Abstrak:

ABSTRAK Bahaya radiasi Ultraviolet-B di tempat kerja yang dihasilkan oleh proses pengelasan merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya gangguan kesehatan dan penyakit akibat kerja pada pekerja PT. Jaya Asiatic Shipayrd Indonesia ? Batam, yang mana dalam proses produksinya melakukan proses pengelasan dalam penyambungan logam mempunyai potensi untuk terjadinya kelelahan mata pekerja las. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terjadi peningkatan keluhan kelelahan mata sebagai akibat pajanan radiasi Ultraviolet-B pada pekerja las di workshop Hull perusahaan. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan keluhan kelelahan mata yang diteliti adalah tingkat radiasi Ultraviolet-B, serta beberapa faktor yang berkaitan dengan individu yaitu umur, lama paparan dan pemakaian Alat Pelindung Diri. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan disain deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional untuk menemukan fakta dengan interpretasi yang tepat dan akurat melukiskan gejala-gejala kelelahan mata pada kelompok atau individu pekerja las. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat radiasi Ultraviolet-B memapar pekerja las, serta mendapatkan data umur, lama paparan, dan pemakaian Alat Pelindung Diri melalui kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 90% pekerja las di workshop Hull mengalami keluhan kelelahan mata. Setelah dilakukan analisis data, ternyata keseluruhan pekerja las terpapar dengan tingkat radiasi yang dihasilkan oleh proses pengelasan yang melebihi nilai ambang batas. Analisis hubungan antara faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keluhan kelelahan mata pekerja ternyata tidak terlihat adanya hubungan. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari hasil pengukuran radiasi Ultraviolet-B di workshop Hull melebihi nilai ambang batas yang diperbolehkan berdasarkan PERMENAKERTRANS No. PER.13/MEN/X/2012. Bagi peneliti lain yang ingin melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keluhan kelelahan mata pekerja las, perlu mempertimbangkan adanya populasi kontrol.

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in eye fatigue complaints as a result of UV-B radiation exposure to welder in Hull Workshop. Factor associated with complaints of eye fatigue studied is Ultraviolet-B radiation levels, as well as a number of factors relating to the individual, namely age, duration of exposure, and usage of Personal Protective Equipment. The research was done by analytical descriptive design with cross sectional approach to find the facts to the proper interpretation and accurately describe the symptoms of eye fatigue on the individual or group of welder. Data collection was performed by measuring the levels of UV-B radiation exposed welders, as well as getting the data on age, duration of exposure and the use of Personal Protective Equipment through questionnaires. The survey results revealed that 90% of workers in the Hull welding workshop complaint of eye fatigue. After analyzing the data, it turns out that the whole welders were exposed to radiation levels generated by the welding process that exceeds a threshold limit value. Analysis of the relationship between the factors that affect workers' complaints eyes fatigue was not visible. From this study it can be concluded that the measurement of UV-B radiation in Hull workshop exceeds the threshold limit value allowed by PERMENAKERTRANS No. PER.13/MEN/X/2012. Abstrak: Kurangnya pencahayaan di tempat kerja berdampak pada kesehatan mata.Penelitian ini membahas tentang gambaran tingkat pencahayaan terhadap keluhansubjektif kelelahan mata pekerja di ruang security and safety PT. XYZ tahun 2016.Penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan desain studi cross sectional. Datadidapat dari penyebaran kuesioner dan melakukan pengukuran tingkat pencahayaandi ruang kerja yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan tingkat pencahayaan yang adapada KepMenKes No.1405/MENKES/SK/XI/2002. Hasil penelitian menunjukkantingkat cahaya 81,3% tidak memenuhi NAB dan mengalami keluhan mata sebesar87,5%. Faktor tampilan layar monitor dan kelainan refraksi memiliki hubunganyang signifikan terhadap kelelahan mata.Kata kunci : keluhan subjektif, kelelahan mata, tingkat pencahayaan.

Abstrak: Aktivitas administrasi di dalam ruang kantor seperti menulis, membaca, mengetik dan menggunakan komputer merupakan pekerjaan yang dilakukan terus menerus dan membutuhkan tingkat pencahayaan yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pencahayaan dan keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata pada pekerja di ruang kantor PT. XYZ tahun 2017. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat pencahayaan, usia, lama kerja, kelainan refraksi, perilaku berisiko terhadap kesehatan mata, durasi kerja, kekontrasan, dan tampilan layar monitor. Sedangkan variabel dependen adalah keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 45 orang pekerja dengan desain studi cross sectional. Hasil pengukuran tingkat pencahayaan menggunakan lux meter diketahui bahwa 80% area kerja tidak memenuhi standar Permenkes No. 48 Tahun 2016, dimana terdapat 82,2% pekerja mengalami keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata. Hasil penelitian ini tidak menunjukan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik individu (usia, lama kerja, kelainan refraksi, perilaku berisiko terhadap kesehatan mata), faktor pekerjaan (durasi kerja, kekontrasan,tampilan layar monitor), dan tingkat pencahayaan dengan keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata.

Administrative activities in office such as writing, reading, typing and using computers are work that are done repetitively and require adequate lighting levels. This study aims to analyze the lighting level and subjective complaints of eye fatigue in workers in the office of PT. XYZ in 2017. The independent variables in this study are the lighting level, age, duration of employment, refractive abnormalities, risky behavior, duration of work, contrast, and monitor screen display. While the dependent variable is subjective complaints of eye fatigue. This research was conducted to 45 workers with cross sectional study design. From the measurement of ligthing level using lux meter, 80% work area is known to not meet the standard of Permenkes. 48 of 2016, where 82.2% of workers are experiencing eyestrain due to insufficient level of lighting. The results of this study did not show any significant relationship between individual characteristics (age, duration of work, refractive abnormalities, risky behavior to eye health), occupational factors (duration of work, contrast, monitor screen display) and lighting level with subjective complaints of eyestrain on workers.

Abstrak: Pencahayaan dibutuhkan untuk mendukung aktivitas kerja, salah satunya dikonveksi. Penelitian ini meneliti gambaran intensitas pencahayaan dan keluhan subyektif kelelahan mata pada pekerja di Konveksi Jeans Daerah Kemayoran Jakarta Pusat. Jenis penelitian adalah semi kuantitatif, berupa pengukuran instensitas pencahayaan dan wawancara mendalam dengan pekerja dan pemilik konveksi jeans. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing titik pengukuran tidak sesuai dengan Kepmen No 1405 Tahun 2002 yaitu 1000 Luxuntuk kategori pekerjaan halus dan terdapat keluhan subyektif kelelahan mata pada pekerja yang dipengaruhi oleh durasi kerja, istirahatakan mata, masa kerja, riwayat pekerjaan, dan faktor prilaku pekerja. Abstrak:
Mata merupakan indera manusia yang paling dominan dalam beraktivitas. Sekitar 90% aktivitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dikendalikan oleh sistem penglihatan sehingga penglihatan yang terganggu akan berpengaruh terhadap berbagi domain fungsional. Kelelahan mata merupakan salah satu gangguan yang paling sering ditemui pada pekerja dan dapat terjadi di berbagai jenis pekerjaan, termasuk pada pekerja fabrikasi yang aktivitas pekerjaannya sangat mengandalkan mata serta membutuhkan konsentrasi visual yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kelelahan mata pada pekerja fabrikasi di PT XYZ tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada 76 pekerja fabrikasi di PT XYZ. Variabel penelitian meliputi kelelahan mata, intensitas pencahayaan di tempat kerja, kelainan refraksi, usia, masa kerja, durasi kerja, jenis pekerjaan, dan penggunaan APD. Variabel intensitas pencahayaan diukur dengan lux meter, variabel kelelahan diukur dengan Visual Fatigue Questionnaire, dan variabel lain diukur dengan kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat, yaitu dengan uji chi-square dan mann-whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 67,1% pekerja fabrikasi di PT XYZ mengalami kelelahan mata. Tiga gejala terbanyak yang pernah dialami adalah mata terasa lelah (65,8%), penglihatan kabur atau buram (56,6%), dan iritasi mata (47,4%). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kelainan refraksi (p=0,006), usia (p=0,034), dan masa kerja (p=0,004) dengan kelelahan mata. Rata-rata skor kelelahan mata juga berbeda secara signifikan berdasarkan intensitas pencahayaan (p=0,049) dan durasi kerja (p=0,007). Oleh sebab itu, untuk meminimalisir risiko kelelahan mata, perlu dilakukan perbaikan yang mencakup faktor-faktor risiko tersebut.


The eyes are the most dominant human sensory organ in daily activities. Approximately, 90% of everyday tasks rely on the visual system; therefore, impaired vision can affect various functional domains. Eye fatigue is one of the most common visual complaints among workers and can occur in various types of jobs, including fabrication work, which heavily depends on visual concentration. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with eye fatigue among fabrication workers at PT XYZ in 2025. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed, involving 76 fabrication workers. The variables examined included eye fatigue, lighting intensity in the workplace, refractive errors, age, years of service, working hours, job type, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Lighting intensity was measured using a lux meter, eye fatigue was assessed using the Visual Fatigue Questionnaire, and other variables were measured through a self-developed questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods, specifically chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests. The results showed that 67.1% of workers experienced eye fatigue. The three most commonly reported symptoms were tired eyes (65.8%), blurred vision (56.6%), and eye irritation (47.4%). Significant associations were found between eye fatigue and refractive errors (p=0.006), age (p=0.034), and years of service (p=0.004). Significant differences in average eye fatigue scores were also observed based on lighting intensity (p=0.049) and working hours (p=0.007). Therefore, to minimize the risk of eye fatigue, improvements targeting these risk factors are necessary.
