ABSTRACT The spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is influenced by the mosquito Aedes aegypti, the dengue patients, and spatially influenced climate (rainfall, humidity, temperature). DHF risk factors contribute to the increasing population of Aedes aegypti, which is one factor that led to increased transmission of dengue virus for DHF. This research was the study of ecology through a partial approach.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to get a description of spatial dynamics with dengue transmission of epidemiological approaches in the District of Duren Sawit, East Jakarta Municipality.
The results revealed that the dynamics of dengue transmission occurs in the home with the distance of the adjacent cases (clusters) that is less than 100 meters and a total of five clusters.

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) has become a public health problem inJakarta, especially in Duren Sawit Subdistrict. Incidence of DHF is influenced byseveral factors such as individual characteristics, knowledge levels, behaviours andenvironmental conditions. The purpose of this research is to find out the DHF riskfactors in the Pondok Kelapa Urban Village, Duren Sawit Subdistrict, East Jakarta2014. This research used a case control design. It was held in May to June 2014 byselecting 50 cases and 50 controls randomly. The data collection was conductedthrough a direct interview with respondents by using a questionnaires andobservation activities in their residence. The result of bivariate analysis found thatthere are a meaningful relationship between age (p value=0,000; OR=6,66), sex (pvalue=0,007; OR=0,29) and type of work (p value=0,000; OR=6,64) with incidenceof DHF in Pondok Kelapa Urban Village, Duren Sawit Subdistrict. From thisresearch, it can be seen that the cross sector cooperation is needed to make aneradication of DHF. Beside that, counseling should be implemented in order toincrease public knowledge about DHF so they are able to change their behaviourtowards betterKeywords: DHF, individual characteristic, knowledge, behaviour, environmen

In Indonesia, DHF has become a public health problemduring the last 45 years. Some of the risk factors to the occurrence of infectionand the development of DHF include population density and climatic factors. Thisstudy aim to determine correlation between population density and climaticfactors in the incidence of DHF in Bogor City in 2010-2013. This study is aquantitative study with ecology design.Measurement of climatic factors includes temperature, humidity and rainfall. Thedata collected included secondary data population density, climatic factors and thenumber of DHF cases. The results of this study indicate that there is a significantcorrelation between humidity and DHF incidence in Bogor City in 2010-2013.Meanwhile, for population density, temperature and rainfall there is no significantcorrelation with the incidence of DHF.
