Health system transformation is critical to improving health service delivery. This study investigates laboratory services at the Depok Jaya Community Health Center, focusing on the state of resources, facilities, and policies and the challenges faced in laboratory operations, especially in the context oflimited facilities. A mixed methods approach combined observations and interviews with laboratory staff to assess workflow and service delivery processes. Patient flow and service utilization data are also collected to evaluate the operational efficiency of laboratory services. Findings suggest that the integration of non-separate infectious and non-infectious laboratory areas presents significant risks, highlighting the need for strict protocols and separation measures. Recommendations include establishing clear workflows, increasing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and providing regular training for staff on safety protocols to minimize the risk of contamination. The study revealed a structured patient flow within the laboratory, with specific steps for sample collection and identity verification to prevent errors. Operational challenges relate to inadequate infrastructure and the need for ongoing staff training. Improving laboratory services at the Depok Jaya Community Health Center requires a comprehensive approach, including infrastructure improvements, staff training, and compliance with safety protocols. Address areas that can significantly improve service delivery and contribute to better health outcomes in the community.
