segi teknisnya. Perlu adanya perbaikan terutama pada tahap analisa kebutuhan pelatihan, tahap pengembangan model kompetensi dan pada tahap pengembangan intervensi pembelajaran. Rencana pengembangan program Diklat Keperawatan berbasis kompetensi di RSIA Hermina Bekasi meliputi perlunya dilakukan pengkajian kembali budaya organisasi, meningkatkan profesionalisme SDM pengelola Diklat, mengadakan penelusuran potensi dan kompetensi guna pembuatan matriks kompetensi, penilaian kompetensi metode 360º, membuat model kompetensi kelompok unit kerja, standarisasi penilaian kompetensi dasar, mengembangkan metode pembelajaran mandiri dan diskusi kelompok, membudayakan pembelajaran masal sistem on-line, dan membuat penilaian kompetensi instruktur.Diharapkan saran pada penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan dan perbaikan bagi pelaksanaan Diklat Keperawatan berbasis kompetensi di RSIA Hermina Bekasi pada masa mendatang.
The success of the organizing a competency-based training was demonstrated by the synchronized program goals with the needs and organization strategy, management support and the organizing program techniques. RSIA Hermina Bekasi is an exemplary hospital that showed seriousness in implementation of nursing competence-based training. This research aims to find out the organizing as well as competency-based Nursing development training program in the RSIA Hermina Bekasi. The method referenced to the theory of Dubois (1996) on the Strategic System Competency-based Training Model. Research methods using qualitative methods with semi structured in depth interviews and deep examination of secondary data. The results of the study noted that organizing of the Nursing competence-based training program in the RSIA Hermina Bekasi already fairly well implemented in terms of technical assistance. Improvements are necessary especially on training needs analysis phase, the development model of competence and on the stage of development of the learning intervention. Nursing development plan-based competency training program in the RSIA Hermina Bekasi needs to be evaluated. Particularly the study of organization culture to enrich the values, increase the professionalism of HRD, conducting soft competency assessment in order to assemble competency matrix, assessment by the method of 360º, models for competency based work team development, standardization of basic competencies assessment, develop self study method and forum group discussion, cultivate learning mass on-line system and create assessment of the competence of trainers. The recommendation on the study is expected can be used as inputs to improve the implementation of the nursing competence-based training in the RSIA Hermina Bekasi in the future.
