Abstrak:
Laboratorium merupakan tempat dilakukan penelitian ilmiah, klinis, ataupun sebagai sarana pendidikan. Pekerja laboran setiap harinya bekerja dengan kondisi lingkungan laboratorium penuh dengan bahaya dan risiko yang tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu fakultas Universitas Indonesia yakni Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di tahun 2014.
Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif analitik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kebutuhan pelatihan K3 di laboratorium FMIPA UI khususnya laboran melalui analisis organisasi, analisis tugas dan analisis personal dan pengkategorian pelatihan berdasarkan tujuan.
Analisis organisasi menunjukan FMIPA UI masih belum mendukung secara maksimal pengadaan pelatihan K3. Analisis tugas menemukan karakteristik bahaya dan risiko yang ada di laboratorium sehingga dapat ditentukan pelatihan K3 yang dibutuhkan. Analisis personal melalui wawancara mendalam menemukan bahwa masih kurangnya pengetahuan laboran di laboratorium FMIPA UI terhadap K3 secara umum.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah matriks pelatihan K3 yang dibutuhkan oleh laboratorium di FMIPA UI dengan tiga kategori yakni pelatihan kategori orientasi untuk merubah persepsi laboran/staff lab terhadap K3, pelatihan kategori keterampilan untuk menambah atau memperbaiki keterampilan K3 yang dimiliki, dan pelatihan kategori pengembangan meberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dengan tujuan menaikan tingkat laboran/ staff lab.
Laboratory is a place for scientific research, clinical, or as a means of education. Laboratory workers everydays work with high risk of hazards established from its material and process. This study conducted at one faculty in Universitas Indonesia which is Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA UI) in 2014.
The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive analytic design. This research aimed to look at FMIPA UI laboratory workers needs in occupational health and safety training. Through organizational analysis, task analysis and personal analysis process then categorized based on training purposes.
Organizational analysis shows FMIPA UI still has not maximally supported training. Task analysis find characteristic of the hazards and risks that exist in the laboratory so it can be determined which safety training is needed. Personal analysis through deep interview found that there’s still lack of knowledge workers in the FMIPA UI laboratory in general.
This research results is establishing a matrix of health and safety training required by a laboratory in FMIPA UI with three categories. Training orientation to change the perception, training skill to add or fix skill that needed to increase safety performance by workers and training development to develop a new knowledge and skills for laboratory workers.

Abstrak:
ABSTRACT Laboratorium merupakan salah satu temapt kerja yang memiliki potensi bahaya dan risiko K3 yang cukup besar. Dengan digunakannya berbagai peralatan dan bahan, para pengguna laboratorium, khususnya Laboratorium Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia (FT UI), terpajan berbagai jenis bahaya seperti bahaya kesehatan dan keselamatan. Oleh karena itu dituntut penerapan metode pengendalian guna mereduksi potensi bahaya dan risiko K3 tersebut. Pelatihan adalah salah satu metode control yang dapat diterapkan di laboratorium FT, bersamaan dengan metode pengendalian lain baik engineering, administratif, atau dengan alat pelindung diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pelatihan K3 yang diperlukan oleh pekerja laboratorium sehingga dapat dilakukan program pelatihan yang efektif dan efisien untuk menjawab permasalahan K3 yang ada di laboratorium.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam kepada pekerja laboratorium dan observasi di laboratorium. Proses analisis laboratorium atau tempat kerja meliputi analisis organisasi, pekerjaan, dan personal. Hasil dari analisis organisasi dapat melihat dukungan dari pihak manajemen terkait pelaksanaan K3 di laboratorium, Hasil dari analisis pekerjaan dapat melihat bahaya dan risiko dari pekerjaan di laboratorium, serta analisis personal melihat pengetahuan dan data pelatihan dari pekerja di laboratorium sehingga menghasilkan matriks pelatihan K3 untuk laboratorium FT UI. Pelatihan yang lebih dibutuhkan untuk pekerja laboratorium yaitu bersifat konseptual dan orientasi kepada perilaku K3 di laboratorium.
ABSTRACT Laboratory is one of the potential workplace that has large hazards and risks of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). With the use of a variety of equipment and materials, particularly Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (UI FT), laboratory users exposed to various types of hazards such as health and safety hazards. Therefore, the application of control methods are required in order to reduce potential hazards and risks of OHS. Training is one of the control methods that can be applied in the laboratory, in conjunction with other control methods either engineering, administrative, or personal protective equipment. This study aims to analyze the training needs of OHS, required by the laboratory worker training program so that it can be done effectively and efficiently to address the problems that exist in laboratorium. This research uses a qualitative design with in-depth interviews and observation to laboratory workers in the laboratory. The process of laboratory analysis or analysis covering workplace organization, work, and personal. The results of the analysis of the organization can see the support from management regarding the conduct of OHS in the laboratory, results of job analysis to see the dangers and risks of work in the laboratory, as well as the analysis of knowledge and personal look at the data in the training of laboratory workers resulting OHS training matrix for laboratory in FT UI. More orientation training is needed for laboratory workers and conceptual to change the behavior of OHS in the laboratory.

Abstrak:
Universitas merupakan organisasi yang memiliki potensi bahaya dan risiko yang signifikan. Dengan berbagai kegiatan, bahan dan instrumentasi kerja yang kompleks, maka berpotensi terjadinya cidera dan sakit akibat kerja. Sangat penting adanya pelatihan terkait keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja khususnya untuk pegawai di lingkungan universitas. Para pegawai yang bekerja di dalam lingkungan akademis harus memiliki pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku kerja yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja sehingga tercipta lingkungan kerja yang selamat dan sehat. Pusat Administrasi Universitas Indonesia merupakan organisasi yang diharapkan memiliki pegawai yang berpengetahuan, bersikap dan berperilaku K3 yang baik sehingga tercipta lingkungan kerja yang aman dan nyaman. Oleh karena itu penyelenggaraan training K3 menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan keterampilan dan perilaku K3 tersebut. Namun, analisis kebutuhan pelatihan K3 di PAU penting dilakukan agar pelatihan yang diberikan efektif dan efisien. Training Needs Analysis (TNA) merupakan upaya untuk merencanakan kegiatan pelatihan agar tepat sasaran. Penelitian ini melakukan TNA pelatihan K3 di PAU dengan melakukan analisis terhadap organisasi, tugas dan personal. Jenis pelatihan yang sangat dibutuhkan bagi pegawai PAU adalah pelatihan orientasi antara lain hazard communication,K3 dasar, ergonomi, occupational and health promotion, bahaya psikososial serta hygiene dan sanitasi. Study ini menghasilkan matriks pelatihan K3 untuk staf PAU-UI.

The provision of OHS training, thus is very important in order to have a healthy and safe working knowledge, skills and attitudes among the worker. The administration centre of Universitas Indonesia (Pusat Administrasi Universitas Indonesia, PAU-UI) is one of organization whithin Universitas Indonesia that is expected to have a good OHS performance and expressed as satisfactory OHS knowledge, skill and behavior among the staffs. Those lead to safe and comfortable working environment. Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of OHS in PAU is important so have effective and efficient trainings. This study performed a TNA of OHS Training in PAU-UI. The assessment was done by analyzing the organization, task and personal competency. The type of training that is necessary for PAU employee are hazard communication, OHS Basic, ergonomics, occupational and health promotion, psychosocial hazards as well as hygiene and sanitation. This study generated OHS training matrix for the PAU-UI staffs.
