This analysis aimed at identifing the elements of ideation and find out how the elements relate to the use of long acting contraception, especially Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) that include IUD and implant in West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with cross-sectional study design. The data was a secondary data derived from the Improving Contraceptive Mix Method (ICMM) Survey conducted in 2015. The research subjects were 6,384 women aged 14- 49 years, married, had used FP and originating from Bima, Central Lombok and North Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara province. Confirmatory analysis factor was use to identify the appropriate elements from 19 variables. Bivariate and multivariate analyzes were then performed to see the relationship of ideation element and the use of LARC. The result shows that 19 variables formed three dimentions of LARC ideation: attitude about LARC, knowledge about long acting contraception and interpersonal communication. Positive attitude regarding LARC and interpersonal communication was found strongly associated with the use of LARC after controled by number of children and district. The odds of using LARC was 7 times higher among women with a positive attitude compare to women with negative attitudes (AOR: 7.11, 95% CI, 6.11- 8.27), and the odds of using LARC was higher among women with high frequency of interpersonal communication (AOR: 2.45, 95% CI, 1.97-3.03) compared to women with low frequency of communication. This study reveals the relevance of the ideation model in contraceptive specially LARC use reasearch and program. Programs to improve the use of LARC in West Nusa Tenggara should prioritize on improving positive attitudes towards LARC and promoting interpersonal communication to couples of reproductive age.

This thesis discusses the relationship between the choice of information quality of health workers with the selection of long-term contraceptive methods (MKJP) in Indonesia in 2017. This study was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods. For quantitative research methods using secondary data that is IDHS data (2017) and qualitative research conducted with in-depth interviews. The sample of this research is WUS aged 15-49 years and using modern contraception. The results showed that MKJP users who got choice information with poor quality amounted to 46.2%. The results of multivariable analysis showed that there was a relationship between the choice of information from health workers and the selection of the MKJP after being controlled for age, education, occupation, economic status, area of residence, knowledge of family planning, number of children and family planning staff visits. Decision makers of family planning arethe targets in the target family planning communication program. The purpose of thisstudy is to know how the role of decision makers against the use of MKJP. The studydesign was cross sectional. The sample of this research is acceptors of moderncontraception taken secondary data result of Performance Indicator Survey KKBPKRPJMN program in 2017 number 20109 people. Data were analyzed by multiplelogistic regression. Decision making jointly by acceptor with partner or with serviceprovider has substantially greater chance to use LAPM. Decision making relationshipswith the use of MKJP differ by service source after controlling by age, education, shelter, number of children, desire for more children, source of FP services and FPcounseling. At government service sources, the opportunities for MKJP use to be smallon joint decision making rather than decisions made by the acceptor themselves. It issuggested to increase the role of spouses and service providers to discuss the selectionof contraceptives with acceptors. Keywords: Decision maker, FP service source, LAPM.
