The DKI Jakarta Province is the epicenter of the spread of COVID-19 with the highest cases in Indonesia, for this reason prevention efforts are needed in the community. This study aims to see the prevention measures for the transmission of COVID-19 in the people of DKI Jakarta in terms of the variables in the Health Belief Model theory. Research with a quantitative method approach, cross sectional design, was conducted on 320 people aged 15-64 years and was taken by quota sampling from 5 areas of DKI Jakarta. Data were collected using the respondent's method of giving a questionnaire which was conducted online and analyzed descriptively. The results of community research have done most of the prevention of COVID-19 transmission well, such as using masks every time you leave the house, applying cough etiquette, washing hands with soap and water before eating, after eating, after using the bathroom, after activities and objects, as well as washing hands for at least 20 seconds, using hand sanitizers, staying at home when sick, avoiding shaking hands, giving 1-2 meters distance from other people, avoiding activities that involve many people, avoiding public places and transportation, and avoiding traveling to the zone red. This is because the community knowledge about efforts to prevent COVID-19 is high, but still low regarding alcohol use and the time it takes to catch COVID-19. Society in general complicates COVID-19, a serious disease for itself and susceptible to COVID-19. Of the society does not feel there are obstacles to taking precautions, and stopping COVID-19 prevention measures is beneficial for them and they feel capable of taking preventive measures. It is necessary to increase effective and consistent education or socialization through various media for knowledge and behavior that is still inadequate, conduct counseling on how to use masks properly, and increase the implementation of policies and discipline in all sectors.

DKI Jakarta Province is one of 4 Provinces in Indonesia for the initial implementation site of the BPaL (Bedaquiline, Pretomanid, Linezolid) combination for treating DR-TB (Drug Resistant Tuberculosis) in an operational research order. The study aimed to compare the success of treatment of TB RO patients with the use of Bedaquiline in the treatment combination with the success of treatment of TB RO patients without Bedaquiline in the treatment combination. The study used a retrospective cohort design and data analysis with survival analysis from the Tuberculosis Information System (SITB) data of DKI Jakarta Province in 2020 – 2023. Results of the study shows that in Monoresistant, Rifampicin Resistant, Polyresistant and Multidrugs Resistant resistance patterns, the success of treatment combination using Bedaquiline did not show a significant difference with the success of treatment combination without using Bedaquiline after being controlled by treatment combination type variable (HR 1.01; 95% CI 0.79 -1.29; p-value = 0.939). In pre-Extensively Drug Resistant and Extensively Drug Resistant resistance patterns, the success of treatment combination using Bedaquiline was also not significantly different when compared to the success of the treatment combination without Bedaquiline after being controlled by treatment combination type variable (HR 1.14; 95% CI 0.34 – 3.82; p-value = 0.835). Health workers are expected to continue providing education on the importance of compliance with treatment regimens and giving social and psychological support to patients in order to maintain patient’s consistency in undergoing treatment.
The reporting of Patient Safety Incidents (IKP) is a critical component in improving service quality and fostering a culture of safety in hospitals. According to the National Patient Safety Agency, incident reporting serves as a learning tool to prevent the recurrence of similar events. However, 2019 data showed that only about 12% of hospitals in Indonesia reported their IKP. This study aims to assess the level of external IKP reporting by hospitals in DKI Jakarta Province based on administrative region, hospital class, type of service, and ownership status, and to analyze the relationship between these variables and reporting compliance. This study used a quantitative cross- sectional design, with additional interviews to support the discussion. Secondary data were obtained from the 2024 IKP reports submitted by hospitals in DKI Jakarta Province. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution and Kruskal-Wallis test, a nonparametric statistic test. Results indicated that only the administrative region variable had a significant relationship with the level of IKP reporting. East Jakarta was identified as the region with the lowest reporting rate, which may be influenced by a higher number of hospitals and the effectiveness of local supervision. Meanwhile, Class C hospitals, general hospitals, and government-owned hospitals tended to report less frequently, although the differences were not statistically significant. This study highlights the variation in IKP reporting across hospital characteristics and underscores the important role of administrative regions in supervision and support. These findings may serve as evaluation material to strengthen external IKP reporting strategies, particularly for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office.
