ABSTRAK Penularan penyakit infeksi HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B dan hepatitis C, dari pasien ke petugas kesehatan dapat terjadi melalui kecelakaan kerja. Perilaku petugas laboratoriun sebagai bagian dari petugas kesehatan dalam menerapkan kewaspadaan universal merupakan salah satu faktor penting terjadinya penularan infeksi. Petugas laboratorium yang tidak menerapkan kewaspadaan universal berisiko lebih tinggi terpajan penyakit infeksi tersebut di tempat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perilaku kepatuhan petugas laboratorium dalam penerapan kewaspadaan universal dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan kepatuhan petugas laboratorium klinik dalam menerapkannya. Perilaku kepatuhan ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor intrinsik dan faktor eksrinsik (Social Cognitive Theory). Penelitiani nimerupakan studi kasus yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi sebagai metoda pengumpulan data yang dilakukan sejak bulan Mei-Juni 2013 di rumah sakit “XY”. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepatuhan penerapan kewaspadaan universal pada petugas laboratorium di Rumah Sakit “XY” sebagian besar masih kurang. Faktor yang berkaitan dengan kurangnya kepatuhan petugas laboratorium terhadap kewaspadaan universal dari faktor intrinsik adalah pengetahuan, sedangkan dari faktor ekstrinsik adalah pelatihan dan dukungan atasan (pengawasan, penghargaan dan sanksi).
ABSTRACT The transmission of infectious diseases HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and hepatitis C from patient to health care workers can occur through accidents. Behavior of laboratory workers as part of health workers in implementing universal precautions as one of important factors is the infection transmission. Laboratory workers who are not at high risk of implementing universal precautions are more exposed to suffer infectious disease in their workplace. This study aims to explain the compliance behavior of laboratory workers in the application of universal precautions as well as factors associated with compliance in the clinical laboratory workers apply. Compliance behavior can be influenced by internal factors and eksternal factors (Social Cognitive Theory). This research is a case study using a qualitative approachment by conducting interviews and observations as data collection method since May-June 2013 at “XY” Hospital. The results indicate that the application of universal precautions compliance in laboratory workers at “XY” Hospital are still largely lacking. The factors associated with lack of this compliance on universal precautions of laboratory workers is knowledge (internal factor) whereas training and supervisor support (supevision, rewards and funishment) are related to the external factors.

They were 171 workers fatally injured in England, meanwhile, they were 4.380 workers function disabilities, 42 has physical defect, and 2.144 died. At 1996, OSHA releases 5 core elements, one of them is evaluation of program effectiveness. PP no. 50, 2012 says occupational safety and health have to evaluated. Therefore, this research have done to evaluated OSH programs.
Job stress is often happen in the nurses. Especially among nurses in ER, ICU, and hospitalization. Each activity work in the room can be a stressor for nurses because they are always in a hospital room that is the largest number in a hospital. Each activity to handle in room sometimes potential to become stressor for nurses. The objective of this study is to know the relationship of individual and job characteristics around nurses to their job stress in Rumah Sehat Terpadu Dompet Dhuafa Hospital. The design of this survey is an analytical survey that provides an overview of the stress of work and to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the individual and job characteristics with job stress. Population to this research summed 36 respondents and the sample is all total of population. Collecting data conducted by observation to the working condition and by questionnaire about the individual and job characteristics. The results showed that 38.9% of nurses experienced stress and 61.1% of nurses do not experience stress. The result of Chi Square test with confidence level of ? = 0.05 showed: existing a significant relationship sex (p value 0.020), role in the organization (p value 0.042), and salary (p value 0.020) with the job stress. There is no found a significant relationship between age, education, marital status, years of service, workload, occupational hazards, shift work, work routines, promotion, climate and organizational structure with job stress. It is required institutional control over working stress by the management and also to those nurses, this way is aimed to control and preserve it over resulting any illness on working.
